- Pál (3/5): Nem valami jó. - Első reggel kértem reggelit. Teát, kenyeret, vajat, lekvárt, yogurtot. Vajat és yogurtot nem kaptam. Többet nem mentem oda reggelizni. Nem tetszett, hogy megpróbáltak becsapni. Úgy látszik, a pénzünkre éhesek. A programjaikra jelentkeztem, mert a Booking com nem ismerte a szállást. A Booking azt ígérte, a szállásra értem jönnek. Itt nem volt a felsorolt szállások között a Tourist Plaza, ezért az ő programjaikra jelentkeztem. Két programot összevontak (nekik így kifizetődőbb volt) és az egyiket lerövidítették. A befizetett pénzt visszakértem, aminek csak egy részét adták oda. Nem tudom, miért ilyen pénz-éhesek.

- FaryNaz (7/5): - The staff were very friendly and supportive. They were always helpful whenever we asked for anything. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located, with good access to nearby sights and Tahrir Square. There were many electrical outlets in the room, which made it easy to charge devices anywhere. The hotel had made some effort to renovate the rooms. While the renovation was not perfect, it was well maintained, by Egyptian standards. The beds were comfortable, and the reception was open 24 hours. The reception staff spoke good English, so communication was never an issue. We also appreciated that tea or Turkish coffee could be served in the room upon request. We had requested a quiet room in advance, and this was confirmed. However, on the second evening, a guest with a constantly crying child was placed next to us. We contacted reception, and they handled the situation very well. They showed us other, more spacious suites a few streets away, but we declined as it did not have separate beds. Josef, who assisted us, was very helpful and showed us several options. In the end, we chose to stay in the same hotel, and they gave us another room on a higher floor, which solved the noise issue. We were very grateful for Josef’s support. Housekeeping is not automatic every day, but when we requested cleaning, it was done free of charge. These are some minor issues: The room had a small window that was blocked and did not allow natural light inside. Although the artificial lighting was sufficient, after a few days it felt somewhat suffocating and confined due to the lack of a real window. The building itself is very old, including the stairs and elevator. However, this reflects a broader issue in Egypt, where many buildings lack regular upkeep, rather than being specific to this hotel. While the beds were comfortable, the pillows were not ideal. They were large and firm rather than soft and supportive. Breakfast was acceptable for a short stay but lacked variety. It was fine for two days, but beyond that it became repetitive. Breakfast is not served as a buffet. Instead, it is served and includes white cheese, strawberry jam, halva, four pieces of white bread, a choice of eggs (plain omelet, sunny side up, boiled, or scrambled), and a choice of drink (tea or different types of coffee — no juice available). There were no options for different breads, or options like fruits, cereals, cooked vegetables, pastries, pancakes, or other items. The breakfast staff had limited English skills, so ordering beyond the listed options was difficult.

- Georgia Spanou (5/5): - Ήταν κοντά στο κέντρο. Το πρωινό είναι ελλιπές, χωρίς επιλογές. Η καθαριότητα στους κοινόχρηστους χώρους (είσοδος, ασανσέρ, σκάλα) δεν υπάρχει. Γάτες μέσα στο διάδρομο. Στο δωμάτιο δεν έμπαιναν για αλλαγή πετσέτας, σκουπιδιών αν δε το ζητούσαμε. Χαρτί τουαλέτας επίσης ζητούσαμε ( 3 άτομα για 5 βράδια). Συμφωνήσαμε για μια εκδρομή και αφού πληρώσαμε, μετά μας ζήτησαν παραπάνω χρήματα λόγω φόρων.
- MEL (1/5): Mauvaise expérience - Mauvaise expérience dans cet hôtel. Il n'y a pas grand chose d'intéressant. Seul l'emplacement proche du centre ville est intéressant et pratique. Il est situé dans une petite rue ce qui réduit le bruit la nuit pour dormir. Nous sommes restés 5 jours et la chambre n'a jamais été refaite et n'a jamais été nettoyée et il n'y avait plus de papier toilettes. Le personnel nous a vendu des excursions très nulles. Une sortie à Saqqarah avec un faux guide. Une soirée en croisière sur le Nil horrible. C'est un attrape touriste. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas bon. Très mauvaise expérience dans cet hôtel. Vraiment à éviter.

