Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): Very cosy and comfortable property to use as a base - Breakfast not applicable.
A little tucked away to find. No real faults to highlight
- Steve (9/5): Superb - We stayed at Stable Boy cottage for one night on our way to Cornwall. Great place. The owners, Jackie and Mal, are nice people. Also, there's a great Indian pub restaurant, which is dog friendly, less than 100 yards away. Whats not to like. Nothing
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and spacious cottage, really enjoyed the stay. Very comfortable bed and all the facilities you would need.
- Sophie (10/5): Incredible hosts. Highly recommend - Very cosy - great location, just opposite a brilliant pub but also nicely remote.
- Nik (10/5): Cosy, welcoming & perfect for both 2 legs & 4. - Just the right place, lovely and peaceful, toasty warm fire, some lovely welcome treats & equally lovely hosts. Nothing not to like! A little sad I was too tired to make it to the pub buuut we can change that in future! :)
- Carol (9/5): Cosy cottage, super friendly hosts, fab location to explore the Cotswold. - Cosy cottage with super friendly hosts who were lovely and even let my daughter ride their horse and feed their pony. Would highly recommend this place for anyone wishing to explore the Cotswold. As I had a child with us, better channels on tv would have been a nice touch during the evening/dark nights but not a big deal at all.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - It was all great, the hosts were just fabulous and very accommodation. Special gifts were provided and it was all just fabulous. It was all fabulous accommodation wise. The property is easy to locate but the information given on Booking.com is wrong; the address is not 33 Winchcombe so people go to the wrong house but I understand the hosts have requested it be changed numerous times and booking.com haven’t fixed the problem.
- Roger (8/5): Ideally located for a party we were attending. The hosts were very helpful and left a lovely food pa - We did not receive communication about access to the property. Found that the property we had booked was occupied but the excellent hosts had another property immediately adjacent.
- Karen (10/5): Lovely safe location. Well stocked with everything I needed. I will definitely stay there again - Really cute and nicely presented. Nothing
- Adrian (10/5): A relaxing cosy retreat . - Authentic period cottage updated with modern facilities to make it comfortable . Quite location(absence of traffic noise) set back from road. No low beams. South facing aspect. The owners were very welcoming and provided some provisions which were greatly appreciated . To make it perfect it would have been nice to have a blind to pull down over the skylight in the bedroom for those who need total darkness to sleep . Although I realise this divides opinion as moonlight did provide an attractive natural low level light and some like early morning day light .
- Paul (10/5): Perfect stay in a great cottage - Amazing cottage, good location and lovely hosts! Nothing
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): a very pleasant stay, thank you -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic host, who couldn't have been more accommodating around arrival time, etc. Lovely little touches on arrival, such as having the fire lit for when I arrived. Would highly recommend!
