Guest Reviews
- Alex (7/5): - Staff Separate bathroom
- Grant (7/5): Cheap and clean in centre of town. Shared kitchen, lounge, toilets and showers. Nice linen & shower - i loved the sheets, linen and towels. Fantastic location. Shared bathroom was inconvenient but the shower and products in there were fantastic. The food downstairs was great. Cheap coil sprung mattress. Shared facilities make it cheaper but is an inconvenience. Share lounge/tv, bathroom, toilet and kitchen. One shower had a broken lock on the door so could not be secured. Feels more like a rooming house.

- Lubega (2/5): - Good location

- Pauline (7/5): Great location, adequate and comfortable for overnight stay. - No breakfast on offer. Tea and coffee available in room No breakfast options
- Zandile (9/5): Affordable, cosy and comfortable! - The hotel is situuated in the middle of the city- easy access to shopping complexes, restaurants etc I humbly request the hotel to fix one of the locks of the bathrooms. There are two bathrooms and one the bathroom locks is broken. Everyone uses the one with a lock.
- Lorraine (9/5): - Basic inexpensive rooms with shared bathrooms above a bistro. Comfortable safe rooms with no noise from downstairs and you get 10% off meals and drinks. I was happy with everything
- Karl (5/5): - Accommodation itself was simple and clean, all we needed for an overnight stay. Loud music from a nearby nightclub went until 2am, and made it impossible to sleep.
- Mikayla (8/5): - Clean, tidy and prefect for a cheap night away
- Surendra (9/5): A convenient and budget-friendly stay in Warragul with good transport access and nearby essentials, best suited for shor - Great location with everything within walking distance, including KFC, Aldi, Woolworths, bus stops, Thai restaurants, and the train station. Easy access to V/Line services makes it convenient for travel to Traralgon and other nearby stations. The restaurant on the ground floor is very convenient, and the Sunday happy hour with around 50% off drinks was excellent value. Overall, it’s a good economical option for a weekend stay or short trip. The surrounding area can feel quite quiet as it’s a regional location, and it’s a bit far from large shopping centres and major city-style amenities. For longer stays, it may feel somewhat limited or less engaging. The property itself can also feel a bit basic in some areas, with occasional noise from other guests.

- Miriam (8/5): - Friendly and helpful check in and guided tour, everything clean, comfortable bed, handy basic kitchen with excellent fridge for storing your food. Old building obviously, so some quirky angles in the bathrooms but clean and functional, and great showers. Quite quiet despite being on a main road and nearby nightclub. Lighting a little low, especially bedside light not great for reading in bed. Ceiling light might be better a little brighter too.

- Kathleen (7/5): Basic cheap accommodation close to everything. Good for anyone travelling alone - Staying in a pub with shared facilities I was expecting more noise but was surprised at how quiet it was and how respectful others staying in the rooms were to not making noise Sink in room had drainage problems so water took ages to go down and was pooling
- Gillian (10/5): -
- Ian (5/5): It was okay - The room was small but comfortable & consistent with info provided The hand basin was blocked so couldn’t use for a shave
In the bistro the entree & main course was served at same time which was frustrating
But the food was excellent quality
To be honest laughed about the problems & it was fine
When I booked it was the only room available in Warragul due to farm week
Thought the numerous staff members I met were excellent
- Paula (10/5): - The place was close to everything i needed and loved the bed , staff was amazing I wish i had my own bathroom but it was safe with locks and privacy
- Zandile (10/5): convenient location comfortable and quiet hotel - The location of the hotel is at the centre of the shopping centres 3 minutes walk from the hotel to the train station.
I didn't have time to order the meals at the hotel due to my work schedule.
- DeStefano (1/5): - Nothing Everything

