Guest Reviews
- Lesley (10/5): Comfortable and relaxing. - Very comfortable and relaxing. Facilities were good and privacy observed.
- Quinton (10/5): Beautiful, Peaceful Stay with a Fantastic Host – Just a Minor Shower Quirk - • A fantastic stay overall with very secure parking — always reassuring.
• Set in a lovely, remote location with beautiful views — peaceful and scenic.
• The host was incredibly friendly and generous — a genuinely lovely person who made the stay even better.
• The accommodation was clean, stylish, and felt really well looked after.
• Also, great value for money — definitely worth it. The Only Downside (If I’m Being Picky):
• The water pressure was a little low, and the temperature dropped a bit after the shower. Still, the shower itself was good and didn’t take away from an otherwise great experience.
- Laura (8/5): Look forward to returning - A lovely quirky setup but comfortable bedroom for the night above a luxury stable block. Loved the uniqueness and hearing the odd snort from downstairs. Real treat to see such fine horses and owners exercising in the various yards. Wish we had been staying for longer. Great value for money too. Friendly and attentive hosts. Nothing
- Selina (9/5): Great night and slept very good. A lovely place to stop at. - The host was lovely and very understanding as we were a bit late with it being an evening arrival. Roadworks were re-directing us elsewhere.
Great host. our needs were met so we liked what we saw. No problems.
- Rob (10/5): -
- Hurran (9/5): - David was very accommodating and showed us around, he also let us and our dog walk around the big field at the back. The shower and bed were great and there was fresh coffee and milk in the mini fridge.

Excellent parking on site.
Short walk to lovely pub.
Dogs very friendly.
- James Conrad (10/5): You get more than what you paid for - Welcoming, clean, accurate and particular
- john (8/5): - David is a genial and helpful owner of a horse boarding operation. Room is directly above a stable, somewhat small with very comfortable bed. Adjacent private well-equipped (including Continental-style open shower) bathroom. Large, pleasant veranda with extensive views.
- Christian (10/5): - Very rustic unlike the corporate feeling of a hotel and sounds of the yard and horses walking around was different but pleasant. Sitting at the balcony watching the horses and the goings on was relaxing We had to go
- Lucinda (9/5): A little piece of heaven. - Beautiful surroundings. Fabulous horses. Lovely welcome. Nothing.
- Chloey (8/5): Lovely place to stay - Easy to find, hosts very welcoming. Clean, modern and a comfortable bed.
- Richard (8/5): Nice place to stay in Eastleigh which does have a lack of hotels and Airbnb’s. - Room was comfortable and quiet. Not too far from Eastleigh. It is an equestrian center so a few horsey noises in the morning but nothing to complain about. Had a good two nights stay. Some areas do have horse feed smells , but in the room itself it was not noticeable.
- Jenny (10/5): Convenient to Southampton - Comfy bedroom, big shower room. Great Veranda see to watch birds and horses.
Interesting to watch the workings of the equestrian centre
- Martini (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (9/5): An excellent place for horse and dog lovers, good value, easy access to main rds. Nice pubs nearby . - Staying in an equestrian centre where you could watch and hear the horses from my room was brilliant. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. Even had a dinky mini fridge to keep the fresh milk cool
- Stephen (10/5): A total pleasure. - Beautiful location. Wonderful facilities. Very helpful and friendly people. Couldn’t wish for a more relaxing and welcoming place to stay Nothing
- Stephane (9/5): Great value stop over stay. Just the rest we needed. - Friendly host with a warm welcome. Good size room and bathroom. They put out fans for us as it was a roasting hot day and it cooled the room enough to sleep. Perfect for our one night stay on route to Goodwood. Would definitely stay here again. A bonus was the recommendation for a pub dinner.
- David (9/5): Superb - The view over fields
- David (8/5): Great value pet-friendly stay - Nice location on a horse stud farm with the rooms above the stables, a nice, clean bedroom, and bathroom.
Lots of space to walk my dog. Nothing
- Adrian (9/5): Superb - Pleasant rural location on a working equestrian centre. This was self contained modern accommodation above a stable block. We were not disturbed but help or assistance was readily available. We were able to leave very early in the morning without disturbing anyone. In our opinion there was nothing to dislike.
- David (10/5): Unique location, comfortable bed and nice bathroom - The unique location, with being able to sit out and overlook the yard in the morning whilst having a cup of tea was very nice.
Very friendly dog who came to visit us in the morning whilst we were outside
- Anthony (7/5): The staff were all friendly & helpful. - It was on a working horse property, they like animals. The shower I wasn’t able to work out how to get the water cooler & the doggy smells just inside the front door entry but then it is a working animal lovers property.

David, the host, is very friendly and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and could see staying for a longer period., especially if we had a rental car.

It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We’d definitely come back! Nothing not to like
