• Melanie (10/5): Excepcional!! Hermoso! - Todo fue maravilloso, ideal para desconectarse de todo. Las cabañas son preciosas y el lugar en si está a otro nivel entre montañas. La atención de los anfitriones con el desayuno estuvo buenísima Nada. Solo como recomendación tal vez hacer una muy mini cocina con lo básico. Al no ser un hotel sería grandioso no tener que salir ni para comer
• Alexa1389 (8/5): Lindo chalet en la montaña pero podría mejorar - Ubicación, comodidad y limpieza. Ideal para relajarse. En Booking se indicaba que había desayuno por 13$. No obstante, nunca se me ofreció el servicio. Al leer los comentarios muchos huéspedes indicaron que les llevaron el desayuno al chalet y eso no sucedió en mi caso o que se me informara dónde podía recogerlo. Además, el host no estaba para recibirnos y ambos detalles restan un adecuado servicio al cliente. El baño limpio pero La ducha solo tenía jabón.

• Ursula (7/5): - Hübsche Lodge, Frühstück wird geliefert Schwierig zu finden, ohne mobile Daten bekommt man die Nr. des Schlüsselsaves zu spät. Ohne Heizung war es nachts sehr kalt!
• Jean (9/5): - L'emplacement au milieu de la nature un rêve! Les cabanes sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Très bon petit déjeuner traditionnel apporté le matin. Seul hic : l'absence de chauffage; avec les températures qui peuvent bien descendre pendant la nuit, il faut prendre son courage entre deux mains pour se lever le matin et prendre sa douche

• Magdalena (10/5): Paz y tranquilidad - Lugar super tranquilo, apenas para descansar. Con unas vistas hermosas y espacio para caminar. El desayuno que llegan a dejar está super rico, cualquiera que se pida! El personal es muy amable, hasta nos invitaron a la inauguración de la fogata. Nada, todo super lindo.

We felt spoiled - Location, very private in the cute valley green and cloudy, breakfast service in the morning being brought to us, wooden cabin house very nicely done and good quality and style. Even during the night we enjoyed a walk to the closest restaurant, it was nice and part of the adventure.

• Carole (9/5): Séjour pas assez long a notre avis mais apprécié. - Endroit magnifique, au calme. Petit déjeuner copieux livré a l heure souhaitée. Accueil souriant, agréable. Restaurants aux alentours difficiles à trouver de nuit.
• Hubert (8/5): - De behulpzaamheid van de supervriendelijke host Kenneth. Het keuze-ontbijt was overvloedig en lekker. Met enig geluk kun je de quetzal in de tuin zien ! 's Morgens kan het zeer koud zijn, en er is (nog) geen verwarming aanwezig. De host brengt wel een verwarmingsapparaat op aanvraag. Ook was de chalet niet zo eenvoudig te vinden, en vooral moeilijk bereikbaar vanwege grintweg met stevige helling. Een 4x4 wagen is hier wel nodig.
• Erik (9/5): Stille med flott natur, mye fugleliv - Fin beliggenhet sentralt i dalen, komfortabel hytte, god service fra vertsskapet. Fikk se quetzalen, fikk også et møte med 4 coyoter på en gåtur tidlig om morgenen Frokost måtte bestilles, ble levert til hytta, litt vanskelig pga. språket.

• Claus (10/5): Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis! - Eine wunderbare Lage auf einer Lichtung mit einem super Ausblick. Absolute Ruhe nur das Bachrauschen. Ein sehr freundlicher Vermieter, sehr hilfsbereit bei der Organisation einer Vogelbeobachtungstour. Der morgendliche Frühstückservice bis an die Haustür war perfekt das Frühstück hervorragend, dasOmelette absolut empfehlenswert. Die Zufahrt auf den letzten 200 m etwas holprig, aber mit jedem normalen PKW problemlos zu fahren, Allrad nicht notwendig. Es fehlt eine Ablage für den Koffer und eine im Bad für Utensilien, noch 2 oder 3 Kleiderhaken mehr und und mehr fällt uns auch schon nicht ein.

L’absence de réseau que l’on sait en amont mais idéal pour déconnecter
• Jacco (10/5): De locatie is echt geweldig met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. - De locatie is echt geweldig en het personeel super vriendelijk. Als we weer een keer naar Costa Rica grote kans dat we hier dan weer zullen verblijven.
• laila (10/5): Keneth is the loveliest creature, also the masseuse is the most amazing person, and all together is probably one of the - How peaceful it is and beautiful and the sound of the gushing water is so soothing, on top of the proximity to all birds. Exquisite Sometimes the water is stuttering in terms of how hot it is, if the shower is long enough ~ hot water ain’t so hot for a bit (but with some patience, the temperature goes up again 😅🙌🏽)

