Guest Reviews
- Marina (10/5): -
- Angella (8/5): we still had a beautiful and relaxing stay and appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback - Thank you for a lovely weekend away. The location was absolutely superb — peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we were hoping for. The setting itself was a real highlight and created a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. I did want to provide some constructive feedback that may help further elevate the experience, particularly given the luxury positioning of the accommodation.
A few additional touches on arrival would make guests feel more welcomed and valued. For example, a bottle of local wine, a more substantial local produce platter rather than just a small cube of cheese and crackers, and a wider tea selection including herbal teas would enhance the experience significantly.
Communication with the owner was also a little challenging at times, which unfortunately meant I was unable to swap to our preferred “Nest” accommodation. Improved responsiveness and clearer communication would make the booking experience feel much smoother and more personalised.
Another lovely touch would have been arriving to the fire already lit for a 2pm check-in. Small gestures like this really help create that special luxury feel and leave a lasting impression.
Finally, the welcome signage could perhaps be updated from the current whiteboard style to something more refined, such as a chalkboard or professionally styled welcome display, to better align with the overall aesthetic and standard of the accommodation.

- Jordan (10/5): -
- John (9/5): A magnificent retreat with spectacular views - Absolutely magnificent setting and view.
- Karen (10/5): Favorite stay in Tasmania! - I think this was our favorite place we stayed at in Tasmania. Walking through the front door and looking out at the mountains in the back was stunning. The property is truly unique.
- Luke (8/5): We absolutely loved it - Brilliant place to stay, great location
- Bronwyn (10/5): Blissful escape! - Stayed at Eagles Nest 11 for a 2nd visit. The home is outstanding! Beautifully decorated with amazing views of Mt Roland. Everything you could possibly need is provided. It feels luxurious yet homely & comfortable.
Highly recommend choosing one of the Dream chef experiences. We had Nick & everything was delicious! ( Cynthia is also amazing)
The nearby town of Sheffield is easy to pick up provisions from & an interesting visit. N/A
- Jones (9/5): - Everything was wonderful. Views, privacy, scenery.. No extra towels, only the 2 towels (1 per person) and usual flannel. We used our towel for spa and shower.. Would have been nice to have 2 towels per person.
- Annette (9/5): Amazing accommodation to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. - Beautiful setting and amazing view of Mount Roland. Lovely decor and homey welcoming feel. Excellent amenities, including outdoor spa and laundry facilities. Generous snack and breakfast provisions. Everything was near perfect. Our only suggestions would be a choice of softer pillows, and blinds on the lounge windows.

- Samanthakuruvita (10/5): - The place was amazing! The perfect littl get away from the kids! Chef Cynthia was worth every dollar as well! Nothing,
- Helen (9/5): Peaceful and relaxing. - Fabulous views, with complete privacy. Good location. Great massage. Very comfy bed. Spa on the balcony. Helpful host. I like sleeping in a dark room, so for me, I would have liked blinds on the south facing windows.
- Rona (10/5): Amazing views from this Amazing house - Oh My Goodness, this house is jaw dropping, it is beautiful and interesting, the bedrooms were huge, two ensuited bedrooms were their own separate wings connected by enclosed breezeway to the main house. The beds were comfortable and the linens clean and excellent quality. Well appointed kitchen, great living areas. Continental breakfast supplies were lovely and some locally made cheese and crackers were supplied. If this wasn't enough, the views were absolutely amazing from every room in the house. I would definitely recommend staying here, but for more than one night to really take it all in. I will definitely stay here again when we visit Tasmania again. Absolutely nothing wrong with this place, it was perfect for our family, just needed longer than one night here to really enjoy the facilities.
- Karina (10/5): - Everything was just perfect, and the surroundings amazing. So peaceful at night, we truly loved it 😍

- Kevin (10/5): Revitalising stay with some some indulging inclusions - The view was amazing! The location was very secluded.
We had a massage each and had the private chef cook for us.
This was amazing experience that we wouldn’t normally do. Chef Nick was sensational and was great to have a chat and a wine with him while he cooked our meal. The outside spa bath probably could do with a cover on it when not in use as we had to give it clean before using.

