Was mich sehr geärgert hat, dass wir, obwohl wir ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage gebucht hatten, die Fernbedienung dafür erst gegen einen zusätzlichen Aufpreis von 5 € bekommen haben, der auch nicht quittiert wird, sondern von der Unterkunft steuerfrei eingestrichen wird. Das ist echt Abzocke und hat einen sehr negativen Beigeschmack hinterlassen.

- Becky (8/5): Beautiful new suites at established hotel with a few issues that need to be worked on - The suite was beautiful and spacious. The area is right next to the freeway, but surprisingly quiet. The reception ladies very welcoming. The suites are brand new and very clean The shades in the room didn’t keep out the sun. The shower sprayed into bathroom area even after trying to be careful. We were supposed to be able to use laundry facilities but the older gentleman at the reception desk was not as accommodating. Did not realize the laundry was actually the hotel laundry so had to work around housekeeping. We ended up not doing it. It is not in the suite rooms as it might appear on the hotel description

Listing had a washer and dryer. No washer and dryer in room or available for use. I think the listing was very stingy for not including air in the room, they actually took the remote out of the room for the mini split. Free breakfast listed on Google maps advertisement where booking.com link was but no free breakfast with room, breakfast $18. No coffee maker in room or hot water kettle. Pay attention to booking when using this hotel. They are pinching pennies here. Pl Staff were not friendly.

- Sullyvan (7/5): Nice small hotel with great location but expensive breakfast - The Hotel is really close to the highway but the quality of the windows is avoiding us to hear noise from the highway. The Hotel is situated a walking distance from a theater and from a restaurant. No Parking fees which is really nice. The Room was really cold on the first day, the heating system was not turn on and in the winter period, it is not really nice. The breakfast is not really with a lot of choice and for 18 euros per day, it is quite expensive.

The property is almost adjacent to the highway and this creates some acoustic noise if you would like to spend some time outdoors. However, building insulation is effective and there are no noise issues inside the room.
- Jbrown1186 (10/5): Lovely rooms close to the AFB - The bed was very comfortable and the blankets warm. We travelled in February. The location is great for anyone temporarily visiting Ramstien AFB. Quiet room. McDonald's is open late close by, in case you miss the hotel dining hours. Complementary Haruno gummies and 1litre of water is a nice touch. The shower was small with the 2 sliding door design in a corner. This means water escapes onto the floor.

Rooms were small, but had all necessary amenities with an added bonus of mini-fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not necessarily a negative, but the restaurant was so popular I had trouble finding parking arriving at dinner time. After the rush, parking went back to normal

I’m not sure why but there was a sewer smell outside our exterior room for both days we were there.

- Anthony (7/5): Good - Loved the hotel location - and the staff are superb. On site restaurant is very good and suited our requirements perfectly. We had a problem with the heating in our room - it was on and couldn't be switched off on what was a very warm evening, but this was quickly resolved very efficiently by the staff on duty. Breakfast - we went for breakfast around 8.00am and there was a very limited availability of food, especially hot food. The hot food, such as scrambled eggs, were being topped up very sporadically which wasn't ideal. This was the total opposite of our previous visit to the hotel. But we would still stay here again.

Bring your laudry and they will take you and unlock but have to come back and not stay. Comfortable rooms and cool breeze at night in September. Close for services at 7pm each eveing. Closed Sunday for food and service. Airconditioning 5 Euro a day but have to ask, Ask at desk. Our air conditioning was broken so waited till Monday to get repaired.

- Igor (1/5): Bad - I paid for the room in the hotel on the 4th of May at 18:00 by PayPal. And I arrived to the hotel on the 4th of May at 22:00. But the angry and not very polite woman on reception said that they didn’t receive any payment from booking.com, and, despite I showed her the e-mail and my booking app (where that was clearly stated that the room is fully paid), the property rejected to accommodate me. A guy from booking.com's customer service called the hotel and notified them that the room, indeed, is fully paid, but the reception woman still rejected to accommodate me. Then she asked me to leave the building, closed the hotel down and went home. So, I had fully paid for my stay, but was kicked out by the administrator of the hotel. I requested booking.com to refund me my 105 EUR that I paid for that, but still did not receieve any particular response from booking.com. I think, if the Hotel Rosenhof decided to work via booking.com, they should either trust booking.com's in-app confirmations and e-mail or stop working via booking.com to don't confuse people like me (who expect a room to be provided when it's fully paid).

- Sonia (7/5): Good - Rooms are very clean. Proximity to highway. Cute setting. Polite staff. The window of our room was open upon check-in which caused a lot of discomfort during our stay (lots of mosquitos and spiders had crawled their way in). The lighting in the room could be better. We were called back about two hours after check-out for a "non-payment" due to one of the employees not confirming the credit card.

Charging extra for parking , wifi is ridiculous and no ventilation in room. No possible turn on and off ac without remote control and they not give this with room charge…you have to extra asking:( Nobody on the desk in evening time if you like to check in later, after 4 pm.

- Douglas (7/5): Room size is very small but we would probably stay there again. - Location is great for those accessing Ramstein AB. It is about a 20-30 min walk to the main gate or 12-15 Euros taxi ride to PAX terminal. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Ground floor access to all rooms. Bed was super comfortable! Rooms were VERY small compared to other hotels. It was so small that my wife and I had to take turns breathing (just joking). We could not figure out how to turn on the heat so we froze at night. Staff have limited hours at the desk so several times when we tried to contact them, they were gone.
