Guest Reviews
- Salihah (10/5): Exceptional - the staff here were the most helpful and so so lovely would definitely recommend 🌹
- Charline (9/5): Superb -
- Roman (8/5): Very good - Clean place, Some staff were super helpful, Some staff chatted all night long in front of the door, cleaning team is also occupying spaces and even smoking in front of an open dorm door, didn't really feel welcomed here
- Idan (9/5): Superb -
- Jacob (7/5): Decent for a short stay - Liked:
* Good facilities covering a nice pool, kitchen, chill out areas.
* Friendly staff that were very helpful 24 hours a day.
* Good location near to the main town.
* Good breakfast.
Disliked:
* Bed wasn’t comfy and it didn’t have a bed sheet on. The big blanket for cold nights also had a smell.
* Bathroom was horrid but clean.
- Kaileigh (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this hostel was phenomenal, nice big dorm, comfy bed, really clean, great facilities and great people! Location is a tiny bit far but it’s not a big deal if you like to walk a bit
- Ashley (8/5): Affordable place to stay - Beds had curtains for privacy, staff was very nice, having balcony space in the dorm was really convenient, really good price It got hot sometimes, especially if you were in the dorm in the afternoon, and they didn’t allow outside drinks in the hostel
- Wilfredo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pacejková (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jerneja (7/5): There’s room for improvement - Nice staff, very helpful. Rooms are spacious, very central locations close to main square, supermarket and bars. Breakfast is very basic, very good WiFi. Bathroom was a disaster. Very small, shower and sink were leaking. Tap was broken, as well as shower handle (something that can be replaced). It was very hot in the hostel, for some reason AC was not on! It would be very helpful to put some hangers in the room, to hang your towel…
- Rhys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (8/5): Very good -
- Matthias (8/5): Nice stay - Really nice stay in Mendoza, staff were really nice and breakfast was decent - pastries, cereals, breads etc. Good location, 10 minute walk to the Carrefour Supermarket, less than 5 minutes to the Independent Plaza and one of the main streets with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Wifi was strong and they have daily events either ran by the hostel or an operator who’d visit. AC was on a timer, but could be turned on earlier if requested. The light for the shower was connected to the room light meaning they’d both turn on at the same time. Could be annoying if you’re a light sleeper.
- Alden (8/5): Very good -
- Ronny (9/5): Fun hostel with nice staff - -Great location
-Fun activities
-Social vibes
-Good breakfast
-Helpful and friendly staff
-Nice beds with curtains, power outlet and lamp
-Large lockers -Kitchen lacks some equipment
-Pool water is nasty
- Inti (8/5): Awesome stay in the city centre of Mendoza! - Very colourful and roomy hostel! Very nice patio and very nice to have a Pool for the warm days! Bathroom and lavabo of low quality (broken sink)!
- Natalie (8/5): Super cozy hostel - - staff is extremely helpful and very friendly, they all speak very good English
- nice big rooms with each a private bathroom
- location very central
- comfortable beds
- solid breakfast - fridge waaaaay to small, not being maintained (I saw some melted cheese sticking to the shelf), overall the kitchen is not well equipped
- AC only being turned on during some hours in the night, which doesn’t really cool down the dorm
- Eoin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catalin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rhys (9/5): Nice little pool, social vibe and Central location.. staff were very helpful. - Pool and Central location.. staff were very helpful. Dorm rooms are quite small.
- Stf0 (7/5): Good - Good location, shared facilities, very kind staff The 4 bed room is very damp, stinks like sewage, and the towels were having a bad odor.
- Julien (9/5): Good - Good location, comfy beds Need to put more bathroom or toilet
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were friendly and helpful. Very social place. Only complaint would be that the shower light and the main light for the room were the same switch. Kind of prevented showering at certain times to not bother others.
- Diego (9/5): Central, affordable and convenient location - Central location, only 5 minutes walk from the Independence Square. Quiet location. I have stayed 4 nights in a private room and it was quiet.
There is a small pool and a common area/living.
The breakfast is based on cereals, toast, pastry.. not much but enough to start the day.
Unluckily during my stay, a big group of athletes stayed at the hostel... therefore the common and grupal activities were not running... but the hostal offers many.
- Garth (8/5): Good - Arrived early from Buenos Aires, received thoughtful greeting, stored backpack | solid WiFi | hot shower | lines to dry clothes on dorm balcony | functional kitchen | basic breakfast | clean | good location |
- Juliette (9/5): Superb - The swimming pool was great and the view from the room was nice. The breakfast simple but appreciated.
- Johanne (10/5): You can stop scrolling now - The best hostel and vibe in Mendoza! Amazing straff, good vibe among travelers and always someone to speak english with If you dont know spanish :) all in all a really great hostel!! Very plan breakfast. Some eggs would have done it🤌🏼
- Mara (9/5): Great location at an affordable price - The location is just perfect and staff is very friendly. Bathroom is so small
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Was here for almost a month. Facilities are amazing and so is the staff. Ana and Valentina especially were incredibly kind and made me feel at home. Thank you so much!