- EL HAZAM (8/5): - L emplacement proches des commerces en plein centre ville La chambre est bruyante, les fenêtres coulissantes ne sont pas faites pour des chambres d'hôtel, ne sont donc pas insonorisaates, c'est bruyant de jour comme de nuit.

Il ne s’agit pas d’un hôtel de luxe (3 étoiles égyptien) - La localisation au centre ville est plutôt commode, le prix est compétitif (mais en rapport avec le niveau de l’hôtel), le personnel se montre attentif. Les accès, notamment l’ascenseur, sont rustiques. Les chambres sont mal insonorisées, le petit déjeuner est sommaire.

Nella media - La posizione è molto comoda per visitare il centro del Cairo, sebbene la via di ingresso sia un po' defilata e, a primo impatto, non appaia rasserenante. La gentilezza dello staff L'hotel si trova all'interno di un palazzo fatiscente, come tanti altri nel Cairo, ma si presenta ristrutturato nella hall e nelle stanze. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono se tarato sulla media europea. La camera non era sporca ma neanche davvero pulita. Non sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani dopo la prima notte, il che è stato un po' scomodo poiché sia il lavandino che il soffione della doccia perdevano e dunque una delle asciugamani è servita per quello. La prima mattina non siamo riusciti a fare colazione poiché non siamo riusciti ad essere serviti nei 30' a nostra disposizione (pane e marmellata)

Цены низкие, завтрак вкусный, можно заказывать прямо в номер очень питательный, большой и дешевый ужин. Единственная проблема - здесь не очень чисто, особенно на лестнице. Однако, в Каире проблемы с чистотой встречаются и в гораздо более дорогих заведениях, так что я готов простить этому доброму такой недостаток. На лестице местами не очень чисто, было бы хорошо организовать более регулярный режим уборки (как и много где в Каире). А в остлальном, дополнительных замечаний у меня нет - за такую низкую цену, это вариант размещения просто отличный.

The hotel itself was comfortable, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. While the breakfast was simple, it provided a decent start to the day, and we didn’t mind skipping it most mornings. What truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us with arranging taxis and setting up a great tour. Their hospitality made our trip much more enjoyable, and for that, we are very thankful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a warm and helpful environment in Cairo.

When he finally showed up (after calling to the hotel), he took me to a wrong hotel. 2. I had to spend night in there and during the next day I was transferred to thehotel I booked. That was super uncomfortable. + I couldn’t go anywhere far from the hotel in the middle of the day and my plans for first day were ruined. 3. Room was not as pictured. It didn’t have cups and kettle as described. The shower was broken (they repaired it quite fast), the socket on the night stand was powerless during all my stay and they couldn’t fix it. Internet was weak and switched from on to off mode all the time. 4. Building and the entrance itself were a disaster. Staircase looked like it was never cleaned up during the past years. 5. Breakfast was monotonous. Zero fiber. Carbs + and egg. Don’t expect much. 6. THE WORST PART: STAFF STEALS. I stayed in the hotel twice and first time my two really cool nautica sport bras were stolen, second time my favourite hat (why on earth someone needs hat in a desert or used bra). Stealing can not be tolerated under any circumstances.

As I have seen in videos on YouTube, when you reach the hotel they say is booked out and cannot give your room, then they offer you a parter hotel, which is a real cheat and would cost 20% of what you paid. I stayed one night in this cheat hotel and went back to request what I paid for, and the room was available less then 6h after they say it was not. Just confirming it was a scam. Then internet was also very bad, as most of Cairo hotels I stayed.
