- Amelia (9/5): Lovely stay - Fantastic location opposite huge botanic garden (1km) which was great to walk / run around for exercise in the evenings and mornings. Very quiet area. Convenient location to get to main sights without staying in the busy central part of Kyoto. Paid Car parking was available at the hotel. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Very enjoyable stay. We were happy to walk to get exercise. Left car at hotel for 2 days and walked 15-20 mins to catch bus / train to popular sites. Not an issue for us but no public transport near the hotel. Air con was fixed temperature and ok most of the time until suddenly very hot air at 3am!!?? Windows do not open.

Location is not very convenient. Room very small. Double bed is small size. Only 2 (half litre each) water bottles provided complementary, if you want more, you have to purchase from hotels vending machine. We were 2 adults and 1 kid staying, and yet they refused to give 3 bottles.

- Sumiyo (6/5): ロケーションがよいホテル。男性スタッフの教育を強化いたしましょう！ - とにかくロケーションはよかったです。京都御所の道路挟んですぐのところで、おごそかな雰囲気漂う立地のところでした。心が清らかになる雰囲気がありました。朝早くからの散歩もとても気持ちよかったです。 駐車場の件で前日に電話にて問合せをした際に応対にでた男性スタッフのもの言いが感じ悪くて、思わず宿泊をキャンセルしたいと思わせる程でした。しかし時は遅しで、キャンセル料が１００％かかるタイミングでしたのであきらめました。チェックインの対応は女性スタッフの方がすごく感じがよかったのでホッといたしました。翌日チェックアウトの際にどうもこの顔つきの男性かな？感じの悪い人は・・とおもってその人の列には並びませんでした。現場では嫌な思いをせずに終われたのでよかったです。

- Maruoka (7/5): 落ち着いた時間を過ごせました。 - 親戚の結婚式が下鴨神社であり、前日に利用させていただきました。部屋がとても清潔で綺麗ですし、ホテルの外観や内装が少しレトロチックで好きでした。 大浴場がないのでユニットバスなのが少し扱いづらかったですが、お部屋はとても落ち着きました。 お部屋の鍵が可愛らしい形をしているのですが、最初ドアの開け方が分からず5分ほど試行錯誤をしておりましたので、不安な方は鍵の開け方を聞いてみるのもありかと思います。

- Morgane (7/5): - L’établissement est bien positionné et on voit qu’il vise un certain standard de qualité dans l’aménagement des chambres et leur taille. La seule fois où j’avais payé un établissement aussi cher, le petit déjeuner était inclus et j’avais accès à un Onsen deluxe. J’ai donc trouvé que le rapport qualité prix n’était pas ideal. Toutefois, cela se justifie par les prix de Kyoto. De plus, j’ai mis plusieurs minutes à trouver la commande de la lumière et il y a avais un bruit de soufflerie en permanence que je n’ai jamais pu faire cesser, si bien que j’ai du dormir avec des bouchons d’oreilles.

- Julian (7/5): Good location for a quieter experience - Perfectly situated in front of the imperial gardens, good if you want to be outside the busy centre and closer to the traditional streets. Not far from the metro station. The staff are nice and helpful. Our room was small and not very clean, compared to other hotels we're staying at. We didn't find the bed comfortable either, the bath was tiny.

- PASCAL (8/5): Hotel au calme - Un bel établissement, où la propreté est parfaite dans tous les lieux. La surface de la chambre esr correcte. Le calme grâce à une bonne isolation. L'ensemble du personnel de l'hôtel, y compris dans le parking, est à vos petits soins. Le petit déjeuner, en option, vous est servi à table. L'établissement est très bien, il est juste en face du parc Impérial. Mais, c'est un peu excentré du centre , environ 30 minutes à pied. Néanmoins, il y a un métro pas très loin.

We had a room overlooking the gardens with a lovely angled window which gave the room a much larger feel. Very comfortable chairs and occasional table set up and extremely comfortable bed The main drawback is the long walk from the bus and train. In the heat it was a bit exhausting
