- Aurimas (1/5): - Absolutely terrible place don’t recommended for nobody
- West (1/5): - Nothing the room was unclean qnd the tv was broken no wifi When got to the room no tv as was smashed the walls in the room were dirty no wifi to use ever
- Samuel (1/5): Didn’t happen - It didn’t exist It didn’t exist
- Edvaldo (6/5): Great - I have not requested anything. All good.
- Tess (8/5): Perfect location, many rooms and spacious! - The location was amazing, right near the station and near the station is a street for foods for later nights! Getting in was tricky. You had to call a number which answered in mandarin (I believe)
They call you back and give you a code but it was rather difficult to figure out
- Steven (1/5): Rotten - Location I didn't stay I left on the same day and booked a Travelodge for my stay I wouldn't recommend this place unless u like bed bugs
- Nina (5/5): The hotel could be so much better with just a little more attention to the well being of the guests. - It was mostly clean. I had a place to sleep after three days and evenings working. It was convenient for the train on Sunday morning. It was very stressful getting in! I had messaged to ask to check in 5pm/6pm between shows. When I arrived there was no bell to ring and I tried knocking but nothing. When I rang it went to voicemail but voicemail was full. I finally had a text which was not clear at all. But I was in.
The shower was lukewarm at best.
There was a half used bottle of handwash and one towel and that was it in the shower room. No tv. No WiFi. No fridge so I had to put my soya milk in the waste bin and fill it with cold water.
I didn’t feel particularly safe ( single woman ) so propped the chair against the door each night.
I looked out onto a concrete yard with a weed in it.
The window only opened a crack and there was no air con, so the room became very hot.
- Piedra (4/5): - Great location Outdated, noisy, no toiletries
The cleaner knocked at 10 when leaving its at 1030, open the door without waiting for answer, and didnt want to leave when told so, I was half naked, very bad experience
- Anaga (1/5): These people should be in prison - Station Hotel is a fraud
Train station hotel are a fraud. When I got there, there was no means of getting into the hotel since the front door was locked. When I called the contact number multiple times, each time I got an automated voice message in a foreign language. I then sent messages to which there was no reply. I was therefore force to book anothet hotel. Train station hotel are a fraud. When I got there, there was no means of getting into the hotel since the front door was locked. - Benjamin (3/5): -
- Dyan (6/5): Cheap cheerful place to stay - Location & price Big hassle getting someone to answer phone to get code for keys. Lots of people struggling when we arrived.
- Hindley (1/5): -
- Duke (1/5): - Nothing Couldn't get into the property with the pin code, once inside couldn't open the bedroom door with the key. Then there was no way of locking the from the inside. There was a big hole in the bathroom door. We had to leave on the same day of our stay. Very unhappy with the property.
- Mutnbak (1/5): -
- Susan (1/5): - Close to train station Waited 40 minutes to be allocated room and no one at reception. Won't be staying there again
- Kely (5/5): - There was nobody at the reception the whole time.
- Deborah (1/5): Faulty Towers - Locality No tv..no charger point...dirty walls.....poor ventilation.. freezing..
A cleaner had to let guest in
...stains on walls...awful experience
- Lucy McEleney (7/5): - Great location and pricing. Room was clean and tidy with good facilities and a nice bathroom.
- Catherine (1/5): Didn't stay - There was no bell to ring for entry only a phone number, couldn't gain entry. It looked dingy from the outside, dirty net curtains. Looked through the glass door, it looked dingy and unwelcoming so just headed for nearby Premier Inn. Not very happy as I had paid in advance. Not a suitable property for your website.
- Shane (2/5): - Location TV didn't work and no staff to come and fix it or change rooms plus the cleaners were knocking on the door before checkout time
- Inga (1/5): - Nepavyko. Neatvykus
- Abdelkader (1/5): - Frames bed broken and teils broken not safe in batrhom
- Andrew (8/5): - Comfortable bed Noise from outside
- John (5/5): Basic - Shower was good quality. Radiator worked so the room was warm enough. Prob cheapest room with private bathroom in Norwich on a Saturday. Near the station. No staff - check in is by making a number of phone unanswered calls which eventually resulted in a code for the key safe. Room was tiny - size of a single bed. No Wi-Fi or TV. There was a Kettle & a cup & 1! teabag - no coffee. Only one small towel.
