- Tom (10/5): - This place is incredible, a real oasis especially before or after a flight with its proximity being just 25 minutes from the airport but fortunately you don’t get any noise from planes. The lady running the place is incredibly kind and really goes above and beyond to make sure the guests feel comfortable and happy. You can tell she really cares about guests experience. Their food is delicious and a lot of it directly from their garden, they also have stunning grounds you can explore with animals, an allotment and pool. Probably one of nicest places we’ve stayed so far.

Lush gardens featuring fruit trees, vegetables, and herbs used in preparing an excellent breakfast and the best dinner I had in Ecuador. I ordered it 2 nights in a row. Clean pool, hot shower, very comfortable room, and common areas with antiques. Quiet countryside feeling, but close to Quito airport. Family owned and operated, including dogs and chickens. Good wifi. Airport taxis arranged for me. I really enjoyed my time there.

- Stuart (9/5): Ideal stay for a different side of Quito & great food! - The grounds are lovely and the room was very comfortable. We also had dinner and it was excellent, and the dining room was full of quirky decor and we had it to ourselves so it felt special. Dogs roam the property and they were friendly and cute but they did bark in the night and also had left mess overnight which I stood in :(
- Gemma (10/5): Stay here! - Everything about this place is great! Louisa the owner is so friendly, helpful and excellent communication. Restaurant staff lovely, room was comfortable and super clean, dogs are absolutely adorable! Gardens and surrounds are so nice!!! To top it off, my dinner I had here was honestl hat quality. It was so delicious, best meal I’ve had by far in my three months in South America. Produce is all from their gardens. Only downside was that I didn’t spend longer here Nothing.

- Florine (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful oasis for dog lovers - Absolutely beautiful property! Sooo much space and everything was so well maintained with the gardener seemingly working around the clock to keep everything beautiful. This property is an oasis 20-30 minutes away from Quito airport and one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been to. There’s a gorgeous pool, some ponds, hammocks, tons of space to walk around, a football and basketball court and areas to sit and hang out at. This place is also a paradise for dog lovers - they have 3 beautiful and sweet dogs that will love to hang around you all the time and accompany you where ever you go on the property. They’re incredibly sweet. The service has been phenomenal. I can’t remember the young lady’s name but she’s been extremely kind and took hospitality to the next level. She made sure that I could enjoy my stay to the fullest, helped me with everything I could ask for and was great to talk to (I was a solo traveler). She also speaks excellent English! Last but not least, the food was to die for! It felt like I was eating at a Michelin star restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and pretty much all of their fruits and vegetables come from their own garden. Highly recommend the tenderloin and shrimp casserole. They also make excellent fresh juices with exotic fruits to die for. The prices are incredibly affordable (for people from North America and most European places) and you get impressive quality for the price. The breakfast that’s included topped everything - homemade yucca bread, fresh juice, coffee and scrambled eggs. They even had amaranth milk since I don’t drink dairy milk. The rooms were clean, the bathroom has a nice shower with hot water and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will most definitely be back for a longer stay at this peaceful Oasis. Thanks for everything, it was lovely :) Nothing, it was perfection!

- Katie (10/5): - This hotel is beautiful. There is a large garden for wandering, a pool, a soccer field, basketball court, a small playground, and hammocks to relax. The owner is local and super friendly, helpful, and speaks English very well. They set us up with a great driver as well. It is about 15-20 min from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The hot water was delightful. The breakfast was delicious! No complaints!

We booked this hotel because it was closer to the airport than Quito. However, it is worth staying at for more than just overnight because it is so relaxing. - Carmen (10/5): Lovely stay near Quito! - It’s a beautiful property with 3 lovely dogs who love to hang around the guests. It has big grounds, a swimming pool and lots of seating spaces. The food was incredible (both breakfast and dinner)! The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. We stayed here for 1 night to be closer to the airport for our flight out, but wish we could’ve stayed longer! If you’re not a big fan of dogs, then this property might not be your best option. They followed us everywhere, which we loved, but be aware if you don’t!
- Sharon (9/5): Delightful overnight layover near the airport - The whole property is beautiful. It’s a 20 min drive from the airport. The pickup and drop off service is very convenient. Dinner is freshly cooked and delicious. We left very early for our flight so the owner packed us a delightful breakfast box. There are 3 dogs that are very friendly and quiet during the day but something made them bark through the night right out of our window. We could barely sleep that night :-(. I’m sure if we mentioned it before hand, the owner could have kept the dogs elsewhere.

- Brenda (9/5): Oasis of serenity close to Quito airport - This is the second time we’ve stayed at this lovely property. It is about a 20 minute ride from the airport. It is very serene, has nicely appointed rooms and comfortable beds with heavy blankets. The host Luisa is charming. The grounds are large and beautiful. Two 4 yr old sheepdogs are very friendly and calm.

It is very quiet with lots of outdoor space to explore and rest in - perfect for a calm day before or after long travels. The included breakfast was delicious, with homemade ingredients from the garden nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and warm. Shower was nice and hot. There is wifi throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces, making it a great teleworking space too! The staff helped set up transportation to/from the airport and the pickup was smooth.

