Dépaysement total Quelques trace d'humidité a l'entrée de la salle de bain dû sûrement au manque de protection de la douche (attention moquette)

• Will (9/5): - Beautiful location with historic grounds and architecture. Very clean and extremely comfortable. Restaurants/ food were amazing ! We did book this location primarily because they offered a golf experience while we were in France. Unfortunately we were never informed, until a couple of days before our arrival that tee times were unavailable during our stay due to a tournament that they were hosting. This was a huge disappointment for us, because by then it was too late to reschedule our trip. Beyond that, everything was first class and a wonderful experience.

• Clair (3/5): Disappointing but nice view - Open space Where to start. Transfers they arranged didn’t arrive then we were overcharged. Thought it was a shame that we were charged €25 each for the spa as we booked it as a spa hotel. Very limited resources in terms of what to do. The bistro was nice for evening meal but restricted hours for basic snacks. Room was disappointing. No dressing table with mirror or place to do hair or makeup. Shower had no curtain or door so got flooded. Decor quite dated. Loose electric plug socket. Mostly a golf club rather than a hotel or spa experience. Very disappointed, not worth the money.

• Catherine (10/5): Most amazing stay - Wow! What an incredible stay. We wish we booked for longer, from start to finish we were impressed. Very clean, comfortable room, after a busy weekend this stay was exactly what was needed to catch up in sleep. The pool was so relaxing. The dinner in the Michelin star restaurant was amazing, we chose the 5 courses, although I feel like we ended up having around 9. Every course was delicious, the staff serving were knowledgeable and delivered each course to the table with style, they didn't mind catering for me being gluten free either. We had two fantastic meals in the bistro too, where also the quality of food was 10/10! We would have liked a better hairdryer in the room

Nothing .. well, not enough lounge chairs were by the pool, I went twice ( 2 days) & never was able to use either pool with not enough chairs to sit . Disappointing while paying for the amenities being a hotel guest .

• Wyn (7/5): Great dinner. - Peaceful, rural setting. Extremely good 5 course dinner on the terrace of the Michelin starred restaurant. A blowout extravagance. Attentive staff. A quiet seating area outside our ground floor room. Good air conditioning and wifi. On-site parking. Very limited clothes storage in our room (possibly not typical). An above the bath shower which seemed to be malfunctioning, and no anti-slip mat in the bath - a hazard that would be easily remedied. Most parking is a bit of a hike from reception.
• Rhys (10/5): Fantastic Chateau, beautiful settings and amazing food. - Chateau des Vigiers has an excellent Michelin star restaurant and wonderful bistro on site, Breakfast was lovely and the staff extremely helpful. You never need to leave the premises to eat extremely well here
• James (9/5): A little bit of r&r from a mad world - Beautiful surroundings, if you like golf you wont want to leave!! If youre a foodie, the Michelin star restaurant is fantastic. Limited bars and snacks available. No where on site to just get a simple snack, Bistro is largish meals and the restaurant is Michelin. If both closed, then only option is to go out.

• Cawb (8/5): Lovely quiet Chateau Golf resort in great wine country south of Bergerac - Large well equipped room in the main chateau. Excellent public rooms. Quiet country life. extensive grounds. Excellent Bistro Combined bath/shower. Early breakfast hours, that at 7-9am were half over before sunrise.

However at the Bistro the manager - a lady with dark hair and wearing trousers - displayed very poor customer service. I provide this feedback to you for improvement as having asked for her attention, she kept me waiting a long time whilst she spoke to staff. In the end we left ! Paying customers must be attended to promptly or they will simply vote with their feet. On Friday last week we spent Euro 150 between two at tbe Bistro and sadly we left last night due to poor service The service at the Bistro from the manager

Staff was very helpful, when we arrived they made sure we have a table at the restaurant tor our dinner, since we didn’t plan this in advance. The air conditioning is very convenient, and the small garden exit from the room was a nice surprise The room is a bit small, and you can hear people walking and passing by.

Found the Michelin restaurant a bit too formal and ambiguous with pricing. The bistro was excellent. Beautiful setting and surroundings. Bigger pool and easier access to it would be better. We didn’t like the Michelin starred restaurants, the surprise menu is not suitable for my husband as he has diabetes. Also, the pricing was totally ambiguous so you didn’t know how much you are paying for anything until the bill arrived.

It's a beautiful place with comfortable good sized room. Eating in Les Fresques was an incredible exclusive. But the Bistro also served really good food with staff in both radians restaurants going out of their way to look after you. Will definitely try to return! Hard to think of a single negative. Maybe the bathrooms were a little old

And they were burning the fireplaces, I loved that because the weather was lousy. There was a nice athmosphere in the restaurant we did have a dinner! We did have a prestige room, it was a little bit old fashioned.

• Awdry (10/5): All that we had hoped for to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.....a secret haven hidden away - Beautiful chateux and room with stunning grounds. The Michelin starred restaurant was a culinary exquisite experience and worthy of the cost although wines were very expensive. Cheapest £65. All staff customer care was faultless. It would have been nice to have a designated area you could explore the grounds without fear of upsetting golfers. Price of wine very high
