Ahmed (5/5): Fair - On the positive side, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent, allowing easy walking access to most of the main attractions. Breakfast was decent and a good way to start the day. On the downside, the room was extremely cold on the first day of our stay. After informing the receptionist, they provided a portable heater. Additionally, the hot water took quite a long time to heat up.

Mica (1/5): They stole my money - Nothing, they took my money and didn't give me a room. I didn't like the hotel they put me in for one night where I got cut on a broken glass shelf in the bathroom, followed by them not refunding the money they owed me for the additional 2 nights that they did not provide a room for me. I also don't like booking.com doing nothing about it. I would sooner sleep on the street then give these people any business.

Awoh (9/5): Great stay! - We loved our stay at Revona Turizm Hotel. Very welcoming staff and helpful. Thank you Mehmet and Jihad! The room was comfortable and clean. The road the hotel is located on, in Vefa, is very lively and culturally rich, with amazing local stores and cafes. Staying here is an ideal location if you want to be a walking distance from the important monuments. It would be helpful to receive a welcome message before arriving with the 30€ airport transfer the hotel offers, we used this service when we left. Also, payment at the hotel is only cash, card payment would be more useful.

We were to tired to complain and decided to stay here. The building was in 10 steps feom this hotel so we can not give review for the hotel. The place/hotel where was our room is very old and the smell from the bathroom is noying and upleasant. The breakfast was poor. Locatin on fine, close to the Metro station and in walking distance from old part of the city. The staff were polite and helpfull. The staff are the best think regarding the hotel

Kameica (2/5): Disappointing - The location is close to the sightseeing attractions. There is no lift and we struggled to get to the third floor of the hotel. We were in the room right next to the kitchen and the terrace which was quiet noisy us. They did not clean the rooms at all or offered us any fresh towels. We all so found bend bugs and they only had blankets and stained sheets.

Anca (5/5): Poor accomodation - The hotel is situated in walking distance from the main touristic attractions. The parking was free, on the street in front of the hotel. The size of the rooms is acceptable. In the first evening we had to sleep in a hotel nearby and in the next day we had to move in this hotel. That was not so pleasant (move your luggage, move the cars...). The rooms are not very clean and it is a strong smell of mold. The towels looked very worn up and had even holes on them. Breakfast was very poor.
Solomiya (9/5): Good choice for this price with parking and breakfast - Cozy hotel near SultanAhmet area. We asked about parking place, we arrived in the night and boy from reception helped us to park our car in front of hotel. Rooms for three person comfort but needs little renovation. Breakfast small but enough with vegetables, eggs, cheese, meat. Good hotel for this price Bad smell from bathroom, we closed door to bath every time because of smell. Little bit noise, we slept with closed windows.

Sheats not too clean. The receptionist was very nice to take us to the harbour when we missed our schedule for the boat trip.

Breakfast was very sufficient for the price we’ve paid, tea was really nice. The room was functional, clean bed sheets, towels. I rate the property 4 stars as I remove 1 star as the room is a bit old. The location was great as the hotel was located on a street with lots of authentic Turkish cafes and restaurants. The hotel is also within walking distance to Suleymaniye Mosque, Sehzade Mosque (a hidden gem) and Sultanahmet (the blue mosque) (around 30 min walking). The room was old and maybe needs renovation.

Sorin (6/5): Pleasant - It is located in the center, many restaurants in the area, close to the Bazaar and the mosque. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, there is dust, there is mold in the bathroom. These are things that can be easily fixed.

It's a clean place. Very good place for this price. Towels are a bit old, I think they need to be changed but they are clean.

Catana (9/5): NICE - A nice small hotel very near of the city center with all the historical landmarks . We have a small terrace on the last floor where we stay in the evening with a glass of wine . The room was good , not extraordinary , but ideal for rest for another expedition day . At 10 meters you can find a market, a pharmacy and 2 small restaurants .Parking was FREE which is a big advantage in Istambul . Wi fi was good .

Hotel needs renovation. And if you want to sleep longer than 7AM, you better ask not the third floor. Because breakfast lady starts preparing brakfast at 7AM, right behind your door, so you really wake up at 7AM.

Whenever we needed something they would be there for help.🤗🤗They helped us in getting our luggage to the room and then getting it down after checkout.☺️They allowed their kitchen when we needed it.🙏🙏environment was like a family.we got every facility needed like hot water clean washroom . Warm room. Not noisy neighbourhood, so we would sleep nicely.the neighborhood “fatih district” was very friendly and welcoming and people were very nice. They treated us with free food. Thanks to them. I just wanted to inform others that there is a cafe attached at the right side of hotel called “vefa durum” . Be careful for their prices. They are looting the tourists. On our first day we got 3 koftas for 50 lira but on our 6th day stay they offered 3 kofta for 300 liras.it was not tasty at all but there was not other doner shop nearby.They changed the price of 3 koftas from 50 lira to 300 lira in few days. Very dirty beds: they had spots all over and pillows as well it is like the room was never cleaned after the previous checkout. 2. No sheets: nights were freezing cold and they only provided very thin sheets and I had to use many clothes to feel warm at night. 3. No "ikram" (free tea and coffee). 4. No waste bins in the room.

Mehmet and Yusuf (hope i am not mistaken in the names) are doing their best to make the stay of a guest comfortable. Once we were late a bit for the breakfast, Mehmet asked the kitchen lady to prepare it for us. Location is good: 10 minutes walk to Vezneciler metro station. 10 minutes walk to T1 tram stop, from where you can reach Sultanahmet , Hagia sofia in 10 minutes. 15 minutes walk to Suleymaniyye mosque. nothing special
Mariyana (5/5): Passable - The location is excellent, approximately 30 min. walk to the prominent landmarks in the old city of Istanbul. Despite there being some difficulties, there was always a place to park the car, and this is very important in Istanbul :) The room was extremely noisy, close to the kitchenette and balcony. Likewise, we heard pretty loud the call to prayers from the mosque throughout the day and at night, which troubled the night's sleep. In addition, there were some issues with the cleanliness of the room. For example, nobody came to change the towels or the sheets for three days or to clean the floor or bathroom. The breakfast is more than simple.
Minodora (9/5): We had a great time at Renova - The location is very good - everything we wanted to visit was in a short walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious enough and the beds were very comfortable. I was very grateful for the air conditioning, which is a must in August. The hosts were attentive and friendly and they serve a good breakfast every morning, on the rooftop terrace. I think that the bathroom needs a bit of attention: the faucet on the sink was moving and the shower cabin needs some descaling. Other than that, everything was great.