• Belinda (10/5): - We liked everything about this property. Knowledgeable, caring staff went above and beyond to make stay enjoyable. They answer questions promptly. A delicious breakfast is served to your chalet. The location is perfect.
• Stephen (9/5): Beautiful place at San Gerardo - Peaceful, quiet, beautiful view of hillside, creek nearby with birds. Make sure that you stop at Miriam's Quetzals for coffee and hummingbirds and at Dona Marlen (recommended by owner) for delicious Costa Rican food with fresh trout, as well and more hummingbirds. My wife speaks some Spanish, so we communicated with the owner O.K., otherwise we would have needed a good translation app.
• Ruben (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf - Een heel fijn huisje gelegen op een erg mooie locatie! Warme ontvangst van de gastheer Kenneth, en ondanks dat we elkaars taal niet spraken was de communicatie soepel. Het is ‘s nachts koud, maar er zijn genoeg dekens om je warm te houden. Er is een kleine koelkast en op een paar minuten afstand is een minimarkt waar je wat drankjes of snacks kan halen (naast Doña Marlen). Er is ook koffie en thee beschikbaar voor bij het ontbijt, wat ook erg goed (en veel :) ) is! Dat we hier maar een nachtje waren.

• Calderwood (9/5): Beautiful location and the staff were so friendly and helpful - Really nice lodge in the mountains. The location was amazing and the staff were so friendly and so helpful. We had a really good morning bid watching with Carlos and although we had to pay extra for the breakfast it was really nice. There could have been more storage and kitchen facilities in the lodge. The driveway to the lodge is a bit sketchy and the car struggled a bit. Need a 4x4 to be comfortable
• Martin (10/5): Beautiful location and very comfortable cabine! - The location is super magical! The view is beautiful and the cabines look brand new and are very clean and comfortable! At the lodge across the river you can have breakfast with a very nice view of the river and see a lot of brides. The walkway from parking lot to the cabines can be a bit of a challenge, especially when the grass is wet.

• Sophie (9/5): What a beautiful location - we particularly enjoyed the view and the Quetzal sightings! - Beautiful private place with good facilities, stunning views and comfortable bed. The host was very friendly and helpful and questions were answered promptly. I particularly enjoyed breakfast by his trout pond on one of the mornings! More facilities for cooking could have been nice, though I know that it was clear these weren't on offer. Just a thought for the future. It was very easy to get nice food in local restaurants.

• Floerke (10/5): Worth the trip to locate - Absolutely gorgeous location and well thought out cabins. These are very new, and they are still adding amenities. Very comfortable cabin with comfortable Queen size bed. Great net-hammock on the side of the deck for star gazing, or just relaxing and taking in the views. Small river nearby adds a lovely natural soundtrack with the various birds calling. We had opportunity to chat with the mother and son owners of the property. Very nice people.
• Adan (10/5): Breath taking - Everything was a delight, it's one of those place where it's actually better in person, pictures fall short as the place is much better. We were able to observe quetzal from our own balcony. Serenity and calmness are in every corner and nature is exquisite. Bonus: try the breakfast and the bird watching tour they offer. • Tom (9/5): Superb - The lodges are located in a beautiful valley in the forest. There is plenty to explore in the area. The staff was super nice and explained a lot of activities that are available. There are restaurants close by. It's definitely worth the visit. The lodges can get cold. Especially during nighttime and in the morning and the drive, especially downhill on the way to the property isn't for everybody. A powerful suv is definitely recommended.

• Anthony (10/5): We only wish we could have spent more than 3 nights! - We booked with Entre Árboles Lodge last minute after experiencing the crowds of Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. San Gerardo de Dota was another, much more perfect world. The area has fantastic walks and forests, and Entre Árboles Lodge was wonderful: it is private and relaxed. Booking Entre Árboles Lodge was the best decision of our 3-week trip to Costa Rica.

• Julien (9/5): Nice stay disconnected in San Gérardo Da Dota - The chalet was in the middle of a forrest, in total immersion within the nature. The chalet itself is very comfy. The owner was very nice and helpful.
• Nikita (10/5): Exceptional - - The location of the house - to be alone in such beautiful mountains, with the view through the glass wall was amazing - It was not really easy to drive to the house with a regular SUV (without 4x4 and differential lock mode), especially on the way back to the street from the apartment. - There's no heating in the apartment, so end of March it was relatively chilly inside (6 degrees Celsius in the evening)
• Greivin (9/5): Absolutely fantastic, it is a fact that we will return soon... - The girl who greeted us was very friendly and not only gave us information about the accommodation but also about the restaurants and the different activities available in the entire area, as well as recommendations in this regard. The chalet is not only very comfortable and spacious but is also located in a privileged location. At night we were able to see the stars lulled by the nearby river and in the morning we woke up to the singing of birds where the goldfinch stood out. It's a great place. Unfortunately there was no breakfast included (although it is not a problem with all the nearby restaurants) but the host assured us that he is working on it then all good at the end.