- Jessi (1/5): - Nothing. Signs of flooding in the ceiling. Water damage everywhere, peeling paint, strange smell, noisy. Left as soon as could in the morning AVOID NOT WORTH THE PRICE FOR A SINGLE ROOM
- Gary85 (1/5): Took money and never let us checkin - Nothing They could ov actually let us checkin
- Amber (1/5): -
- ziętek (1/5): -
- Louise (7/5): -
- Luke (1/5): Avoid - Nothing Broken tv rude staff and just not worth the money for what was paid
- George (1/5): Not worth the price. - It’s convenient, close to station A lot of things. Check in took forever, on the phone with someone instead of an actual person on the desk, I was in a rush and it took forever.
My bedroom door did NOT LOCK! I had to rush off to work and had to leave it as I didn’t have the time or patience to call up the person who checked me in over the phone.
The WiFi didn’t work
Bed Sheets were filthy, I’ll most likely have bedbugs now.
Room itself was filthy
- Bloom (4/5): -
- James (1/5): Terrible - Location, close to the city. No staff on site, had to call the number on the front door to check in. This would be a problem if there is no charge on the phone. Kettle was huge and sink was small so it wasn't easy filling the kettle. No TV, just a dirty patch in the wall where the TV was. Window was broken and unable to close fully so security was an issue and no way to adjust heating in the room so the window was permanently open. Shower drain was also broken. Only one pillow.
- Wilding (10/5): -
- Jones (1/5): - Location was great but nothing else Drawings on walls, no WiFi, dirty, looked like someone had punched the walls, no reception to check you in
- Chelsea (1/5): - Nothing It was dirty and booking.com couldn’t do anything to help we with it
- Alfie (1/5): - The staff was rude. Assisant Manager never been to property to help. Allocated to room 16 but room had been broken in to. Relocated me to room 17. But someone was in there and wasnt pleased when knocking at my check in time at 9pm. Then for a 3rd time rellocated me again but the pin code needed to be put in once as recommended by the assistant manger. No light in the toilet unable for me to have a shower once got in. Travelled 150 miles for work and was late. And when speaking to someone the manager he said they were Chinese and were in China and very hard to communicate or get any type of refund from. All calls are recorded and tried to get refund and as manager said owners are in China and hardly come to the uk.
- David (3/5): Will not go again - The room was clean Couldn't get on Internet TV was broken.
- Cameron (3/5): The room and halls where clean , the shower had great pressure , how ever a lack of WiFi and front of house staff brough - The property was clean. And tidy and quiet Didn’t see a single member of reception staff my entire 2 week stay and only saw the housekeeping staff twice, even tho advertised as having WiFi I had no WiFi for my entire stay and had been informed when I saw the housekeeping staff that they hadn’t had it for 3 months and they have been ignoring my messages to try and get a resolution between myself them and booking.com
- Jenna (1/5): My stay at The Station Hotel was disappointing due to a chaotic check-in process, lack of basic amen - The location is the only convenient thing. I recently stayed at The Station Hotel and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing.
We booked a triple room for three people, as well as a separate room for another guest. Despite booking together, the rooms were at opposite ends of the hotel (Room 1 and Room 18), which was very inconvenient.
The issues started on arrival. There was no one at reception, and the only person available to help us was unable to communicate in English, which made the check-in process very difficult. We were initially told our room was Room 6, then told it was Room 18, then informed we needed a code to access it — only to later be given a key instead. The phone number displayed at reception was also incorrect. It took over 40 minutes to check in, which was stressful and not a good start to our stay.
The triple room itself had several problems: no hand towel, a dirty mirror, only one glass and two mugs for three guests, no kettle, the TV didn’t work and the WiFi didn’t work. Most concerning was that the room was freezing. The radiators were not functioning, and the windows had been left open, which made the temperature even worse.
