Alexander (1/5): Dangerously misrepresented — do not book if you expect even a minimum standard of hygiene, safety or value for money. - The location and views from a high floor are the only redeeming features. That’s all. Everything. The unit was in a state of serious disrepair, completely unlike the listing photos. The front door lock frame was crumbling and rusted. All furniture was deteriorated — veneer stripped off, raw chipboard exposed. The fridge emitted a strong odour making it unusable and unhealthy. Cockroaches were moving across the kitchen and inside the closets. The bathroom had mouldy grout and was poorly maintained throughout. Walls were scratched and stained. A broken wall hook had tissue stuffed into it. We were travelling with a toddler. The manager said he could not help. Booking.com offered a token reimbursement after reviewing our photos — less than one night’s cost — and the property denied any relocation or refund whatsoever. Seven nights in a non-refundable booking that bore no resemblance to what was advertised and paid for. The worst accommodation experience of our lives. Avoid at all costs.

Aoife (1/5): Do not recommend- serious health and safety issues - I will start with the positives. The location is excellent, and the gym and pool facilities are decent and well maintained. Check in was very easy. However, there are serious health and safety issues that outweigh these positives. There was black mould on the air-conditioning unit and in the bathroom, as well as rot under the kitchen sink. These are significant health hazards, not minor maintenance problems. The room also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, embedded in the furniture, despite being listed as non-smoking. The apartment was also dated and not as shown in the photos. While this was not the main issue, more accurate and updated photos would better reflect the true condition. The host is overseas and not directly contactable, and the on-site manager was rude and unhelpful. Communication was poor, promised call-backs and solutions never happened, and when shown the mould his response was simply, “it’s not a five-star hotel,” which was dismissive and inappropriate given the health concerns. We had booked for seven nights, but due to the above issues we only stayed the first night and left the next morning, as it was clearly not safe to remain in the property. I am an experienced traveller across both budget and higher-end accommodation. I do not expect perfection, but black mould, rot, smoke damage, and unprofessional management are unacceptable. I would not recommend this property at all.

We changed the hotel but didn’t receive a refund or even the option to change the dates, just to keep our luggage there while we planned to travel to another city for a few days. They advertised it as a 3 room apartment, but in reality it’s just 1 proper room with a toilet. I have no idea how they counted the other 2 rooms they were basically wooden boxes with just a bed inside. There’s no space at all. you open the door and you’re immediately on the bed. The place was not clean at all. We even had to clean the AC filter ourselves and it was completely black with dust. The toilet sink was clogged, and the water wouldn’t drain.

They took my laundry to wash it but we wanted to do wash it byself and many hours from holiday i used to contact owner for washing machine. Cleaning on the apartment is very poor. Contacted owner and sent me a cleaning guy and he just sprayed in toilet when the toilet chair was so disgusting and bathroom floor and window was very dirty also. Should fired that cleaning guy who means that bathroom was clean. Look my pictures

The suite room for perfect and the view from the location is awesome, We were able to view the KL tower and the Twin tower from our room. The check in procedure is automated, they just share the instruction, just follow the instruction for the check in. I requested for early check in and but they have not provided it, but thats okay. And I would recommend to keep some couple of water bottles in the hotel room

Nina (3/5): The owners desperately need to spend money to fix this apartment - The Robertson is a fantastic and secure location. The pool and the view is amazing. There are restaurants and convenience stores just outside the gates. The specific apartment we stayed in is not well maintained. There is a washing machine, but the tap that supplies water to the machine leaks a lot. It was not fitted well because it is bent at an odd angle. This issue has been happening for a long time because the shelf on top of the machine is extremely water damaged. The sheets to all the beds are low quality, and the main bed sheets had stains on it. The bathroom needs a lot of maintenance. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the pipe to drain the water leaked onto the bathroom floor. The edges to the shower screen is damaged and extremely mouldy. The bathroom sometimes smelled of sewage, and the smell went into the rooms. They supplied only one extra toilet paper roll for our family of 5 for our 3 night stay. There were no basics like hand wash or soap. The white bath mat they provided to enter the bathroom was dirty. The hand-held bidet was hard to use, and once the water came out, the pressure was too high. The 'second bedroom' was just a bunk bed placed in a large walk in wardrobe. My child fell through the lower bunk in the middle of the night on our first night. We later found out that it was because the slats were not secured into the frame and were slightly too short. The slats had holes for a screw to go in, but there were no screws on any of the slats. The couch had an ill-fitting couch cover on which could use a clean. Some walls and ceilings have water damage. Overall, the apartment need some serious work before they rent it out again. There is fantastic potential in this apartment. The owners desperately need to spend money to fix all the faults so that it is liveable.

Windows are soundproof so even during the day we can't hear the outside world. Lift takes a while. Had trouble finding the dumping area to throw garbage outside the apartment. Door doesn't have double locking. And would have preferred if they gave us 2 key cards.

Easy check in process and quite a comfortable apartment with all working amenities and clean bed sheets. Wifi was excellent. The bathroom needs thorough cleaning as the shower area requires the glass partition to be cleaned and wash basin requires drain unclogging. There should be atleast 2 access key cards.

The apartment was not to the standard, the air con was not cold, I even have to climb up uisng multiple furniture to reach the height of the air con & clean the air con mesh myself. The living conditions and attitude of service are t - Absolutely Nothing ‼️ 1) The staff did not reply to the message immediately. 2) The staff won't pick up the phone when something goes wrong. (Have to contact them on a different phone) 3) The apartment didn't match with the booking.com description. (Some of the rooms are connected, not as two separate rooms, but likely one room in a room.) 4) The flat was extremely unclean, with water leaks that made the cupboards smell bad. 5) The toilet door lock was broken, and although the staff had promised to fix it, it remained unfixed after three days of staying.
