- melloulsanie (10/5): As this was my first time visiting Rome staying at Domus Appio Claudio made my visit special. - I liked how easy it was to get to the property and the location is great with plenty to see nearby and easy to visit other places of interest
the property was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean ,and it was well equipped the rooms were nicely furnished.
I would highly recommend Dolmus Appio Claudio a place to stay at when visiting Rome ,great customer service from the host.
Great value for money and a beautiful apartment in a perfect location I would happily return again. There was nothing to dislike everything was perfect

Wszystko sprawne. Podstawowe środki czystości. Na warunki rzymskie i ceny - super.
Trochę dalej od centrum. Nie stanowiło to żadnego problemu ponieważ metro A było za rogiem. Orientacyjny czas przejazdu do najważniejszych atrakcji 20-30 minut.
- Łukasz (9/5): Świetny - Duża liczba udogodnień i spora przestrzeń Prysznic

- Zsofia (8/5): Very good - The apartment is located outside of the city center, but it’s easy to get there as the metro station is close by. It’s spacious and has everything you need. Hot water wasn’t always working in the shower. Shower needs a refurbishment.
- Bojana (9/5): Good value for money - Excellent location. Metro station is really close, as well as some nice places to have coffee and breakfast. Beatrice was really nice - prepared the apartment before the regular check in and gave us the option of a late check out because there were not new customers that day. The shower could get some upgrade.
- Nouraldin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martynas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bianca (5/5): I would not choose to stay here again. It was truly disappointing. - Close to the Metro station(subaugusta)
A large flat
five gas stoves in a kitchen. First of all, we struggled because the elevator was not available.
Although the building had an elevator, it was restricted to upper-floor residents and required a special key. We had to carry two 25kg suitcases, a stroller, and other items up two flights of narrow stairs.
Since we had to carry the stroller up and down daily, it was especially inconvenient. (Note: The accommodation is on the second floor, but requires climbing two flights of stairs.)
Furthermore, the oven and bicycles listed as available in the facility description were not usable.
The oven’s front glass panel was completely detached, and when we told the owner it was dangerous and needed repair, he simply said, “It’s fine, you can still use it,” which was shocking.
The bicycles on the balcony had been left outside for years, making the handlebars sticky and the air pump unusable. When we complained, the owner dismissed our concerns, saying, “It’s free now, so just deal with it,” which was frustrating.
At times, there was no hot water in the shower, even though we could hear the boiler running.
(We stayed in mid-February 2025.) On one occasion, we had no choice but to take a cold shower while completely undressed.
The house rules were also stricter compared to other accommodations.
We were required to dispose of all our trash ourselves before checking out (we couldn’t leave anything behind at the accommodation) and even had to clean the place before leaving. Since our flight required us to depart at 6:30 AM, this was extremely inconvenient.
Both the shower booth and the toilet were unclean.
The toilet wouldn’t flush continuously, as it took 2–3 minutes for the tank to refill, which meant we had to wait between flushes if using it for solid waste.
The washing machine was broken.
When we contacted the owner, he directed us to a nearby laundromat, where we had to do our laundry at our own expense. (To get a refund, we needed to provide a receipt.)
We had to pay €22 upfront for laundry, but the re
- Ekkehard (9/5): A very pleasant week in Rome. - The Apartment is not far away from the Metro Station Subaugusta in a quiet side street. The apartment was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. Our host Chiara was extremely helpful with all questions we had.
We highly recommend this accommodation. Not many restaurants in the area.
- Aditya (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the house is very near to the Metro station this makes it very convenient for commute. House is very big and comfortable. All furniture was good. Nothing to complain as such, everything was good. Given that house has aged a little, few very small maintenance stuff needs to be taken care but ofcourse nothing that bothered us much.
- Monika (7/5): Big nice appartment near the underground - The host was very kind and gave us perfect information about everything. The accomodation was big and there was all you need. Close to underground. Comfortable bed. During our accomodation was noise at the morning from 7am. Someone was renovating the apartment above our apartment. This was very annoying and uncomfortable.
- Maria (9/5): Great apartment, like at home - The apartment was very comfotable, spacious, and has everything we needed to stay in Rome for a week or so. It is very close to metro A station Subaugusta. The neighbourhood is very nice and lively. Gianni was very kind and available to help us with everything we needed. If I come back to Rome I would definitively love to stay here again. Nothing! If you force me to say something to improve, maybe it would be good to add a better pan to cook the pasta, but this is just a detail to make it perfect.
