Essendo in un palazzo storico, l'appartamento è al 2 piano senza ascensore e le scale sono ripide, ma molto affascinanti...

• Alexandre (8/5): No geral muito boa acomodação. - Muito limpo. Localização excepcional. Espaçoso. Silencioso. Faltam alguns utensílios básicos: cafeteira, torradeira, forno traditional. Quando chegamos não tinha absolutamente nada no apartamento. Geralmente quando alugamos, os apartamentos vem com café, sal, azeite, adoçante e outras pequenas coisas.

Hatten Schmerzen vom Liegen. Das e Ausstattung ist super schön, alles ist sauber ABER die Dusche schimmelt und benötigt eine ordentliche Reinigung mit Chlor.

• Mari (9/5): Beautiful apartment next to colosseum - Beautiful small apartment right next to colosseum! Lovely area, metro close by. Very nice view from windows. Deep stairs, not for people with any trouble with stairs. A bit hard to carry luggage to the apartment.

• Villodre (9/5): Opción interesante calidad-precio - El espacio estaba muy preparado y todo muy nuevo. La calle algo oscura pero tranquila. Muy cerca del Coliseo. Quizás el estado del edificio, no está acorde al estado del apartamento. La escalera algo sucia y poco cuidada.

• Paula (10/5): - Muy bien ubicado, limpio y cómodo. Amplio. Muy equipado. La ducha estaba tapada y vino un señor a arreglarlo. La entrada al departamento es medio sucia y poco cuidada. Estuvimos sentados en la puerta con 40 grados de calor hasta las 14hs para el check in, no nos dejaron ingresar un ratito antes. No salió ni entró nadie en más de 1 hs sentados allí en la puerta. Mala recepción del personal. Son dos pisos por escalera.

• David (9/5): Osoblje je bilo veoma prijatno, lokacija odlična sa pogledom na Koloseum. Monti je prelijep dio grada sa mnogo restorana - Lokacija Otežan pristup starijim osobama
• Alberto (10/5): Ottima struttura - Al mio arrivo c'è stato un problema indipendente dalla mia volontà e da quella dell'host. La proprietà è immediatamente intervenuta per risolvere il problema, in modo rapido e professionale nonostante non avesse colpe. L'appartamento è in ottima posizione ma in una via silenziosa dove si dorme tranquilli. Spazioso, pulito, comodo, pratico. Il dover buttare via la spazzatura in autonomia può essere un problema per i turisti stranieri, che magari non capiscono come differenziare i rifiuti, ma ci comunque sono diversi bidoni a pochi passi dall'edificio. Nulla.

• Iris (8/5): Great location and clean appartment. - Fantastic location, you can see the colloseum from the window. The room just fits 4 people, and that's fine. Everything is really clean, there are more than enough towels and the shower is really nice. Also the communication with the host is fast and on point. The beds were not really comfortable, but that's just personal taste

• Raquel (9/5): - Lo mejor la ubicación. El apartamento está al lado del Coliseo y termite ir andando a todos los lugares más emblemáticos de la ciudad. Además en las proximidades hay una gran oferta de restaurantes. A pesar de no ser muy grande dispone de todas las comodidades con zona de cocina con todos los utensilios, aire acondicionado y wifi que funcionan genial, cosa que es de agradecer. No dispone de ascensor y al tratarse de un edificio antiguo las escaleras son muy empinadas lo que dificulta bastante subir el equipaje si vas muy cargado , de lo contrario no supone ningún problema siempre y cuando no tengas dificultadas físicas.

• Richard (10/5): Wonderful apartment room close to the collessium, with much space and comfort and pleasant hosts. - I love the location just 500 meters from the collessium. The neighborhood is amazing. Next to the Forum and many nice restaurants. The room was doubles the size of a hotel room and with a nice style and atmosphere. I could cook my own breakfast too.

• Shirley (10/5): Exceptional - The manager Samantha was incredibly helpful! Unfortunately my wallet got stolen on the subway, along with some very important travel documents. Samantha helped us print all the necessary documents for us to re-apply at the consulate and gave us a lot of helpful information for the area. We got our temp travel docs so smoothly because of her help!
• Smith (10/5): Perfection - The property is based in a perfect area, it is very central to things around it. The room it’s self was very big and very clean, I will definitely book again Potentially would’ve been better if we could’ve checked in a little earlier as we had an early flight so were with our luggage in the morning. But that was our fault really and wasn’t a big issue at all!
• Smith (9/5): Superb - Location location location! Shower doesn't drain well causing a water backup and mildew in the shower. Not a problem if you lower the water pressure a lot, but took me awhile to figure that out so it's okay!
• Anna (10/5): Absolutely satisfied and would come back there again - Perfect location, 1 min walk to Colosseum and metro. Modern and authentic design, everything clean and not damaged. Apartment has all necessary things, including kitchen staff in case you want to cook, hairdryer and washing liquids in the bathroom, Netflix and other applications on TV. Owners were very helpful and let us check-in earlier as we were with kids. Nothing, everything was good. Maybe just that building is a bit too old, but in you won’t find new buildings in the centre of Rome.

