• Imelda (8/5): - Loved the boat, beds were cosy and clean. Gros was very friendly when we met and left a phone number in case we needed to contact him. The area was quiet and peaceful. A 20 min train journey from Central Station plus a 10 min walk and it was a very different place from central Amsterdam. Kitchen facilities are compact and basic, a hob, kettle and fridge. No toaster, microwave or oven. If you want to cook it would be an issue. If you don't, this place is great.

• Shannon (9/5): Perfect stay for a family - The accommodation is lovely. Very homely and peaceful. It is also very easy walking distance to the rail station and we found it very easy to get to and from transport. It was lovely having two very cosy rooms that accommodated me and my son and a peaceful deck to sit out on. A very accommodating and welcoming host as well! It is a boat so the toilet and shower require plunging and draining. I was used to this having stayed many times on a narrow boat but my teenage son grumbled. The walk to and from the station in the dark can be a bit intimidating if you are staying on your own. It is a safe area but not well lit as you get closer to the boat. I would imagine though that it is unlikely someone would be staying on their own on the boat.

• Anneke (10/5): Perfect voor bezoek Amsterdam. - Gastvrije ontvangst, alles werd uitgelegd hoe t werkte op de boot. Auto stond veilig geparkeerd en voor ons was de locatie perfect voor de marathon van Amsterdam. We konden ook fietsen huren.

• Betzejünger (5/5): Für uns am Ende leider nicht das Richtige - Außerhalb von Amsterdam, kleiner Hafen für Sportboote und bissje Wassersport. Es gab ein paar Getränke und Snacks vom Besitzer - vielen Dank dafür. Parkplatz kostenfrei und direkt beim Liegeplatz. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in der Nähe. Für unseren Kurzaufenthalt passte das. Die kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war zu jeder zeit super und alles wurde korrekt Abgewickelt. Unmittelbare Umgebung (Landseite) Ungepflegt (Unkraut, aufgerissene Straße, Müll). Toilette in einem Holzverschlag "an Land" mit allerlei getier im Inneren. (Man soll nicht auf der Tiolette auf dem Boot sein "Großes Geschäft machen) Es war im Boot "Klamm", viele Spinnen, viel alter Staub (kommt wohl von der Naturnahen Umgebung) Naja, wer das Rustikale mag ist hier an der Richtigen Stelle - Für uns war es eine Erfahrung mit der Erkenntnis: Nächstes mal wieder Hotel mit Richtigem WC und Dusche.

• Michelle (8/5): Great stay, great location, great host! Perfect base for exploring Amsterdam! - The boat was lovely and clean and was in a great location for exploring Amsterdam. It is outside of the city centre so isn’t busy and noisy but is close enough to public transport which makes travelling to the centre really convenient and easy. Gros was very friendly and provided us with snacks and drinks on our first night. He took the time to explain the different parts of the boat and made sure we were all set for our break. The spiders! Not a fault of the property at all! It’s the downside of nature and living on a boat in the middle of the canal! My daughter was terrified so I had to put on my big girl pants and deal with the 8 legged creatures!

Se agradecía tener un baño extra afuera para uso de los barcos que estábamos en la marina. Por la lluvia y la condensación había goteras. También nos encontramos con algunas arañas.

Gros provided all the instruction we needed to know how to navigate operating everything on the boat. Beds and pillows were comfortable. This is a great way to experience Amsterdam!

We missed some more information that could be provided in arrivel, for example how to use the flush in the toillet or uncloght the shower. But we figure it out by message so all worked out!

It was quiet and relaxing on board, there's a restaurant right next door, the staff were very helpful and the location was close enough to the city but far enough away too. Not a negative point, just awareness. The toilet/shower facilities are not what a lot of people would be used to, but exactly what they have to be on a boat. It would not stop me booking this again.