- Lester (10/5): Amazing Staff / Beautiful Place - The service here is outstanding, and the staff is super friendly and amazing! Valentina, Alejandro, Anna, Pablo, and the whole team were incredible! I ended up extending my stay because of them and the owner's kindness. This is definitely one of my favorite hostels ever! Nothing
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - Pretty nice people & location
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional - Very sociable, good breakfast and nice gardens. Also musical instruments
- Keanu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was amazing ! Really helpful with everything
- Alvaro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (8/5): Great stay good vibes with nice staff - Good vibes
Nice personnel, very helpful
You can book tours via the hostel (wineries, walks.. etc) I booked the winery one and it was great!
You can get a sim card from them too if needed Bathroom too small with no extractor fan.
Some hooks in the room will be good too, it’s quite a big room so there’s space for that for sure
- Kenzie (7/5): Good -
- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing - the staff was super friendly my bed was next to the wall 50 cm, didn't feel confortable.
The toilet makes noise all day long, and the curtain is so annoying, stuck to my body during the shower. As a result, the floor is constantly wet, which isn't nice.
The breakfast could be better, no butter and the croissant wasn't good, the juice is chemical.
- Diego (10/5): Exceptional - The poeple and the hotel is amazing, everything is new The bathroom
- Charlotte (7/5): Good - Beds are great. Breakfast is good. The staff is very nice. There is not really a place to hang out or relax, like hammocks or bean bags or sofas.
- Katarzyna (8/5): Very social place with good vibe and lovely staff - I loved the hostel vibe, it is a very social place with really nice and friendly staff. Big thanks to Rayen for stepping in and covering for someone and leading the wine cycle tour. You were great.
Also thanks to Alex for being so nice and helpful.
Nice breakfast and big kitchen to cook your own meal. Good location, walking distance to the main plaza and to big shops.
Would def recommend for solo travelers who are keen on meeting other people. Didnt like the shower in the female only dorm. It was very uncomfortable, too small so the curtain was always getting in the way.
- Josh (9/5): Cool hostel, very social, best location - Cool little pool, loads of opportunities to meet other travellers on the many social events they run and very comfortable room. Could have had a double bed instead of two beds put together, but I do understand why they use two singles.
- Dilara (9/5): Superb - Stuff are very polite and friendly and definetly helpfull about everything! You can ask whatever you want, they will assist you. And the location is closed to most visited places which are usefull.
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arun (3/5): Very poor stay - The staff were helpful and location was good Well this was a very disappointing stay. There is only one private room and it is located right by the front door of the hostel and in front of the reception desk. I could hear everyone coming in all night alongside the significant road traffic especially when the busses came down. On top of this, around 2.15am the night manager was having a full blown conversation with a guest that went on for 20 mins before I had to remind them we were trying to sleep.
The room itself was very poor. There was a horrid smell coming from the bathroom, which we found out was due to blocked drains. The manager attempted to put some chemicals down the toilet to relieve this but by the morning it had come back. To be fair they did offer us to move room to a dorm style room or to check if a different hostel had space but considering it was around 2200 by this time we decided to stay put. The room door has a glass slit in it, which meant light from the main hallway was able to pass through and there was no way of reducing this.
I was charged extra to pay by card, which considering has not happened in any other hostel I have stayed in during my time in Argentina, was even more annoying considering the poor quality of the stay.
I would not come back here to stay I’m afraid
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pok (8/5): Very good -
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): The staff was super friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot for the great stay. -
- Jaroslav (6/5): Watch out - so many CAN'T DO rules! - Pool was amazing
Great location.
Friendly staff Cannot bring any alcohol in the hostel - you can only purchase some beers from the fridge
Cannot invite friends to the hostel (you can but you have to pay for it)
Have to pay for the towel.
Cannot keep the remote from the aircon - you have to go to the reception. Every time you want to switch on / off the aircon.
All the rules are for the private rooms to!
- Cesar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Callum (7/5): Good -
- Eva (7/5): Good stay, close to the city centre - - The pool and the lady at the reception who spoke English was super helpful and lovely.
- they organised some tours and offered a hostel program which we didn’t participate as we had other plans but looked nice - The breakfast was pretty average, only pastries, bread, jam and cream. There were oats but there was no hot milk so not really appealing. The cornflakes were a good alternative although it would have been nice if they would offer eggs or fruit. The weird thing about it was that you weren’t allowed to use the kitchen to make your own food if you didn’t like what they were offering or wanted to cook something else.
- someone in the room stole the aircon remote which we complained about however no action was taken which meant it was super hot at night.
- the utensils in the kitchen were quite average - a mixer of some sort of kind would have been amazing.
- I don’t love hostels which have a shower and bathroom in the dorm room somehow impractical
- the shower in our dorm room was terrible, felt like showering under a bucket
- Lgmth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Babs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maciej (6/5): meet cool people, but there were some annoyances that won't make me choose this place next time - nice common areas, comfortable beds small, uncomfortable bathrooms, no towels for the floor in bathroom, bad administration, illogical and unclear rules (can't drink water in your room? can't bring water from outside of the hostel)
- Gabriela (7/5): Good -
- Senay (9/5): Perfect facilities but could be more social - Perfect hostel in regards to facilities, cleanliness, and location. They literally thought of everything. In the center of lots of restaurants. Could be more social! Hostel should organize nightly activities and asados to make it more social.
