Guest Reviews
- Lora (8/5): Very relaxing and good place to unwind for a couple days. - Laundry machines. Very clean. Well stocked with supples. No gas grill. Grill was mentioned in on-line add. No A/C. Room started to become hot during the day. Wasp in the bedroom window because screen not fitting properly.

- Kate (8/5): - Beautiful place, with convenient appliances. Easy check in, and very clean. It's about an hour's drive to Bar Harbor, and many of the hikes in Acadia National Park.
- Jeremy (9/5): Beautifully prepared spacious cabin in Acadia NP district - The cabin is spacious, bright and clean and very well equipped. The hosts have been very thoughtful and have done everything to ensure guest comfort - I commend them. The outlook from the cabin is pleasing with glimpses of the water over the road. The location "Sullivan" is a long way from anything or anywhere but at least you are getting a delightful place to stay for a about the the price of a motel room in Bar Harbor. The constant Vacasa emails eventually became irritating. The cabin is expensive but it is 51km from Bar Harbor! The lock on the front door was not entirely reliable requiring several tries - The code is too long!

- Yvonne (9/5): Superb - The cabin was beautifully decorated with "almost" everything we needed. Very comfy bed, with a warm, cozy atmosphere throughout the whole cabin. On arrival the cabin was not at all easy to recognise. We were looking for "Acadia Lights Cabin" and the only building at the GPS destination was signed as "Lobster" above the front door...very misleading and frustrating.
The lock box key code did not work. There was a second key box to the left of the front door, it was broken. We called the agent who tried her best to help us. By the time we had called back & forth, trying different codes, an hour had passed. We felt very frustrated & tired after our long journey and were shocked that an owner would not have paid attention to details about entry access at such an expensive accomodation.
Also normal kitchen items were sadly lacking. For example, there was only one large spoon and no others. The house keeper, whom we met when leaving, ought to be taking inventory and restocking supplies when needed.
Our overall impression was, that the absent landlord of a beautiful tastefully decorated accomodation was inattentive to detail. We travel all over the world extensively. We stay in all kinds of accomodations. To us, there is nothing worse than an inattentive owner who does not pay attention to detail, but is happy to grab mega dollars while having no concern about supplying at least a fail safe lock box for easy access.
Needless to say, we will not be returning. Yvonne Cattrall & husband, Byron Russell.
