• Annick (1/5): INSALUBRE ! - La gentillesse balinaise de la dame. La chambre était insalubre. Dès l’entrée, l’odeur de moisi prend le nez. Le bas des murs a été recouvert d’un cache-misère en polystyrène. Nos affaires étaient humides. La couverture et la moustiquaire à baldaquin n’étaient pas propres. Il n’y avait pas d’espace, mais vu le prix on aurait pu comprendre . SURTOUT, les personnes asthmatiques s’abstenir!!!!

Petit déjeuner correct mais un peu juste, 1 (ou 2) toast(s) seraient bienvenu(s)

• sarda morales (10/5): Hostel bon ambient i familiar - És un lloc molt ben ubicat , te tot el que necesites. El llit es molt còmode. El personal és molt atent i amable, especialment Ketut em va atendre molt bé i em va donar totes les facilitats, com llogar una moto i tenir transport. El que més m' ha agradat ha sigut el rooftop amb unes meravelloses vistes de les muntanyes M 'ha agradat tot, potser la única sugerencia que faria és poder tenir l' esmorzar una mica més aviat.

• Agustin (7/5): - La dueña es muy amable y el sitio es muy tranquilo. Nos ayudó con el transporte de Munduk a Ubud y también para alquilar una scooter. No hay agua para poder rellenar la cantimplora (en la mayoría de hostales la hemos tenido). Se acumula mucho el aire en la habitación y es dificil de airearlo. En el baño hay mucha humedad.

• Thomas (8/5): Bien situé, hôte disponible ! - Nous avons aimé l'emplacement idéal du logement, à proximité des cascades et de warungs, laverie.. etc Le logement est petit mais fonctionnel. L'hôte est très gentille et fait tout pour vous satisfaire, elle propose toutes sortes de choses dont la location de scooters ou un service de laverie. Le lit manque de confort, la moustiquaire est mal positionnée et est plus gênante qu'autre chose lorsque l'on n'en a pas besoin. Ce n'est pas très bien insonorisé donc si des clients sont bruyants et irrespectueux, on l'entend bien.

Immersion dans la culture locale de Munduk dans une famille avenante et adorable qui nous a aidés à organiser notre séjour. Situation géographique idéale pour rayonner dans la région. Nous nous sommes sentis ici comme chez nous… Douches chaudes avec pression et belle vue du rooftop. Je recommande +++ Pas de climatiseur. Uniquement des ventilateurs mais c’est largement suffisant à Munduk.

We were able to leave our luggage in the reception after the check out. The lady was very friendly and attentive, and we would love to be back. The location was good, and we could park our bike there too

Room was very clean, roof terrace had 360° view of the mountains and you got laundry. Also dinner at the same price as somewhere else at the street. Staff very helpful.Mosquito net also available. • Eloise (7/5): Overall we really enjoyed our stay! The staff are incredible and go out of their way to take care of you, good value for - The staff are super friendly and help you with everything (laundry, dinner, transport etc). The location is stunning and the 360 degree views on the rooftop for breakfast are amazing. Clean sheets and relatively clean towels. Amazing shower- hot and powerful. Delicious pancakes for breakfast! We were in the most basic room which has a bad problem with damp. It looks like they have tried to make it better with air fresheners but it still really smells and gives you a stuffy nose and head. There are a lot of ants in the room coming out of the sink and there were smaller ones in the bed. There are no Grabs or Gojecks around Munduk so recommend renting a scooter as taxis are overpriced. There is no drinking water however the shop directly opposite sells a litre bottle for 8k so not a major issue. Laundry is really fast but slightly overpriced (25k per kg).
• Ilya (8/5): Very good - A good value for money stay with a stunning mountain view. My room lacked air-conditioner, and bathroom ventilation needed attention but overall it's really nice place with friendly staff. Btw, they accept only cash :(

• Jenny (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely host and homestay. The woman that has it is so kind and welcoming, and makes delicious breakfast in the morning. You have some different options to choose from and all I tried was very good. The view from the rooftop is also nice. Recommend to enjoy your breakfast there.

• Anais (3/5): Poor - Good welcoming Breakfast ok Central location The room was very humid, the walls were moldy (under the wallpaper it was all green), the bathroom door was black (when I spoke to the owner she told me it was just black not dirty..not convinced). a very strong musty smell in the rooms, so humid that the sheets were wet. I asked to change the fan because it was very dirty.

It's enuff for one person not for two people. When it rains theroom is a mess. The water enters inside the room n water gets clogged. The bathroom is really small.

• Laoana (4/5): There are better places with the same price - Owner helped us rent a motorbike. The room has a really strong smell of mold. It gave me headaches. Toilet is really small. I do not recommend this place. Laundry is very expensive with them. I found another place for half the price.

The room was quiet, comfortable and bed linen clean, usual loo/shower arrangement. Good WiFi. Great views from the breakfast terrace, lovely pancake and omelette breakfast with coffee. Smiley and helpful hostess. Easy access to waterfall walks. Nothing Be aware there are steep stairs up to the breakfast terrace

Nice balcony and rooftop Shower with hot water Room barely had air inside despite open windows and fan, no ac. Breakfast was disappointing with just omelette and no bread or toasts or anything else (with sugared coffee). Wed prefer breakfast outside instead of basic breakfast. Bathroom and bed were very small. You feel the bed issue especially when friends and not couple, as there is no twin separate bed option

The woman that ran the homestay was lovely. Rented a scooter from them without problems. Good breakfast - we were given three options on what we could have. Overall we had a lovely stay and thought it was good value for money. WiFi didn’t reach our room at the end of the corridor but seemed to be decent elsewhere in the property (ie in the hallway, roof where you eat breakfast, etc). Not sure if it’s an issue in other rooms.

She organised our transport to our next destination and we could rent a scooter directly from her. We would definitely come back here.

We loved our room and the location was sooo good, 5 minute walk to some of our favorite food places and a walk to the rice terrace and waterfalls. We loved Munduk and would definitely stay again!!

• Karolina (10/5): Exceptional - This place is exceptional! Amazing service and tasty breakfast. Rooms and all the areas are super clean and very well taken care of. We stayed for a week and it was for us a very cozy home to come back from exploring surrounding of Munduk.

Ketut was very accomodating, she prepared delicious banana pancakes for breakfast and found me the perfect driver to reach Lovina -a driver who didn't hesitate to do some detours on the way so that I could enjoy the hot springs and nice temples. The homestay is located on the main road, which can be a bit noisy early morning with all the traffic, but very convenient to do the waterfall trek (up to 4 beautiful waterfalls!) and visit the ricefields. Good wifi Bring cash, because it's not possible to pay by card and there are no ATMs in Munduk