For example, on Mondays, they should take people to la bomba de tiempo.
- Kandis (5/5): Passable - The staff were nice, good location, and yummy pastries for breakfast. I found a live bed bug in my bed on the first night.
- Gediminas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ailbhe (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely common area by the pool, very social atmosphere, hostel staff organised lots of events for guests As this hostel has a social atmosphere and is a party hostel it can be noisy at night time
- Luna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleja (10/5): Perfect place to mingle, feel save and comfortable - Very comfortable, clean, great installations, as a first solo teaveller is the perfect place to meet people and make plans together ❤️. Activities organized by the hostel are great. It was very difficult to communicate with 2 of the girls at reception. They didn't give any information about how the things worked at the place..schedule, entrance, door code, swimming pool. When they were asked the answers were not clear, or they answered with neglecting attitude. However the guy at the night shift amazing, other girls in reception very helpful, and maintenance and cleaning staff nicest people I've met in my life.
- Anders (8/5): Recommend - Good hostel, nice staff, good location
- Wong (10/5): Exceptional - prefect! If more common bathrooms or toilets, but not a big deal.
- Guido (7/5): nice place, small bathrooms - Good location.
Staff is friendly and take care of problems.
Swiming pool is ok. We booked for 3 people in one room (togheter), but got separated in the Hostel (they claimed that booking did that).
Bathrooms and showers are very small.
Breakfast is kind of limited (too many bakery sweets), cofee is kind of ok.
- Cecile (7/5): Good -
- Rob (9/5): Superb -
- Singh (9/5): Definitely recommend! - Staff were incredible - they went above and beyond to help! Location is great and the rooms seem to be be cleaned very frequently. Great free walking tour! No hooks in the room to hang anything (except a couple in the bathroom). The bathroom in the room I stayed in was also very small, the shower particularly.
- Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valentin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vito (9/5): Superb -
- Conrad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ryan (9/5): Excellent hostel right in the heart of downtown Mendoza with friendly staff. - The staff at the fuxia hostel was very accommodating and helped us with all of our questions we had about Mendoza. They went the extra mile to book a reservation for me and my fiancee's engagement dinner and really made the trip wonderful. Excellent room for what you paid for. No problems.
- Tea (9/5): Superb - Amazing staff, I got good tips for restaurants etc.
Free walking tour was a nice addition to the programme
Very clean
Good location Breakfast could have some fruit daily (there was some one morning during my stay)
A few coat hooks in the room would be nice (to hang your towel or jacket)
- Серж (10/5): Exceptional - Second time here and always good experience.
Cozy and friendly place for lonely travelers and company
- Katarzyna (10/5): Exceptional - People at the reception! Thank you very much for help!!!!
- Alice (10/5): Amazing place - Wonderful staff and comfortable atmosphere
- Серж (9/5): Superb - Nice, helpful and kind stuff. Close to city center. Good internet.
- Denise (10/5): Great - Very comfortable beds with curtain. Perfect location and good breakfast. Really nice social vibe with cool activities being organised Shower was a bit small.
- Pablo (9/5): Superb -
- Muriel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marnix (8/5): Very good -
- Roxan (8/5): Cozy and convinient - The hostel is located in a central area and close to the public bus stops. The tours provided from the hostel were great and the beds were super comfy and private with individual curtains. The staff were very helpful and kind.
- Jiyeon (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly staff!!!
- Jack (8/5): nice hostel , staff make it - nice room, really helpful and friendly staff , good breakfast and fab location room was right outside reception so at night light shines through and can hear everyone going/ coming in from night out and there convos.
- Pablo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francisco (8/5): Very good -
- Anastasiya (8/5): Location is good - Location is good, clean. The room that I booked was not provided. I booked a room for 4 got a room for 6. Not sure if the issue with booking.com or there system, met other people having an issue with bookings and they were not even on the system and they had an email confirmation from a third party that they have a room, but in reality there name was not on the system. So get the booking systems in order.
The night shift person doesn’t speak any English, in case you are like me, don’t speak Spanish, and have a late check in, have google translate ready on your phone!
The price for the tours is lower at the agency’s than paying at the hostel! So if you have time to go around and not in hurry don’t buy the tours from hostel! go to an agency and it will be cheaper.
When wrote them a message on booking.com that I have a late arrival, they didn’t respond or write me a WhatsApp, as other hostels did and keep in touch. So get the communication in order!
- Nicolas (8/5): Very good -
- Roger (9/5): Superb -
- Cyrill (10/5): Exceptional - One of the best hostel i have been. Clean and well organized. Compfy beds and very clean sheets. In the heart of Mendoza and they help you to organize tours. A little improvement: The towels to dry dishes were always wet and the space to let stuff dry overly full. But a nice breakfast.
- Melanie (10/5): One of the best hostels I've been! -
- Beelou (8/5): Very good -
- Rodrigo (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Clean, cheap, lively - Very clean and recently refurbished. Amazing atmosphere
