- Kim (7/5): Could be better - Decent location that is walkable to town though visitors should know that it is a steep uphill walk back. The rooms were clean and having access to a washer and dryer was a huge bonus. It wasn't clear from the description that the rental rooms were a part of the owner's home. This made it feel like you were staying over at someone's house. Also, the sign on the house was not Marissa's guest house, so we weren't sure that we were at the right place and we felt like we were entering a stranger's home. We were given the wrong phone number so communication before arrival was unclear. The shower knob in one of the rooms was very loose and would fall off spraying water across the bathroom. This plus a few other similar details made it less than ideal. Cleanliness is most important(and it was clean) which is why I didn't rate it too poorly, but visitors should know the other aspects.
