• Marta (1/5): Place infested with cockroaches - Nothing We want to report this location as it was infested with cockroaches and the room was not clean. On the first night we found a big cockroach in the kitchen and reported this to the staff. On the second evening another cockroach crawled on our bed. We have both pictures of cockroaches and uncleaned room. Our reservation was for 7 nights (fee paid on arrival by card) but we left after one night. We agreed to pay for the first and second night but we would like to have our money back for the nights we didn’t stay in this location, a total of 5 nights, as this was clearly a room which was not ready to be used. The Hita Apartment could only give us half of the amount of the remaining 5 nights. They said the rest should be paid back by booking.com. We contacted booking but never got a response...
• Danielle (4/5): Disappointing - Had to ask for basics eg change the bins and toilet paper. The bed streets were stained. The towels were so stained they were unusable and we had two lots. Everywhere looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly.
• Ni (7/5): Nice Apartment ❤ - Everything good and clear , Nice place to stay specially if you stay longer in Bali Full facilities and love it ❤ I booked 2 rooms during my 3D2N stay, 1 for me and my kids tge other 1 for my mom in law and sis .. The first time we come in to sis room was so smelly , but the staff come quickly to clean it up .. Thank you so much ❤🙏 Definetely will come back here 🔆🔆🔆

The handle for the tap in the basin kept falling off, the toilet seat cover would not stay open as if it was spring loaded to close, and the bath was too small so it made standing up for a shower awkward because of the strange angle the shower head was angled at

The bathroom was gross, there were stains on the floor and bath etc. The hotel photos must be very old, it looks awful in reality. As do many hotels in Bali imo. There were bugs everywhere on the side too 😵‍💫 as a clean freak, I hated it

• Tevy (8/5): It’s nice for a couple of days - Great location close to everything and especially a coffee bar (which is convenient for breakfast). Bed was comfy! Hot water last 10 min The girl at the front door needs to follow a training in how to welcome and inform guest properly. I’m in holidays, not here in an administration office. Strong smells of insecticide in the bathroom which was waste everything. Cheap furnitures (except the bed which was great).
• Tailua-nalay (8/5): Ground floor room has a kitchen with stove and mini fridge + your own filtered water although we didn’t use it. Bigger b - Everything. TV had no English subtitles and couldn’t connect to Netflix. Other than that, it was great!
• Jonathan (4/5): Not the worst place, but certainly not great - The room is a decent size and never felt too small. The bar fridge worked fine and was cold. The shower was actually hot which was great. The attendants were quick to fix problems and very friendly. When I arrived the attendants had filled two large bottles with tap water, or bad water, as it tasted bad and I actually was sick with Bali Belly sooner after this. I demanded better water and they supplied me with very cheap bottled water which tasted awful. Better to buy your own water here. The place was extremely noisy with crying babies, barking dogs at 1am onwards, and it was hard to sleep and relax there. I asked the owner to leave early but he only wanted to refund me half my money, I stayed another 2 days and he refunded me 700 K (paid 2 million rupiah for a week) which was quite fair but I had to do quite a bit of negotiating to get this.

Nice, clean and spacious balcony. Very Friendly staff. No handwashing soap or liquid in bathroom. Prefer bottled water instead of filtered water. No swimming pool. No complimentary Milk or milk sachets provided in room.
• Екатерина (9/5): Superb - The location is good, close to the beach, near supermarkets and a shop with fruit and vegetables. The hotel has a nice staff, they helped to bring everything we needed: clean towels, sugar if we asked. Very loud sound from the safe. After request the engineer did not come. Didn't sleep well at night because of this. Should have contacted the reception again and reminded more persistently. Small gnats crawling around.

