• Sven (7/5): Die Unterkunft ist gut aber ohne Serviceleistungen - Frühstück und einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice zum Airport steht NICHT zur Verfügung! Ich musste $26 fuer den Shuttleservice (Taxi) bezahlen). 8 Minuten Entfernung zum Airport. Es stehen KEINE Frühstücksoptionen zur Verfügung! Es gibt KEINEN Shuttletransport zum Flughafen! Ich hatte einen Shuttleservice im Hotel bestellt und erfuhr erst am Flughafen, dass es sich um ein Taxi handelte und dafür musste ich fuer die 8 Minuten Fahrt $26 bezahlen.

Das Wasser im Pool hätte mehr Reinigung nötig. In den Badezimmern waren Toiletten und Böden teilweise gar nicht gereinigt sowie die Badewanne richtig staubig und Duschabtrennungen sehr verkalkt.

This place is ok to stay for a night near the airport to catch a flight but not as a long term stay if you are a tourist. Folks were nice and helpful

• Matias (9/5): A really nice place - The place is really nice, everything is big! The building and style is quite old but is perfectly maintained so all works as expected! The personnel is really nice :) Great swimming pool, the kids really enjoyed it Is a bit away from supermarkets so you need to drive a bit to buy groceries. Anyway there is a small market 5 minutes away.

• Brian (9/5): Stay in a full apartment for a hotel price - This place is huge! We were just staying one night after flying but is could be a destination. There are two and a half bathrooms, a jacuzzi bath, beds for for and a well equipped kitchen. The showers were amazing and best part, walk right out the pool area. Nothing, it was a good stay.

AOS is lucky to have such a great staff! All was great with the stay, plan to make it my go to spot when next in Costa Rica

Security personnel were very responsive and friendly. At this price point, we didn't even think to check to see if they had Air conditioning (which they do not have) and a hot water heater (also, which they don't have). The beds were hard. There weren't any sheets on the sofa bed and when the staff brought them, they were dirty. The Google Maps link they sent was wrong (thankfully the name of the hotel was searchable). There were ants on the kitchen counter.
• Cody (10/5): Peacefully relaxed, wonderful staff, safe location - Okay yall, this was a 2 day plan for this rental. Stayed a week. The property itself I have no words. I was in apartment 14 open the door and there is the pool. Pretty much had the pool to ourselves as the place wasn’t busy! 24 hour security. Diego works 7-7 day. He knows pretty good English and even offered a few cool places to check out. A short walk to fresh market and other close by restaurants Diego offered El Shrimp Shack which was amazing food! The lady that cleaned our room was excellent! We came back from an entire days out and she pad everything cleaned up fresh linen and towels and even organized our belongings. And wrapped up our fresh fruit, we had out by mistake on the counter as we were starting the day a little late. Was able to get more sugar for no charge from the desk. Which was also exceptional service and he knew English! A lot of birds and wildlife around in the trees waking you up so we rarely used our alarm. The entire place is gated. I absolutely loved the stay Oh and 2 full bedrooms downstairs has 2 beds with full bathroom Half bathroom in hallway by kitchen and upstairs bedroom (master) full bathroom with jacuzzi a lot of storage places and fridge Full kitchen with appliances! Close to restaurants the staff were all exceptional Diego security and the maid actually made our stay! Great people, definitely safe as it is all gated with 24 seven security if anybody who comes and go security has to let you in.

• Jon (7/5): Out of the way in the suburbs of San Jose. - The staff behind the counter were wonderful and understanding. I had an issue that I couldn't return to the property, and they quickly remedied the cancellation. You are very far away from food and restaurants.

We had arranged a pick up from the airport and although our flight was delayed by a couple of hours the driver was waiting for us and it was an easy drive to the hotel. The next morning our shuttle service was late so the receptionist came outside and offered to phone them for us.
• Muhammad (10/5): Amazing place for family stay in San Jose Costa Rica. We were lucky we chose Apartotel for our stay. - Apartotel Obelisco is a gated community with 20+ apartments in it. We arrived late around 11pm but Apartotel staff was so nice and kind and welcomed us graciously. We stayed at this property for six nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Apartment was very spacious, comfortable and convenient for a family of five. Two rooms with full baths and a 1/2 bath on the main floor was very convenient for everyone. There is one water pool shared for all apartements was very convenient to enjoy and relax when needed. Pool water was clean and it was maintained well throughout our stay. Not much to mention, only minor improvement can be a bit better strength wifi. Wifi was working fine but could have been better.

We also appreciated their flexibility - Denis was willing to give us a shuttle ride at 4:45am in the morning which saved us a lot of trouble from finding our own ride.

• Ran (5/5): The worst location ever - I booked this place in the 90's minute because I got stucked without a place to sleep in San jose and the time was 19:00 in the evening . The worst location ever. The closest supermarket/ restaurant/ Bank/ something is 3 k"m away . There is nothing close to the hotel . If you don't have car it's very hard to get from place to place. Also I think that they have only rooms for couples or families and not for solo travelers like me . Because of that the price is way too high for 1 person. And also they didn't had a key so I had to keep my window open so I can open the Room . And there was alot of Ants in the kitchen.

• Jeff (6/5): Close to airport and convenient but no amenities - Close to airport. Use Uber or Didi Secure property with 24 hours guard. Full size kitchen. Separate sleeping areas(loft/second floor) provide some privacy. Nice pool area. Booking search was for 4 people but when selecting room option it changes to two people. Facility charges $15/ person for additional people. This might be a Booking.com issue not the property. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. No air conditioning.

Excellent if you travel with the kids as it is a flat with 2 bedrooms, big kitchen together living room and in addition small amendment for working place. There is a swimming pool, balcony with chairs. It is good for long staying. The bathroom is a little but worn out.
• Susan (8/5): Away from aircraft noise, 2 bedroom unit. - Safe area of San Jose. Quiet and away from airport noise. Shuttle from airport one way was included and returned us reliably for a fee next day. One km walk to ideal fruit and yoghurt breakfast cafe called Sip Juice Bar Cariari. We arrived when it was dark and there is no food option at the hotel at all.

• Elena (5/5): Place needs renovation - It's clean, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming Close to the airport I'm sorry but I hated the stay. This place needs renovation. The room smelled like old musty furniture, and 1st floor windows have no mosquito nets, so it's impossible to air the room. There are no air conditioners. They're not listed on the facilities, but honestly I implied that the AC is default for any hotel in a place hot and humid like Costa Rica and didn't even check. There are fans instead, but they're pretty noisy and not efficient for the big room. The night was uncomfortable. The lights are dim, so the rooms get pretty dark at night. There are enough outlets in the bedroom, and theyre located in the inconvenient places. WiFi signal too weak for the bedrom on the 1st floor (the router was on the second), it kept going on and off. The shower is barely running and I just couldn't get the temperature I want: it's either hot or cold water.

Neighbors were loud and management addressed it as well as provided complimentary breakfast. Very responsive, helpful and friendly.
• Andy (9/5): Perfect stay near the airport of San José. - A roomy fully equipped apartment, not too far from the airport in a secure area. Two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, large kitchen, balcony with table and chairs, shared swimming pool, very friendly staff. Basic but OK breakfast, shop and restaurants nearby. There is a lot of street noise at night. There are no curtains in the bedrooms.
