• Horsy (10/5): Highly recommended. Low cost accommodation, comfortable beds, clean and inviting. - Lovely old hotel, very clean, friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere, a happening place. Live music in the pub, great facilities. Clean rooms and bathrooms. I couldn't say there's anything I didn't like.

• Sonja (3/5): Tack och lov stannade vi bara en natt. - Jag gillade läget, och personalen va trevlig. Det va mögel i rummet, de va konstiga gropar i sängen, samt konstiga fläckar på både bäddning och handdukar, däribland blodfläckar på filten. Det gick inte att låsa rummet ordentligt, eller badrummet heller. Det fanns inget varmvatten i duschen och lampan i toaletten funkade inte. Det luktade dessutom mycket cigarettrök i både rum och hall.

• Jennifer (3/5): - The food and the service in the bistro and bar was good, the laundry facilities were handy all though not very well maintained we had to clean all the lint out of the filters in the dryer before we could use it The room was very hot and the bed was quite uncomfortable, the bathroom was a shared bathroom which isn't ideal and it wasn't very clean

The room was terrible, the carpet smells bad and the bed is uncomfortable. I wasn't able to sleep, sink too dirty and unusable, no fridge, no air condition, share balcony with 5 rooms, share dripping share toilet, no hot water for the shared women's shower and 1 elec. output only.

• Darci (1/5): - The room was not clean yet it smelt so strongly of artificial floral scent it gave us a headache. The room was advertised as a balcony room but the balcony was shared and right next to the door to the common room, very noisy and not private at all. It was hot as there was no aircon but we had to have the blind down and windows shut just to get some privacy. On top of that the showers were filthy, water pressure was just a dribble and there was no hot water.
• Phillipa (7/5): Pleasant. Available at short notice. Would stay again if necessary. - It was clean, cheap, close to the centre of town, and I was able to check in quite late. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Being above a pub, it was quite noisy until late. I was able to sleep well with the aid of ear plugs.

• Chris (3/5): Where's the toilet paper? - Room was clean and bed was comfortable. No toilet paper in bathroom and no staff to ask for some. Very pissed off. Why don't they have extra rolls in bathroom for when they run out. I would never stay here again.

• CHAND (7/5): - The staff very helpful and the room was great . No noise after 10pm so we had a great night sleeping thanks to all. The price we paid for the night was very well worth spent . The only downside was there was no bar fridge in the room and the sink in the room needed to be removed.
• Rebecca (4/5): Cheap quick stay - The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel is great. And we had a kettle and coffee in our room. The pub downstairs was nice and the food looked great. For what you pay, the rooms could really do with some TLC. The rooms are very basic and very dated. The room needed a thorough clean, I think only the bed sheets were changed and the floor vacuumed. Everything else was dusty or stained. There was only one electrical socket. The windows do not block any noise from the balcony or the road below so don't expect a peaceful sleep. There are not enough shared bathrooms for the amount of people staying and these too were dated and not clean.

• Max (1/5): - Pictures say it for themselves. The sink in the room was awful and there was a hole above our head sleeping which felt weird. Noise was ridiculous. Door to a shared balcony wasn’t very secure and the worst thing about it, it cost over $100 for a night… id recommend don’t stop and keep driving

• Robbie (1/5): Horrible place! - Glorified dosshouse wouldn't recommend to a friend or foe. The staff did the basics. The bed was very hard. The room was small. The worst was the loud music playing all night. With ear plugs I could still hear it. No hot water in the showers.

Great bistro downstairs Poorly ventilated rooms , window didn’t stay open had to prop with kettle , no aircon and shared balcony so couldn’t let air in making it hard to sleep on a 30 degree night , would be ok on a cooler night. Male and female showers cold water only - okay for us but not for cooler nights.

The owners should know better and should not sell these rooms to customers. Even if its ranked 2 stars
• Lucy (4/5): pay the price for a nicer hotel - cheap, good location in city centre, fans in room worked well, bathroom was sufficiently clean everything in my room was dirty (sheets had stains, sink was falling apart and water came out brown initially, cup and mug in my room had clearly not been washed). was also unaware that when i booked a balcony room, it would be shared with multiple other rooms. when i checked in, was told to be careful of “undesirables” in the area which was both disrespectful and made me feel unsafe. as a solo female staying here, would not recommend as i didn’t feel totally safe throughout my stay. when i told locals where i was staying, they were all instantly disgusted.