The additional room had similar issues, including being extremely cold, suggesting this may be a wider problem throughout the hotel.
Overall, the lack of basic amenities, non-functioning facilities and the chaotic check-in process significantly impacted our stay. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

- paul (1/5): Do not book here if you actually want to be let in - The location There is no staff present in the hotel and the owners attitude when you finally get through after waiting for 2 hours to be checked in was abysmal. When I finally got up to my room I found that it appeared the TV had been ripped off the wall and the floor didn't look like it had been vacuumed for about a year. It feels like one of those places you wipe your feet on the way out.
- Emeka (3/5): It needs a proper work and upgrade - just close to train station no heater
no staff
no soap
not clean
- Odette (7/5): Convient - The hotel is clean, and easy to get to. You are central to everything, bars and clubs and shopping facilities.
Such a picturesque place, especially the cathedral I didnt like that there wasnt anyone on the desk , you had to call and they would never answer, but would call you back. Also the cleaning staff will walk straight into your room in the mornings without knocking.
Also the rooms show tvs, neither of the rooms i stayed in had a tv!
- Ian (7/5): Was perfect for what I was looking for - Very reasonably priced Lack of staff to let me in
- Jennifer (5/5): -
- Adrian (9/5): -
- Quinton (7/5): -
- Jake (1/5): -
- Kain (1/5): Do not stay here it’s horrible I went home because of how bad it was - Nothing Absolutely terrible hotel, the shower was freezing cold there’s questionable stains on basically everything the bed had woman’s hair in , cannabis in the bedside table and the whole place smells like curry
- Sidney (6/5): You get for what you pay for. Would stay again if I just need a bed to stay - Location wise very convenient as it’s next to the station Parts of the room seem to be wearing out
- Lucy (1/5): disappointing - great location There’s no staff actually working in this poor excuse of a hotel, upon arrival we had to ring a number that was sellotaped to the front door, it took 40 phone calls between my friend and I before anyone actually answered us, which is not what you need when you’ve just spent 8 hours travelling. The keypad pin didn’t work and another hotel guest let us into the foyer when he was leaving, took us about 30 - 40 minutes from arriving at the hotel to check in. when we finally got an answer from the “staff” member it was a text message stating he’s occupied and to text instead of ring. Finally we got into our room, which probably hasn’t been cleaned in the last 5 years and found a damp wall, huge cracks and holes in the walls, bleach stained bedding, hairs in the bathroom sink and shower and so generously one small towel to share between the two of us. The windows have a safety latch that you can very easily remove so i wouldn’t recommend this place if you value your child’s safety. All in all it was rather disappointing especially considering this was over £100 for just two nights in what felt like a crime scene.
- tiani (4/5): - accessible and in a good area close to the places we needed to get to the hotel is locked from the front door so you have to call a number to open up a key box for her to then instruct you to check yourself in… there was no receptionist or any member of staff in sight when entering the ‘hotel’. i was sent to a room that a lady on the phone told me we walk straight into via phone call. this room already had somebody staying in. the invasion of this poor mans privacy was not appreciated by either parties as i should not of been there! i was then sent to a different room which was very dirty with what i can only assume was black mold on the shower floor. this hotel needs a clean and it needs some functioning staff that are actually present in the building when there is arrivals so they deal with issues hands on without making it ten times harder for everyone by having to get in contact through the phone.
- Guest (1/5): shit - not open didnt stay here slept in my car very angry and want a refund
- Douglas (8/5): - The staff were very helpful No one explained about the shower
The heat switch was behind the wardrobe
- Ethan (1/5): - They left me standing for 2 hours outside the property is freezing temperatures while ignoring all phone calls and not a single staff member on site
- Holly (5/5): -
- Kin Chung (4/5): -
- Lee (5/5): Poor - Close to the clubs Was very out dated and not very we’ll looked after
- Benjamin (1/5): Very bad experience - Nothing I hereby request for a full refund and compensation on the following grounds.