• Cara (8/5): Ideal location. Had a great stay. Would highly recommend. - Excellent location. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Good communication. Very helpful. Maybe some additional pillows would help with comfort.
• Scott (9/5): Perfectly located apartment with all required facilities. - Perfect location, comfortable with all required amenities. Top of building so you just need to navigate 2 flights of stairs. Good tv facilities if you want to log in to your own netflix etc. Restaurants just at end of road for breakfast/dinner. Plus the amazing view of the colosseum. Contact with hosts was via whatsapp and always available for any queries. Access controlled by webpage initially. Make sure you have good signal. Took us a while to get in once signal established. Door to room sometime needed code entered a few times before it opened but otherwise, that was the only ‘fault’. Room was perfect.

The whole apartment was so clean and I love the woodwork and style. it was well air-conditioned the quality of the bedding and sofa and the design of the bathroom was nice and lovely. There was lots of space in the apartment and I will definitely recommend this place to people that I meet on my friends and family. It was right by the colour and literally see it outside the window and it was absolutely beautiful mind blowing and felt like I was in a dream. I know it sounds really crazy, but it’s actually true and I really loved it. I can’t say anything bad about this property?

• Paul (1/5): They kept my security deposit for a mark on the radiator not caused by my family. Very disappointed. - They retained my EUR150 security deposit for a mark on the radiator which was not caused by my family. Their words: "bathroom radiator irreparably stained". Very disappointed.

• Tomasz (1/5): Outragous unwilingness of the host to deal with non-functional bathroom! - Location was really good, walking distance to everywhere. When we checked in, it turned out that the sewage is clogged and we cannot use bathroom or shower. Not to mention we were after a full city day with 2 kids <12y. We immediately contacted the owner, but they refused to act on it until the day after (it was a 2 night stay, so half was without bathroom). Booking customer support was useless- couldnt get anything done, and the host stopped responding, not giving any suggestion how to fix, or let us use a different location. The expereince was horrible! Needed to go to the nearby restaurant to use the bathroom at 10pm, not to mention we could not use the shower after an entire day of walking. The worst experience ever in any of our stays- the indifference of the host was staggering! Moreover the host refuses to compensate Anything due to this circumstances! saying that the issue was fixed throughout our stay..

Close to Colosseum, walking distance to all Rome’s main tourist attractions. Easy communication with the host Samantha. Highly recommended. Could do with a little broom and a spade. Was travelling with kids and it can get messy at times :)

• Neil (9/5): Great location to explore Rome in comfort at a reasonable price for handsome accommodations - Chic, nicely appointed, spacious suite with excellent air conditioning and a comfortable bed in a superb location for exploring central Rome by foot or transit. We had a few unexpected hurdles with an extra security deposit not mentioned and forms which were challenging to execute with little cell signal while en route, but the property was fairly helpful and no fuss once we got there. No shower shelf and variable water temperature in shower, had to clear drain trap as it wasn’t draining.
• Satyashil (4/5): Excellent location, Property and facilities not so much. Will not stay again - Location was a great plus for this property, right next to Colosseum. Apartment was clean and provided most facilities except Iron. Everything else did not meet our expectations. The ad on booking does not mention some key things like the apartment is on second floor with no lift, no garbage collection etc. The ad does not mention the apartment is on 2nd floor and there is no lift. So if you are travelling with big luggage you will have to carry it 2 floors. We were a family of 4 travelling to Rome for the first time and I had a lot of luggage which I had to carry 2 floors up. No Iron provided and when asked the host says they don't provide it for security reasons, which does not make sense at all. They expect guests who are travelling to carry their own Iron. Ridiculous! Overall the apartment was OK, location was amazing, the host was responsive but not very helpful. Need to throw the trash about 15 mins away from the property. Again not mentioned in the ad. The people managing the property needs to take 101 course on short term rental management. I will not stay again at this property.

The staff were very attentive when asked a question via whats app. The location is amazing, just a 2 minute stroll away from the colosseum and 15 minute walk from Trevi fountain. Lots of restaurants a stones throw away from our room.

• D. (10/5): Exceptional - We have just had our second stay at Maison del Colosseo. The location is perfect - a two minute walk to Colosseum and Colosseo subway station, tons of shops, restaurants, and places of interest. The Termini train station is only two subway stops away. This studio apartment is lovely and clean. Friendly staff respond very quickly to any questions or issues. We will definitely book again if ever back in Rome. There are two flights of stairs to climb and no elevator. We didn't mind that too much, but some might. The bed is a little on the firm side, but not uncomfortable. A full length mirror would be a nice addition.

Will definitely recommend this apartment to friends. The apartment could really use a full length mirror. Also, instructions on how to use items would have been nice. Couldn't figure out how to use the towel warmer. Some dish cloths and dish towels would have been appreciated.

• Mattia (4/5): Too expensive for what it is - The location and the silence The place was very poor in terms of extra services: no coffee, no water, no soap, complicated A/C too strong. cold water in the shower after 4 min :(. We were 15 mins late for the checkout and we clearly got nearly kicked out of the place with a clear lack of respect. It is too bad that there is not a bit of flexibility especially for that amount.
