Me pueden creer que me han cobrado 20usd por esto!!! Fue un accidente, acaso les cuesta mucho limpiar una sábana y no entender lo que es caerse y no preocuparse de los huéspedes? Una VERGUENZA.

• Andrew (7/5): Great location (for me at least) and the hotel was basic but perfectly fine. - The hotel is in Zamalek, which will not suit everyone but it is my favourite neighbourhood in Cairo, so the location was perfect for me. The shower curtain was inadequate for the job and the bathroom got soaked every time we showered.

Alles was er en het was in orde maar basic hotel. De ingang ligt in een klein straatje wat een bij aankomst een beetje raar is maar het is zeer veilig Het is echt een basic hotel met een kleine badkamer. Gezien we weinig op onze kamer hebben gezeten en vooral de stad verkend hebben was dit best nog ok

La posizione è comodissima, in 20 minuti si arriva in centro (con il traffico del Cairo). -

El personal es amable y siempre muy servicial. No ofrecen desayuno, pero hay un café italiano a pocos metros que es una delicia. Perfecto para viajeros que buscan un pied-à-terre desde el que descubrir la ciudad.

The fact that they make you wait after checkout to check on the room condition for damages or loss is very annoying, humiliating and based on mistrust of the guest. I never seen any hotel doing this to their clients. Also, cleanliness of rooms is not the best. You always find hair everywhere from previous guests.

• Brandon (1/5): uncomfortable and weird. - The room was brightly lit. There was strange and unnecessary electronic devices attached to my TV. The wifi required a WhatsApp QR code scan, my internet would work for various websites but not for others. It was sus. They also called the police on me for smoking cannabis in my room. (that is the death penalty in Egypt, how would they even know what it smells like if they don't smoke it here). Thank God that the police did not arrest me. I do believe that the Police Should arrest Khaled Abdul Rahman. Less lies.
• Luis (8/5): A comfortable, convenient and well organised accommodation with helpful staff. - I stayed at Zamalek House Hotel on two separate occasions, having returned after being happy with the first time. The rooms were clean and confortable. Adequate size. The staff were friendly and one of the ladies at reception was kind enough to print something for me. Staff in the entry lobby were also polite and one even refused my tip after helping with the bags on the first occasion. The location is perfect, a few seconds away from a main road and only a few minutes from a secure ATM machine (inside a bank). I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and next time I visit Cairo this will be the first place I will consider for my stay. Thank you to all the staff. The shower was a bit cramped! But it worked well and I guess that's what really matters. The wifi was a intermitent at times, but not really a big issue for me. Because it is located in a busy area, it can get a bit noisy at night. Having said this, I was able to sleep well without any issues.

• Odette (4/5): Nice staff, but the hotel was not up to a 3 star standard - I am a Solo female traveller and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Firstly I just want to acknowledge the staff at this hotel are lovely and this reiveiw is not a reflection on the service they provided. I stayed in a single bed room, the pictures online were very deceptive and made the room look spacious, but I could hardly fit my suitcases through the door. The room was not only very small but it was also very cold inside (it was February and about 12 degrees outside but colder inside the room) even though the air conditioner was off. The hotel in general is noisy, I could here building work from outside, constant slamming of doors throughout the night and loud talking which was constant all throughout my stay. I did not have a good night's rest at this hotel, in the end I just booked another hotel for the rest of my stay in Egypt.

• Philip (8/5): Worth considering in Zamalek - Despite some negative reviews I quite like this place. The location in Zamalek is good - close to restaurants, shops and metro. While it is close to the main road, my room was generally quiet. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The lift worked. The room was clean, bed comfortable, water hot, wifi stable and TV had Al Jazeera English. It had a fridge and kettle. I thought it was good value. The bathroom was poorly designed. Despite the curtain, shower water spread across the bathroom. Too much for the bathmat to cope with. While generally quiet, there was a little dog next door that liked to bark. The furnishing was a little retro but in good condition. Nothing fatal.

• Michele (6/5): Weekend Easy - Nonostante zamalek sia una zona "tranquilla" posso dire che non esistono zone tranquille al Cairo 😂 , il caos è ovunque ma fa parte dell'esperienza di viaggio. L'hotel è normalissimo, un po' rustico con porte ed infissi in legno, i letti erano comodi con tanti cuscini e la stanza era pulita. A 50mt ci sono tanti locali per cenare e fare colazione, la zona è molto attiva e le persone non sono invadenti, anzi sono molto rispettose e cordiali. Si trova in un vicoletto nei pressi di un ponte, quando si arriva la prima impressione non è positiva, poi però capisci che è semplicemente un quartiere di vita quotidiana con varie attività. Nulla di importante però, il condizionatore non funzionava benissimo, il bagno era davvero molto piccolo e non aveva il box doccia, quindi si bagnava ovunque, gli infissi non si chiudevano bene e mancava l'asciugacapelli. Ma sono semplicemente dei piccoli dettagli, per il resto tutto ok..

Vielleicht kann man das verbessern indem man sie mit dem Bett verschraubt. So verschieben sie sich nicht so leicht und man rutscht weg

The room are just what you need for a stay in Cairo. Having stayed also for a similar price in the downtown, I prefer Zamalek and this hotel 100% more.
