• rhyan (7/5): Good location. - Good size private room, $10 uber ride to gas town and overall pretty central. Decent value. The frame of the bed sticks out, hit my shins on it a couple of times. Place has a strong food smell but the room was all good.

• Claire (8/5): Great comfortable budget stay with public transport & restaurant nearby. - It was where I wanted to be with stores & restaurant nearby. Had kitchen, bathroom, laundry (I didn't use), really comfortable double bed, underfloor heating, reasonable space. The room I was in had laundry next to one wall and a bathroom overhead, which meant it was a bit noisy with our guests using the facilities. Please note both 'ground' & first floor use stairs to access.

Very thankful and the owner was very nice! Especially loved that there was coffee. Nothing! It was great!

Even though we arrived very early in the morning, we were allowed to check into our room, and we would like to thank you again for your kindness. On our last day, we saw a mouse while sitting in the garden. Also, during our last two nights, our room was very hot and there was no air conditioning. Since the windows did not have screens, we were hesitant to sleep with them open. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

We have been traveling for a week and it was a plus for me to do a small load of clothing. We appreciated the morning coffee to go with the food we brought with us. I’m sorry the kitchen area was not as clean as I would have liked, but a community room like that is difficult to manager!
• Markus (10/5): Top location to start exploring the city and still enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay. - Very good location — close to the city center while still being quiet and relaxing. Everything was exactly as described. The luggage storage was very convenient and the communication was super easy and fast. Really enjoyed the stay! The only small downside for me personally was that the bed was a bit too soft for my taste, but that’s just personal preference.
• Heather (10/5): Excellent value, great location. - Excellent location. Simple, clean lodgings for a great price. The other house guests were extremely respectful and quiet. I liked having a yard to sit in to enjoy the shade of the trees and view of the garden. A little dated (but who cares?).

• Sergei (8/5): Fair price, fair deal. - It’s nice and clean overall. Quiet place and price/quality is nice Hosts are Chinese and don’t speak English AT ALL. Just be ready to be a little confused checkin in. Water flow second floor is also kinda weird. Sometimes it just stops and you don’t have water for an hour. Maybe I just didn’t get it

• William (10/5): - I liked everything! Nancy runs a tight ship and the accommodation and facilities were all exceptionally clean. Leave shoes at the door and little flip-flops are provided for internal use so the place is really tidy. The kitchen was more than adequate with good tea and coffee making facilities plenty of pots and pans, clean cutlery and everything you would need if you wanted to do some of your own preparation. The property was well located, with bus stops very close with alternate routes to various parts of the city and a whole string of restaurants and wicked bakeries to tempt the less strong-willed! Nancy really was the perfect host and responded quickly to any messages sent and she went out of her way to be really helpful. I had a late evening flight so she was able to store my luggage at checkout and I still had access to a bathroom to freshen up before I started my long journey home. This lady deserves 11 out of 10. I would highly recommend this property.

• Fernando (7/5): Finde en Vancouver - Acceso con códifo muy fácil, tiene varias paradas de bus cercanas, restaurantes y cafeterías. Está bien aislada y la wifi está bien. El baño de mi habitación es amplio, así como el resto de la habitación. Cama cómoda. Es un sitio para ir a dormir. Debajo de la cama hay muchas pelusas e incluso una botella vacía, y dentro de los cajones incluso pestañas postizas, probablemente usadas. El grifo de la ducha es bastante antigua y sale agua tanto por el grifo de la bañera, como por la alcachofa, aunque te puedes duchar perfectamente.

Very warm and dry, with free laundry facilities, functional kitchen and clean spacious fridge, an outside seating area balcony with roof. Despite a minor language barrier the host is very kind and accomodating, and helped me sort out any minor issues.

• Anna (6/5): Ok für kurzen, relativ preiswerten Aufenthalt - Kleiner Garten (aber direkt an der Straße ohne Überdachung), Nähe zur Main Str mit vielen kl Geschäften, Restaurants etc, Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit sprach jedoch kein Englisch aber wir haben uns mit Händen & Füßen verständigen können Zimmer sehr klein und Unterkunft insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen, Fenster konnte nur einen Spaltbreit geöffnet werden, für Vancouver aber preislich ok

This place is so convenient with the transit and restaurants nearby. Just feel a home away from home there, actually it was my second stay there. And this homestay would always be my first option whenever I go back to Vancouver.

• indre (1/5): Misleading Listing – Unsafe and Lacks Privacy - I booked Fraser House Guesthouse expecting a comfortable guesthouse experience, but the reality was very different. I was given a basement room with windows just above ground level and broken blinds, offering no privacy. The property felt more like a backpacker hostel, with multiple bedrooms crammed into a small space and shared kitchenettes that seemed to belong to someone living there full-time. Security was poor, bedroom doors had only basic doorknobs with no secondary locks, and there was no sound insulation, so I could hear everything from common areas. The owner does not verify guest identities, and the self check-in/out system means they don’t monitor how many people are staying and who is coming in and out of the property. This listing is misleading and does not reflect the lack of privacy and security. I left for my own safety and peace of mind. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a secure and private stay. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of booking this place for a 3-week stay, and the owner refused to refund any money. This property is a scam given its actual condition and the misleading information on Booking.com.

O banheiro apresentou problemas no teto que não foi resolvido até o fim da minha estadia. A conexão com a internet estava bem ruim por grande parte do tempo em que eu estive lá.

The place was mostly clean, in that the bedding and surfaces were clean. It looks like everything gets a wipe down between guests, but the whole place could use a deep clean. The tops of things were dusty and the bathroom and kitchen could use a thorough scrub.
• 大可 (6/5): Good and Satisfactory - The location is nice. There are nice restaurants around. Nice place to walk around. The host is very nice and the shared spaces are cleaned every days. There is no air conditioner. The room is not soundproof, and I was disturbed by the voices of other guests and the noises from washing machines and showers. Also, many guests forgot to lock the main door by pressing # for a while, which causes security concerns.

Only one bathroom for the floor, was not dirty but not super clean either. Door lock on bathroom was annoying. Only provided with 2 body towels and one hand towel.