- Karen (7/5): Pleasantly surprised. Can’t beat the value & cleanliness of the accommodation at Club Hotel Warragul👍 - Was visiting Warragul for a night out with friends. Only wanted a clean, comfy bed (which it was). Even though it’s shared bathroom they were very clean, shampoo/bath wash was available from a pump bottle👍, towel provided fresh smelling & white (clean). I was lucky my room was right next to the toilet & shower room.
One toilet is marked female so it was super clean (no men missing the bowl)👍
Accommodation area freshly painted & looks like new carpet has been recently layed👍
Easy to go downstairs to Bar & Bistro for food/drinks. Added bonus is 10% off drinks at bar, when key tag is presented👍
Breakfast/Dinner prep facilities in accommodation area. Toaster, microwave, fridge, cutlery & plates.
Great country pub accommodation. I would certainly return. No issues
- Amelia (3/5): Dirty sheets not changed even as a cheap stay that’s not okay - Nothing It was very dirty, the sheets had stains on them and clearly had not been changed no aircon which is fine but at least open the room for a bit before guests arrive it was stiflingly hot there were no locks on the showers but a sign saying if you want privacy lock the bathroom door meaning no one else can use the facilities at the same time
- Gillian (3/5): -
- Chiling (7/5): Not bad - The basic facilities just I need The noise from outside exhaust pipe of neighbors
- Mr Sirius (10/5): -
- Dale (7/5): -
- Georga (8/5): -
- Grace (6/5): Short overnight with easy access and reasonable ammenities. - Easy to access and the explanation on how to get in after hours was super helpful. The bed felt like sleeping on a wooden box and the doors only stay closed if you lock them.
- Jacob (10/5): -
- Adam (6/5): i have stayed here before and it was ok - i was only staying over night due to work so i didnt have the breakfast
i did have a meal downstairs for tea and it was excellent
cooked spot on and the meal was huge just the beds were a ltl small
- Tom (8/5): -
- Joel Edmundo (10/5): Muy acogedor y bien ubicado, cerca a todo. Gran trato!
- Jonathan (3/5): -
- Gillian (1/5): Staff were disgustingly disrespectful - Location was good The lock on the windows did not lock the stairs wells and hallway smelt like mice and mold. The staff were very rude and disrespectful
- Gillian (1/5): - Disrespectful staff there was a smell like mice and no TV in rooms discusting and I want a full refund
- Tayah (10/5): - The Place was Perfect the Staff we extremely friendly and attentive and The Room was absolutely what I needed Only down fall the shared bathroom when someone uses it for more than half hour
- STEVEN (8/5): -
- Mary Ann (8/5): -
- Margaret (7/5): The extra single toilet in the accom section really needs either a good clean or an update - Convient location Car park was a bit concerning (broken glass from windscreen in carpark)
- Ivan (7/5): Clean and friendly - Online No air con . Very bright lights on the building near window.
- Mark James (10/5): A great place to stay a night or two! - I loved the traditional Australian hotel feel! My room was fresh, clean and very comfortable.
- Pye (3/5): Absolute rip off. - The pub Business hour access to accommodation was through what felt like a closet door to the stairs. After hours access to accommodation was a back ally rotten timber staircase that was dangerously slippery when it rained. Even witnessed a lady slip down the last 5 steps to the dodgy smokers area for staff. This area had Dog feces dotted around it. The rooms were very low level backpackers with The mattress only about 5 in off the ground. Junkies with dogs living in a room and one I could only describe as a prostitute with men coming and going all night. Shared bathrooms without even locks on the doors and a shared kitchen. I wouldn't even pay half the cost to stay again.
- bruce (3/5): - At check in I requested a room on the side of the building due to the traffic noise I experienced during my stay in the previous week, the staff member checking me in was not said, I don`t know the room numbers position in the building but then incorrectly issued me with a room at the front noisy side of the building, he could have checked with another staff member or simply walk upstairs to check the room numbers but he simply couldnt be bothered, very poor service!!!

- Howard Rowlands (8/5): Surprisingly good 👍 - Staff were very helpful and the hotel itself was above the club and restaurant. Meals were great and everything was spotlessley clean. I wasn't expecting much as it was the last available room which was cheap but there was no air conditioning in my room or TV or toilet so it meant a bit of a walk to the shared shower toilet etc. but I'd definitely stay there again.
- phillip (8/5): Was convenient - My car broke down it was cheap Just a old pub

- Nap (10/5): Staff are amazing - Absolutely incredible staff
- Pauline (8/5): All that's necessary - Comfortable room very well located to the railway station and shops Not keen on unisex bathroom facilities. However, fine in quiet times
- D'cruz (3/5): - NA Sharing bathroom and the single bed too small.
The noise level outside the door can be heard.

- Sasee_65 (9/5): Club Hotel Warragul - Location and ease of booking. Probably the size of the room. It was a little small.
- Caroline (7/5): -
- Elise (8/5): -
- Elise (9/5): -
- ferrara (5/5): adequate - it was what we paid for it was what we paid for
- Dazzla (2/5): It pays to spend more to get a nicer accommodation away from noise and drunk people. - Staff were good, pub meal was great and location was great. Very old rooms, domestic violence in room next to me, 1 person was ejected only to yell profanities at 2:30am from the street to his partner in her room.
People yelling and screaming fighting out in the street after leaving hotel 10:30pm.
Shared bathrooms and showers, most were out of order.
- Shane (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Scott (8/5): -
- Darcy (7/5): -
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Taylah (5/5): Passable -
- Logan (1/5): Don't stay here - The location was good I liked nothing about the place. I think the building is about 200 years old and the beds were second hand when the building was new and I have not been replaced. it needed fumigation. Easily the worst place I have ever stayed at and I have traveled to third world countries quite a bit
- Sammie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Callum (8/5): Very good -
- Stewart (10/5): Perfect for a solo traveller that doesn't need all the creature comforts on hand. - The room was small but perfect for a single person.
The bathroom and toilet down the hall were clean and well maintained
