Guest Reviews
- Geoff (10/5): Excellent apartment and so close to the Vatican city -
- James (10/5): Great location, great staff and nice apartment. - Great location very close to the Vatican and the river. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean and comfortable. The only thing that can be improved is that we were only provided 1 large and 1 small towel each for a 5 day stay. However there was a washing machine and dryer so we managed.
- Christian (9/5): We enjoyed an amazing holiday in Rome and would definitely come back and stay at Nanni Vatican House again - The location was close to shops and restaurants.
The rooms were decently sized with nice high ceilings and very clean.
Cooking facility available.
We were able to check in late and our host gave specific instructions on how to access the property.
She also helped us with arranging a
taxi transfer to the airport at 3am so that we need not worry about getting to the airport on time. None

- Josep (10/5): Todo perfecto. - Limpieza, tranquilidad, ubicación.
- Jose Luis (9/5): Agradable - Todo en general Nada

- Karolina (10/5): - Obiekt blisko Watykanu 10 minut spacerkiem , czysty i przyjemny bardzo polecam 😀
- K (10/5): Great stay, booked the afternoon of while my daughter was in the emergency room at Santo Spirito Hospital (5min walk awa - So much space and so many amenities! The kitchen appeared brand new and included a fairly large fridge, oven, induction cooktop, and washer/dryer. The bedrooms had LOTS of space. This would be a good spot Foro two couples or a family. Some taxis will not come to this address because the street is narrow. Cobblestone streets and stairs are involved to get to/from the property. Have taxis drop you at the children’s hospital for a very short walk downhill to the address. Once in the unit, it’s on the ground level, so easy to access once you mind the 2 steps down.
- Karla (10/5): Home away from home! - It was wonderful! Close enough from the train station to walk, not a sketchy neighborhood at all. The only thing was that it was a bit of a steep climb to get up there, but nothing we couldn't handle. Walking distance from everything, saved a lot of money! There are a few mini markets nearby that had everything we needed, and also a couple of restaurants. My favorite was Pastevere. The host was very polite, I loved that she checked in on us mid-stay and provided dining suggestions. It was a home away from home, the neighborhood is very quiet. There is some techno music playing at times, I think one of the neighbors might be a DJ? Nothing I couldn't sleep through. Wifi worked great, water was hot, washer/dryer worked well. Truly no complaints, I hope I get to stay here again! I couldn't figure out the coffee maker, so we just got instant coffee. But there's also a cafe right across the street.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location for sightseeing! Pam Local is a 10 minute walk away to get some food for breakfast. Antico Forno Roscioli, a very nice bakery, is a 20 minute walk away.
- Rachael (9/5): The property and the host were terrific & we rate the apartment highly - The apartment was clean and located close to many great restaurants in Trastevere. We walked all around Rome from this location. The host was very responsive & kept open communication. We enjoyed our stay. Although there is a washing machine, there wasn’t anywhere to hang washing that we could see. In saying this we would stay here again.
- Susan (9/5): Great value for the price. Perfect for a group. - Ease of entry to the building and the apartment. Spacious! Comfortable beds. Uphill climb to reach the apartment was brutal! Hot water ran out pretty quickly when showering.
- Nb (8/5): Clean and cosy apartment next to the Vatican. - Clean, well designed, and renovated apartment with ample storage space. Nice kitchen. The bathroom was very clean and well made. Self check-in was easy.
The apartment is right next to the Vatican, a short walk away from many attractions and restaurants. There are minimarkets close by where you can buy any essentials you might need during your stay (and some souvenirs too). There are also a couple of restaurants very close to the property for the days you don't feel like venturing out too far for a meal. Overall, we were happy with the apartment. The biggest drawback for us was the fact that the building is only accessible by either climbing a lot of stairs or walking up a steep cobblestone road. We were travelling with a small child in a pram, so getting to the apartment was a bit challenging.
- Leonie (7/5): we had a wonderful stay. it was close to the Vatican City. - The property was clean, with good ammenities.
I was easy to acces the accomodation.
it has plenty of room for 2 couples. I didn't like the steep street it was located on.
- Kendra (9/5): Superb - Slow internet connection and did not let us leave the luggages there when checking out
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Location, location, location. Near parking garage 'Terminal Vaticano', Bus Stop, the Vatican, Trastevere, Tiber and old city center. You have to be aware, that it is located on a small steep hill, you need to walk a bit but it's all in reach.
The flat is nicely decorated and well furnished and the house is tidy. The street is so small, that there isn't too much traffic and you don't hear the enormous traffic down the hill that much.
The check-in procedure worked flawless but the huge key is tricky and could use something to secure it to a key . It is ground floor and quite dark, kitchen view on small courtyard, first bedroom with shutters to the street and the second bedroom has a window into the stairwell. Beware, the double-leaf door has at first a passage width of ~42cm.
There was a short techno beat audible from one of the surrounding flats on endless loop for hours - nervewracking - but in general it was quiet, but you can hear voices from upstairs.
You would need a very small car, if you want to drive to the flat, but there is probably no free place anyway.
- Nikolaos (10/5): Exceptional - The location.
It is located 5-15min walk distance from the most tourist attraction in Rome.
The appartment is very clean.
Everything was as described.
- Calvin (10/5): Had a great time, the appartment was nice and comfortable and the hosts were really helpful. - It was pretty easy to find, if I had any questions I asked the hosts and they got back to me pretty quickly. Shops are close by and the Vatican is about 15-20 minute walk away, most of the other sites were relatively easy to find as well as a most of route was turn an couple of corners and then walk in an almost straight line like to reach most places for food, fashion, and tourist sites. It was pretty quiet aswell at night hardly any noise, so if you want somewhere quiet I'd recommend this place. The apartment itself is really nicely decorated, there were towels and some toiletries to use, extra pillows if you needed them, some untensils like plates, cups and cutterly which we wasn't expecting, all the things you don't get in a hotel plus a kettle and a coffee maker. There are smart TV's that have access to netflix and most other streaming services (providing your own log ins of course). Overall I'm glad I booked here instead of a hotel.
- Jason (10/5): Great host, great apartment and an ideal location. - The pictures match the apartment. Very clean and well equipped. You can tell a lot of care was put into making this a modern apartment in an old building. The host was very accessible and accommodating with the check in and check out process. The location is great. Very close to the Vatican. Once you get down the hill, there are shops and restaurants within close proximity. There is paid street parking in front if you can get a spot. We left our rental car there for 3 days for around 30€ with no issues. The streets are very steep and narrow so not a lot of people come this way. We walked or used taxis as it was not worth trying to drive into the city or find parking again. Nothing.
- Baud (8/5): Very good -
- Debabrata (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vinh (9/5): Excellent - Newly furnished apartment with full kitchen and coffee machine. The WC are best. None
- Jaramillo (9/5): Superb -
