Guest Reviews

- Kristin (9/5): - Great little spot right downtown Banff. Easy walk to everything downtown for a reasonable price.
- mcgregor (9/5): - Great location. Everything you need to be comfortable. We went to Banff to ski Sunshine in mid April. 20 mins to bottom of the gondola everything you need for spring skiing. 5 min walk to pubs and restaurants. Thought about this and I can't really think of anything
- Eva (10/5): The only place I'd consider in Banff! - The owners and staff are very kind people.
The cabin is incredibly cute and feels super authentic, and all that right in the heart of Banff town. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lovely linen. The cabin is clean and truly feels like home the second you step in the door. There's nothing not to love at this place.
- Robert (7/5): -
- Jana (10/5): Great location and space - Excellent location just a few blocks from Main St. Perfect size for several people, and it had everything we needed especially if you want to fix some meals at "home.". It was quiet at night.
- Nelson (10/5): -
- Lina Kremsdorf (10/5): If it's not Beaver Cabins, I'm not going to Banff! - We loved EVERYTHING! Having a little house with private parking in the heart of Banff - amazing! Literally the best place I stayed in after so many trips there!
- Oleksandr (10/5): -
- Katherine (10/5): - The location was excellent! A quick walk to downtown and transportation to the trails. The beds were super comfortable, and the cabin was well stocked.
- Eva (10/5): An authentic stay in the most beautiful area in the world. - Where do I start? This has been a dream come true. The cabin was amazing (I was in Fox Cabin). It was clean, warm and cute. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was there. I simply can't think of anything that was bad.
People need to note that these are very old cabins and that is exactly the charm of them! This feels like such an original place that has been part of the community for decades, and still has that cozy, classic feel. I much MUCH prefer this over a super luxurious modern building. At the Beaver Cabins, you really get to feel like a local.
The staff also absolutely went above and beyond, and were incredibly welcoming and kind. I had a slight accident and the staff took incredible care of me.
11/10 would recommend, and would go back in a heartbeat! Absolutely nothing. No notes. Perfect stay.
- Olivia (10/5): Coming from Australia i was worried the property would be cold. It wasn’t! It was cozy and of course, nothing beats the - Location, clean, cozy Nothing
- Eunyoung (8/5): - 욕실변기 , 화재경보기
- Pam (9/5): Enjoyed our stay. Such a convenient location, included a parking spot - Location Nothing
- Leanne (9/5): Spacious, historic, well maintained and equipped in a great location for easy access to Banff town and trails. - Location is fabulous for all of Banff's attractions. Free parking a great bonus. Spacious cabin, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. Lots of thoughtful extras. Beautiful family of mule deer visiting the garden was a bonus. One of the bedroom doors seemed to lock automatically once closed and we were worried about being locked in ( or out)
- Berry (9/5): - Comfortable and charming accommodation in a very centrally located setting. Katrin is a responsive host, who answered all our questions. Kitchen setup is basic but functional, with a plug in 2 burner hotplate. We were there during a warm period. The cottage got warm by day, but cooled off naturally at night.
- José M (8/5): - correcto
- Salvador (8/5): Buen alojamiento en Banff - Lugar céntrico cercano a lugares importantes facilidades de acceso y bien dotado para la estancia
- Christine (8/5): Fabulous location in the heart of Banff yet quiet. Comfortable clean and good value. - We liked the central but quiet location and the allocated parking space. 2 bedrooms were ideal for ourselves and grown up son as a lot of places had sofa bed in lounge. The property was cute and great value. The wiring/plug sockets were outdated and were limited and had to be careful to not overload the system!
- LeeW (9/5): Great location to central Banff. - Very quirky little cottage in a fabulous location to Banff Main Street. We stayed in the fox cabin, which had 2 small bedrooms (not a lot of room around beds) plus a small kitchenette. Definitely suited our needs for the 2 days. Maybe a little more room but as the cabins are quite old, we enjoyed the quirkiness.
- Verena (8/5): - Location The facilities listed a cooktop, it is just a plug in 2 burner electric cooktop, for some reason I expected a stove. Power points are a little scarce
- 良怡 (9/5): -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (10/5): Superb location is the middle of Banff. - The location was incredible. Banff is a key tourist hub in the Rockies. Parking can be a nightmare. The cabin has a designated parking. We just walked everywhere from it. It was a tad small but worked well for 3 of us.
- Tsung-chien (5/5): Passable - The location within walking distance to downtown Banff WiFi can’t connect most of the time when we (4 person) stay 3 nights.
Once connected the download upload speed was super slow we are forced to use our own data for all necessary Google search and social media connections.
- Yun-ching (9/5): Superb - the location The window in the kitchen was broken.
- Joshua (9/5): A gem in Banff! - Location and owner’s response were 10/10. The rooms were a bit small and the beds were too small and soft.
- Don (10/5): Exceptional - Owners are fantastic, best location in Banff, and Fox cabin was perfect for the two of us. Please don't book these cabins, I want them to be available next time I go to Banff.
- Nick (9/5): lovely cosy cabin stay in downtown Banff ♥️ - perfect location for main st Banff and towm, just a few streets away. everything provided for a comfy stay, dedicated parking space a massive plus as car parks are quite expensive in Banff.
basic and quite small living area , was fine for a 2 night stay family of 4, May be cramped for some people staying longer.
very very good value , would definitely recommend railway a bit noisy in the mornings
- Princess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melb (9/5): Lovely little place very comfortable. - It was cozy and comfortable I was a bit concerned about the power point in the bedroom the cords kept falling out.
- Mujtaba (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zhengwen (6/5): The property should be good without the smell. - The cabin is a historical building and location is great. the price is reasonable too. There is strong smell in the house, mainly in the living room/kitchen. the smell may be from previous renter's pets (cat litters). We needed to close the bedrooms door to avoid that smell, although we could still smell it inside the bedrooms. That was totally unexpected issue.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - It was central & cosy
- Yan (6/5): Pleasant -
- George (9/5): Great value for money and would not hesitate to stay there again . - We did not realise that it was of significant historical value in Banff . We thought it was rather small but its location in the centre of Banff was fantastic . Nothing
- Tyler (10/5): Would absolutely stay here again! - The location was incredible, so close to Banff Avenue. Bedrooms were a nice size and kitchen had everything we needed. Free parking so close to downtown, hot water in the shower, and cute areas outside to sit.
- Katherine (9/5): Very nice, homey place to stay in Banff - Great location right across the street from the main downtown area, 1 block walk to restaurants and shops. The owner was super helpful and kind. We had a great stay.
- Rodney (9/5): Superb -
- 玲瑄 (8/5): If you are looking for a place with great location and reasonable price, this is it - Location is fabulous
Kitchen amenities are sufficient Toilet flushing is a bit loose and we have to watch out if the water is leaking
- Ward (9/5): Great stay in the centre of Banff - The location was excellent Nothing
- Barratt (8/5): Very good - Atmosphere and location. Plumbing issues - toilet did not work.
Had to take all rubbish put and no hin on premises.
- Vy (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Location tithe main street
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trevor (10/5): Staff were very helpful with the check/in. Property was only a very short walk to Downtown Banff. Private Patking st - Quaint and a period cabin. Nothing, I was quite comfortable there.
- Ricardo (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, however it was really quiet.