- Susana (5/5): Passable - I did not like the fact that when they reached out to find out between the time of my arrival, they told me I had to make sure I get there with a full stomach as they would not be able to serve dinner, if i wanted because they had an event and when I got there, I saw no one....Second, when I got there and went to the reception to pay for the night as I was leaving at 3 a.m. they mentioned that they had a driver ready for my pick up and take me to the airport, they forgot to mention that it was not included on the rate and at the airport I had to scramble when the driver dropped me off and asked me to pay him, I don't carry cash with me for safety reasons, I manage it all via transfers, debit cards and/or credit cards....More clarity on their part would have been a smoother stay...

Our meal was excellent— one of the very best in our five weeks of travel in South America. Beautiful grounds too. By road it’s not as close to the airport as I expected— about a half hour drive in traffic. However, we had a 6 am flight and the drive at 3:15 am took only 15 minutes.

The loveliest room with the most comfortable bed I have had in 6 weeks of travelling. Luisa the owner is so kind and helpful. Her husband is the chef and the breakfast & dinner were delicious and beautifully presented. A lovely end to my long trip and calm before a late flight. A little bit remote, if you were wanting something closer to the airport or other activities, but it wasn’t needed for my stay.

The breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit from their orchards. Luisa, the ownee, lived in California for a year and speaks English well . Everything was great.
- Koshland (10/5): Outstanding hospitality and Gorgeous units - The entire setting is wonderful; the owners/ hosts are beyond incredible! Husband had an emergency need for an emergency root canal! They made six extra trips to Quito and back so he could get extra attention and new appointments! We will be forever in their debt for being so caring and going to such lengths !!!!! They both are so incredibly gracious and attentive to details! Nothing could have been better! They were the best hosts anyone could ever expect! We loved our stay!

We arrived during the power outage so there was no electricity which wasn't the hosts fault at all but it meant we couldn't get dinner or breakfast. They did message us in advance though which was useful.

- Barbara (8/5): Would recommend for a stay in a local style Finca - Beautiful grounds. Great breakfast. Friendly efficient staff and a lovely family. The current power outages which are beyond their control meant that no dinner service was available and we were in the dark from around 6:30pm. This detracted from our stay and it was also raining heavily at that time so nothing for it but an early night. It would have been useful if torches had been provided
- Rose (9/5): Superb - The hostel was a perfect place for us to spend the day/night with our two young kids, and recover and rest after arriving from London early in the morning and flying out to Galápagos the following morning. The gardens and pool were beautiful, lots of trees and grass for the kids to play on (even a little playground). Delicious food served on site. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend 100%. It was a little further from the airport than I had originally thought, but only about 25 mins, so no big deal really.

- Kim (10/5): Highly recommend - and not just for the proximity to the airport - I choose this location because it was close to the airport, but I think that there is much more to offer here than just airport location. The grounds and facilities on this family-owed property were beautiful and the Hostess was always available and helpful - communication was perfect even before I arrived. She was so hospitable and gave me a tour of the gardens on the property. Breakfast was very plentiful - I couldn't eat it all! And much of the produce comes from the hotel's kitchen garden. My taxi driver hired by the hotel was the best and really was helpful when I had a banking issue. He also was able to show me the sights and local food of the village. I had a nice stay and would recommend this hotel. The only thing that would have made the room a full five - star would be to include a few amenities that a western travel is accustom to. For example, the room did not have a luggage rack and there was no place to easily open my suitcase. Having a teakettle for tea or coffee in the room would have also been nice. Lastly, the room I was in had a window in the door that did not have a curtain - having a way to cover this would have made me feel more secure, especially when walking out of the shower.

We had an amazing breakfast with all home made delicious food. They called a taxi for us and we continued on to the Galapagos. I would definitely stay again! It is about a 20 minute drive from the airport but there was not much traffic.

David is an excellent chef! I enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool. The furniture and decor in the room are traditional and very charming! The setting in beautiful— spacious grassy areas with blooming flowers, trees and bushes. . . birds singing. . . very tranquil! The personal attention and friendliness of the host Luisa was really wonderful! We loved it! No complaints.
- Kathy (9/5): Charming rooms, lovely property and amazing meals; an amazing rural experience. - Our first night in ecuador and we were so grateful to be in a rural, peaceful area still within a quick drive to the airport. Our drinks around the pool and evening supper were fabulous with attentive staff and fresh from the garden ingredients, The sheepdog on the roof at arrival was fun - Clarence a guard dog. Dogs barked until midnight and takes some time for the hot water to reach the outbuilding rooms but that’s a small price to pay for a stay in this rural gem.

The Chef created an exquisite meal just as the kitchen was getting ready to close, and it was fantastic! Our stay was wonderful, start to finish. But if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest bringing ear plugs, as the sound proofing isn't quite what we're used to at home.
- Franklin (10/5): Excellent - 1. Food, delicately prepared food, not only breakfast but also lunch & dinner; 2. Environment, living in the hotel feels like in a big manor, you could relax in the grassland or right next to the pool 3. Animals, in the hotel there're many cute animals like dogs and they're really friendly and 'well-educated' 4. Staff & Service, the staff has been very nice and helpful and willing to help in terms of all aspects of There's seldom any flaws except the hotel is far away from Quito city, it's difficult to order takeout too
- Christophe (10/5): Exceptional - Great property, very well maintained and nicely decorated. Outstanding food and attention from staff! Location is not easy to reach. Better for traveller's with car. Transfer from airport is possible with a fee.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Beautiful grounds, very nice rooms with comfortable bed. The staff seem very professional and friendly. The directions using the booking app were not correct. The owner said she will contact booking to correct this. I would have a driver call the property for direction if your spanish is weak.