- Wayne (10/5): Absolute enjoyment. Definitely recommend . - Very comfortable, stunning location. Outside spa was such a great experience. The private chef with Cynthia was exceptional .
- Nick (10/5): The Pinnacle in luxury countryside retreats. - From top to bottom everything at the nest has clearly been carefully curated to provide the pinnacle of cosy, secluded country retreats.
Also, the optional additions of the massage and private chef were well worth the very reasonable price tags. Both Helen (the massuese) and the chef (Nick) were incredibly professional and provided a level of service I have rarely encountered. Only fault I could really find was a lack of proper BBQ utensils. Its possible I missed them. But honestly, thats me racking my brain for something. Everything was perfect.
- Richard (10/5): Awesome -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - This was a very special stay. We stayed in the Loft, which has a magnificent view back over Mt Roland. It was quiet, tranquil and private, and the one bedroom apartment was tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything that we would need.
All communications were friendly and helpful, always giving that personal touch.
Thank you, we loved our stay. The Loft was perfect. There was nothing more we would ask for
- Suzanne (10/5): came for luxury, felt like home - EVERYTHING! There’s nothing not to like. The scenery is unmatched, the facilities are fantastic, the experience is pure luxury mixed with feeling right at home. It feels local, the breakfast provisions are delicious, the garden to pick from is beautiful, and the hosts are always a phone call away to help.
Couldn’t recommend this enough and can’t wait to be back - it lived up to all my expectations and then some and was truly the definition of heaven on earth!
- Kyron (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional retreat to forget the world - No words. The Eagles nest is the perfect place to be. The view is fantastic, the house is wonderful. The kids could go to the orchard and pick blueberries, Feed the chicken, Or cuddling with the with the cute rabbit. The outside bath is fantastic, and everything was available in the kitchen to cook some nice meals or do a great barbecue. Thanks a lot!
- Angelica (10/5): Exceptional - this place felt like a dream - Eagles Nest was beyond our expectations. We stayed in The Loft, which was incredibly spacious and had so many thoughtful touches - books, travel guides. The outdoor bath was the highlight, but so was having the massive property to explore and even a small lake. We spent our time soaking on the balcony, using the bbq for dinners and going on plenty of walks to see the sheep and cows across from us. Such a relaxing escape, we will definitely be back.
- Steven (10/5): For a special occasion or to impress better half nothing compares - Excellent is not enough to describe the overall experience.
- Gavin (9/5): Incredible location - The view of Mount Roland is breathtaking. The house is very spacious and in such a tranquil setting. Nothing
- Nicarlia (9/5): Incredible stay and memorable - What a stunning view. Super relaxing location away from the world on a farm. The view of the mountain is lovely. We will definitely be coming back. We had one night in nest 2 which was INCREDIBLE. The view was insane! The bath indoor and outdoor was breath taking.
We spent the next night in the loft and it was very comfortable and cute..it was great to have the kitchen and the lounge was super comfy. You can connect your laptop to the tv, super easy..it would have been perfect to have a dryer with the washer and some robes to go to the outdoor bath..but otherwise it was an incredible stay and so restful!
Sheree was absolutely lovely to talk with and so accommodating
- Melissa (8/5): Very good -
- Lijun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bartłomiej (10/5): Exceptional - warm, cozy and super comfortable stay
peaceful location and stunning view
electric adjustable mattress and electric heated blanket on the bed
lovely gift basket on arrival and breakfast ingredients provided in fridge. quite dusty
- Brody (6/5): Disappointing for the price. - Stunning views The address was incorrect on the confirmation email. Had the suburb as Sheffield but we soon realised it was actually West Kentish.
The heating was inadequate. Hard to get upstairs warm enough. The fire was mainly just aesthetics, didn’t provide much heat.
Could barely watch television as the wifi was so poor.
The wifi didn’t work outside so we couldn’t play any music in the spa which we would’ve loved to do (no phone reception so we couldn’t use our own date either)
When it was windy for the first 2 nights the duct in the bathroom above the shower would bang so loud we couldn’t sleep.
Then, on the last night the power went out and the bed got stuck in the upright position and the number to call didn’t answer or respond to my text message asking for help.
Hell of a lot of money for a pretty average experience.
- Acs (10/5): Stunning property that everyone deserves to stay at least once - Stunning property. You can’t find a better quality place to stay for its location and quality. Do yourself a favour and stay there
- Tanya (3/5): Felt like we drove a long way for a city apartment. - Couldn't see the view inside with the small windows and the breakfast was not worth the value.
- Holly (10/5): Beautiful serene stay - Loved the view, and the option to add massages and a private chef. They were a great surprise for my husband after a big hike at cradle mountain. Stunning location. Absolutely loved the outdoor bath spa and the goodies on arrival! A shame that the windows with the stunning view are so small and Mount Roland isn’t visible from the bed or the sofa. Can’t imagine that matters much during summer, but during winter it would be lovely to be able to enjoy more of that view as it’s definitely a huge selling point for the stay!
- Andrias (7/5): Good - Amazing view, generous breakfast supply, Floor was quite dusty, there was a leak in the front door. In the hallway to asia room the floor was wet, probably leaking from the rain. The Jaccuzi in the asia room was visibly dirty so we had to clean it up before using it.
- Joeanne (10/5): Exceptional - Everything There was nothing not to like
- Michelle (10/5): One of the most relaxing stays we've had, wish we had more time to book 2 nights, would have b - How easy Check on and check out was, how amazing the property was Would have liked the property to have a dryer and also a grater, but only nit picking as the property was amazing
- Kirah (9/5): Very relaxing, such a great memory to hold with the hubby and a beautiful place to be. - We loved the location!
Absolutely breathtaking, nothing better than heading out of the city into a peaceful beautiful relaxing place like what the loft had to offer. My husband and I were in complete Ore of the landscape and also loved the loft - it was very cozy, welcoming it had everything to offer The only thing we were turnt off with is when we turnt the jets on in the spa outside it made our bath filthy it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. I think attention to this needs to be better also under the couch was dirty also but that didn’t really bother me
- Sarah (10/5): A piece of paradise and good for the soul! -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yan (10/5): My family all enjoyed it a lot - Excellent impeccable view nothing
- James (10/5): Idyllic romantic get away - Excellent property for a romantic getaway. Beautiful views of Mount Roland. Lovely gift basket on arrival and breakfast provided in fridge. Pity the outdoor spa would not heat up, as I had hoped to have a spa bath on the beautiful deck. Kitchen facilities were less than expected. Couldn't find a frypan. Lol
Also, the water there is not drinkable, so would have been nice to have known that before hand. Luckily, I had bottled water with us. A 3litre bottle was provided in fridge, but I could drink that in an afternoon.
- Santhuka (10/5): One of the most Amazing views in Australia! - Amazing view!
Complementaries were so good!
Nice Location and Architecture!
Confortable and warm! - No exhaust fans in toilets, basic requirements
- outside tubs not cleaned
- tub buttons funtions need cheked