• Larah (9/5): Outstanding property near the beach - The room is very spacious, clean, and beautiful. The location is also near restaurants, supermarket, cafes, and Legian beach where you can see a beautiful sunset. It’s also very affordable. When we arrived, we were told that they were overbooked and wanted us to pay additional fee for the room with kitchen and bathtub since the room we that booked is not available anymore. We didn’t agree to pay additional since it’s not our fault so we waited for a few hours to get a confirmation that we can stay there without any additional fee. Hope there can be a better process with the room reservations.
• Mia (1/5): Horrible - I have stayed in dozens of accommodations in Bali, and Hita Apartment was by far the worst in terms of staff and overall experience. When I requested room cleaning, I returned to greasy dishes that clearly hadn't been washed with soap. The bedding sheets, pillowcases, and comforter were never changed unless specified, and the soles of our feet would turn black from the filthy floors, which were never mopped or swept. We even had to request cleaning supplies to do it ourselves. The towels provided were stained, tattered, and had holes in them. We had to purchase our own towel hooks to hang them on the wall. The cleaning staff was extremely incompetent and had poor hygiene. Their body odor was so disgusting that my girlfriend was gagging, and we had to spray perfume after they had been in the room. We also witnessed the cleaning staff torturing a stray cat for amusement, which was extremely disturbing. To make matters worse, the power went out, causing all the meat in our fridge to spoil. The faucet water was also brown occasionally. When my girlfriend's grandmother unexpectedly passed away, we requested a refund for the 23 additional nights we had booked as we needed the funds for our sudden travel expenses. The management staff stated that their "company policy" doesn't allow refunds despite the circumstance, and when I asked for the owner's contact information, they again cited their "company policy" as a reason not to provide it. This place is poorly managed and overpriced. Spend your money elsewhere.

• Peter (9/5): The Hita - The staff were wonderful. Had a little kitchen at everything you needed. Bed was very comfortable and they had a little safe in the room. If you wanted to lock anything away. The refrigerator was just a mini fridge. So no ice and in Bali. I want to bake makeice. Don't know if all the rooms are the same but watch out entering bathroom. You don't hit your head on to the kitchen cabinet to your left. Also on the main TV channels, there were none in english. They showed me how to use YouTube. And I got my entertainment fixed. That way. I did get to watch the live surf contest from Tahiti. And I watched a lot of auto racing and moto GP. So that is a plus and a minus it worked out.

• Joshua (1/5): It’s a garbage place. - There’s not much to like the rooms are poorly built and poorly maintained. Enter rooms without knocking. Aircon didn’t work. Bath leaked into the floor underneath. Mic in the property. The room bleeds light so it’s hard to sleep. The door is so thin that light leaks in. The curtains are super thin so light leaks in.

• Jason (1/5): They will steal from you - The front desk staff was polite. No safe in the room to store valuables and housekeeping going through my bags and stole $100 bill. They would also steal other small items.suck as cookies/snacks. Air conditioner too small for the room and can't cool the room during the day. Tried to charge 2% credit card fee when I arrived but it's not listed as an extra charge when you book. Had electric issues and damaged some computer equipment. Very poor experience overall.
• Grace (8/5): Quiet and central. Good value for money - Really good for the price. Cleaned every day- not a thorough clean but a basic one. Comfy bed. Basic but good. Lots of lighting options. If more attention to detail was given could be a great place. Great value for money. Good location. Very quiet. Water dispenser only gave warm water. Drains are all a little blocked. Messy paint jobs. Marks on bathroom sealing. Badly finished door frames. Most of the room is badly finished. Could be such a great space.

• Tailua-nalay (6/5): Pleasant - The host was super helpful and very kind. Anything you needed, she would always try to meet your expectations. The cleaners were always kept our room clean whenever we weren’t home (which was everyday) and always asked when they can clean the room which was very respectful. Nothing was touched besides what they had to do which was clean our bed and bathroom. Any time we needed fresh towels, it was always supplied clean and fresh. Wifi works well and the aircon is perfect. The walls are thin, you can kind of hear the next room. The toilet has a little stench smell but it was bearable because of the fan on the ceiling.
