• Emmanuel (10/5): Slow Life dans un petit paradis bélizien - L’arrivée dans cette belle campagne bélizienne, le site au pied du Rio Bravo au couleur turquoise. Stacey et Philip sont prévenants, souriants, apaisants à l’image de cet endroit paradisiaque. Le petit déjeuner, la balade sur la rivière vers les sources avec Philip, la baignade dans les eaux cristallines, le silence… J’ai rien à dire
• Lucie (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay at the Crystal Creek Lodge! - Our absolute favorite in Belize. A paradise on the banks of the Rio Grande with its turquoise waters, an oasis of beauty and tranquility. The hosts are incredibly friendly and the food is excellent - try Stacey’s pizza!
• Andreas (10/5): Perfekter Ort, um einfach zu entspannen. - 1. Die Unterkunft: Die Unterkunft hat alles was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht und ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett ist bequem, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet (sogar eigene kleineKaffemaschine mit Kaffeepulver), es gibt kostenloses Trinkwasser wodurch man sich viel Plastikmüll wegen einzelnen Wasserflaschen sparen kann und wir waren selten in einer so sauberen Unterkunft. Trotz der abgelegenen Lage war das verfügbare Wlan sehr sehr gut. Zusätzlich bekommt man jeden Morgen von den Gastgebern ein umfangreiches und sehr leckeres Frühstück. Bei Bedarf kann zudem Mittagessen oder Abendessen bei den Gastgebern bestellt werden - dies ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Neben der eigentlichen Unterkunft gibt es direkt am Fluss eine super gemütliche Palapa, die zum entspannen einlädt. Wir haben hier meist gegessen und Abends dann Spiele gespielt. Die Palapa ist an allen 4 Wänden mit Mosquito-Netzen ausgestattet, wodurch es auch zu Abendstunden sehr angenehm war, dort Zeit zu verbringen. 2. Die Umgebung: Die Lodge ist wunderschön abgelegen und ruhig direkt an einem Fluss - perfekt um alles um sich herum zu vergessen und ein paar Tage einfach nur zu entspannen. Auf dem großzügigen Grundstück gibt es einiges zu erkunden und wir konnten regelmäßig verschiedene Affenfamilien auf den Bäumen sehen. Man kann kostenfrei mit dem zur Verfügung stehenden Kanu den Fluss entlang fahren. Wir machten zudem die „Hidden Springs Tour“ mit dem Gastgeber Philip, die sich auf jeden Fall auch lohnt. 3. Die Gastgeber: Stacey und Philip waren von Beginn an unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend wodurch wir uns sofort wie Zuhause fühlten. Wir können nichts negatives über die Unterkunft sagen!
• Cameron (10/5): Most restful vacation I've had in a long time. With any luck I'll be back. - Proximity to the river, ability to watch wildlife close to the cabin, friendliness of owners, chance to explore Mayan ruins. Philip, who acts as the fishing guide, provided a varied experience that included bushwhacking to a beautiful secluded lake. Day usually began and ended with a home-cooked meal right by the river bank. There is a spring fed swimming pool we didn't take advantage of if the ideas of swimming with the crocodiles in the river doesn't appeal. For me, nothing. But the level of peace and quiet may not appeal to everyone.
• Pablo (10/5): We had a wonderful experience and will return. Very peaceful. - It is a secluded beautiful spot away from everyone. There is only one cabin available which is wonderful for those people who want to be by themselves with nature. Stacy and Philip, the owners are wonderful and will even cook your meals. The food is delicious. This is a retreat without TV. Everything is operated from solar panels. A little bit of energy conversation is necessary. There is abundant wildlife and there are activities that can be organized through Stacy and Philip. This is a beautiful private ranch with Brahma cattle all around. We liked everything.