I booked the hotel about 2 weeks before the trip.
I showed up at the time that I indicated during the booking.
When I got to the hotel on December 13 at around 8pm, nobody was at the reception to attend to me and there was no instruction on where I could get the key
I called the number at the reception more than 10 times, but no answer
I sent an email message and left a voice note, no response
I called booking.com customer service but only AI attended to me. The AI told me that he could not help
I was in the cold for almost 1 hour and almost stranded because of the poor organization of the hotel and that of booking.com
I paid 55 pounds for one night in the hotel but then had to book another hotel for 75.65 pounds
I had to take uber to and from the other hotel and paid around 26.05
I hereby request for a full refund of the accommodation
I also hereby request for the payment of 50 (75.65 + 26.05 - 55) pounds to cover the difference between my original booking and the emergency one, uber cost and inconvenience
Hotel to train station - 9.65 pounds
Hotel to another one - 16.40
Another hotel - 75.65
Old hotel - 55

- Michell (1/5): The only thing I could say was glad to leave there. - I arrived in Norwich around 20.15 pm. I found a key lock without a key in it. There were no night staff on. My son called to get advice to get in the place. The room had not been cleaned. I took pictures as proof. When I left, I got home and had another shower to reduce the itching. The key was in the room. There was no breakfast available, what was the breakfast room, was completely clear of any chairs tables extra. They didnt even have day staff at the receiption nor did I see a cleaning team in the place either. I stayed from 10-12, and I will never stay there again. It was less than a mile from the station as I didnt know the area. I dont know how to upload the pictures on here.
P All of it. The whole place was not welcoming.
- harry (1/5): Customer neglect no staff or answer telephone. - Nothing I didn’t get to check in. I arrived at 8pm, I could check in 14:00 until 22:00 it says on the booking. However when I arrived at the front door of the hotel there was no doorbell button, no staff a sign saying to call the hotel number 07888 802225 I waited around calling until 9pm in very dissatisfied and was late for my event I came to Norwich from kings Lynn, which started at 8pm I was going to put my bag down and go straight to the venue.
- Ian (1/5): -
- Simon (10/5): - Everything
- mughil (1/5): -
- Kin Chung (4/5): -
- rosa (1/5): -
- Paul (1/5): Do not book this place - Nothing . I could not gain access. No bell on the front door with only a mobile number to call . Which went to answer machine. Tried calling countless times but no response . Left standing on the doorstep. So had to book another hotel. Now asked for a refund with no response from the hotel at all . Booking now getting involved . Looked like an absolute dump from the outside so probably dodged a bullit. Stay well clear of this place . Everything. When I checked into the replacement hotel up the road the manager said she had heard it’s not the first time this has happened.
- Ricky (2/5): -
- Ben (6/5): -
- jane (3/5): -
- Joel (8/5): Did the job - Location Bit rundown outside
- Malkevicius (4/5): -
- Bryce (3/5): Good place to stay for a short trip conveniently near the city - Very close to the city
Layout was nice
Bed was comfortable and the extra blanket was useful It was freezing and we had no way to turn the heating on and there was no one to speak to at the from about it
There were stains on the ceilings that were unpleasant to look at
- Malgorzata (3/5): - Location is very good . Next to the train station and very close to the castle and cathedral.
My room was very clean. Very cold. No heating during my stay. I had a very long radiator in my room, but it was cold all evening, night, and morning. The duvet was very thin summer duvet, and there was no blanket, only a small bed throw, so not enough when you cold.
The bed was broken, so I sunk in the middle, and also, the tv remote control didn't work.
My room overlooked a street and it was quite noisy.
- Graham (5/5): Cheap and not so cheerful. - It’s located close to Riverside. It needs updating and to supply exactly what it advertises in the rooms.
- Matt (8/5): -
- Paul (1/5): Diabolical - I didn’t like anything I was bitten by bed bugs on my first night so moved out I still haven’t received a refund from the hotel or booking .com and guess what booking .com are still sellingg these rooms knowing there is an infestation I would go elsewhere to book your accommodation because if things go wrong no one helps you !!!!! There is an infestation of bed bugs what is to like about it ??? Filthy horrible hell hole remember if this happens to you the hotel or booking .com don’t care I lost £388 that week you’ve been warned
- Kittima (8/5): Very good for rest during night because of quiet - So close with train station Not see any staff
- Pauline (1/5): - The location and the proximity to the city centre I understand it was a cheap room, but even so the expectation to be clean and in a good state of repair should be paramount.
This room was dirty, the walls are in great need of painting the wood in the bathroom needs replacing as it was broken and dirty. Although there was a kettle and a few teabags there was no spoon to stir the tea. I asked a domestic if I could have one and initially she said no. However in the end she took one from an empty room for me. But should I really need to go in search of something so basic and fundamental to making a cup of tea?
The fire alarm sounded and it took far too long for anyone to respond to it. And even after the alarms were silenced, there was a bleeping sound emanating from the firebox area which led me to believe the box was showing a fault and nothing appeared to be donel about that in a timely manner.. It worried me in case it negated the effectiveness and efficiency of the fire alarm system. Although im not an expert and these were my fears. I wondered if someone had been smoking in their room to set the alarm off. I wasn't told the cause, but there was no actual fire. Unnerving, to say the least.
Definitely won't return to this hotel.
- MIRLAN (5/5): -
- Linda (8/5): Central location clean and good value for money - Central location short walk from station and 10 mins into city centre Check in was chaotic, we phoned as instructed and left message but no reply for around 20 minutes
- snow1994 (9/5): - Location Nil
- Lumb (8/5): Ideal for my needs - Warm, clean and comfortable, fantastic view. (THIS VENUE IS CALLED 'STATION HOTEL' WITH NO MENTION OF RAILWAYS LEADING TO AN UNECESSARY 3 MILE WALK, NO BLAME ON THE HOTEL....APPEARS TO BE A BOOKING.COM ERROR)
- Rodney (5/5): It's ok for a quick one night stay over - Very basic there were only enough tra coffy milk for one cup and no one around to be able to get more and the floor by my room felt like it could give way at any time but its ok for a one night stay if nothing elce available but for what there is I thought the price was a bit high but must be expected being so close to towen The place was very dark no railings to hold onto getting into the building im disabled and almost fell dowen the steps trying to get into the main entrance and there was only enough tea coffee and milk for just one cup and no one around to get more
- Jacob (1/5): Terrible - N/a Very dirty and smelly, bedding clearly wasn’t washed mould growing on walls
- david (1/5): -
- Balcombe (1/5): - The hotel was shut down I hat to pay for another hotel witch cos me £140 and try contact u on the day I want my money back and the trouble of getting another hotel Ure company is a joke and how can u do this to people
- Nathaniel (5/5): In the ballpark of what I expected - 4.5/10 - Great location and half-decent value for money. The features advertised were mostly provided and I got some sleep. There were no staff on site and I had to call their number 4 times over 10mins before being told how to get in. There were no instructions in the room on how to access Wifi. Although I was able to shower, make tea, and sleep, the room and hotel badly needs refurbishment. The shower has burn marks on the floor, the bedroom flooring needs to be redone, and overall design looks run-down.
- Michele (6/5): -
- Hahn (10/5): Perfect -
- Victoria (5/5): Would stay here again because of the location and price - Perfect location Bed wasn’t very comfortable and it had no shower curtain or net curtains at the window. No dressing table mirror and there were floor boards missing underneath the carpet, so dangerous for people with mobility issues. The tv didn’t work and the remote had to batteries and was the wrong remote for the tv.
- Oke (8/5): - It was neat Bed was wobbly and noisy
- Abram (1/5): -
- Jithin (3/5): - There was no staff in that hotel when I was there. Then I contacted them by my phone, and the light didn't work, and they didn't provide shower gel and shampoo. The TV was on the floor, and there was no remote control. Provided best quality of service and room facilities.
