- Michael (1/5): Hotel decided to have the a/c in our room reparied while we were staying in the room! - I can't recommend this place, our stay was terrible. They decided to replace our broken a/c when we returned from a day trip and not whilst we were out. We had told them about our broken a/c the night before and no one could fix it. Instead of putting us in a room with a working a/c they got the tradespeople to start work in the afternoon when we returned! Our room was a mess with equipment and workers in it. Our door had been propped open so anyone could have grabbed our belongings. Beds were pushed together etc. They told us to go and relax somewhere else whilst working was being done. Management were USELESS. After much arguing with the on-site manager we finally got moved to a room that was not taken over by workers and mess. They agreed to pay money towards our dinner. No apologies from senior management who couldn't even come and say sorry to us even though they had the afternoon and next morning to do so, unfortunately there's not much accommodation in Luderitz. This is the condensed version it was actually worse but I need to stop. See pics of what we came back to after being out most of the day. Everything, apart from the restaurant which was lovely.

- Dirk (9/5): Erste Wahl für eine tolle Aussicht auf die Lüderitz Bucht - Etwas älteres, aber dennoch sehr gutes Hotel mit schönem Blick auf die Lüderitz Bucht mit der Felsenkirche. Freundliches Personal. Im Zimmer Klima, gutes Wifi, Kaffee-/Teezubehör, Kühlschrank, Bad / WC und großes bodenhohes Fenster. Im Innenhof befindet sich ein Pool. Das Lunch sowie das Frühstück waren solide, das Dinner hervorragend. Nett eingerichtete Lobby mit Bar. Gesicherter Parkplatz. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen! Der Poolbereich sah nicht einladend aus, voller Vogeldreck, der Pool selbst abgedeckt, die Poolbar geschlossen. Kein Wunder daß keiner da war. Die Stühle im Außenbereich des Restaurants waren unbequem. Die Bar war nach dem Abendessen nicht besetzt.

Essen sehr gut.Tolles Frühstück. Kann man nur empfehlen. Zimmer nicht besonders groß und auf den Balkon bekommt man nicht einmal einen Stuhl. Aber das ist alles nicht so schlimm.

Ein nettes Hotel, mehr aber auch nicht. Das Nest Hotel lebt von seiner Lage. Beim Frühstück muss man zB Cappuccino etc extra bezahlen, das finde ich bei den aufgerufenen Preisen nicht i.O.

- Jean (10/5): Excellent accommodation and experience we will certainly use again when visiting Lüderitz. - Lüderitz town and Shark Island are in walking distance. Rooms overlooking the bay are comfortable and modern. Good selection of Hot and Cold breakfasts with cheerful helpful staff. The reception area with open log fire and comfortable seating close to bar was welcome after a busy day and dinner. The pool cover was on through out our stay presumably to keep clean. Would probably have been removed if we had requested it, but in the event we decided not to bother.

- LINETTE (9/5): ALL GOOD - THE RESTAURANT MENU WAS DECEIVING AS MY HUSBAND IS DEADLY ALERGIC FOR IODINE AND IT SHOWED ON THE MENU ONLY ONE MEAL THAT WAS SAFE. SO THEY NEED TO UPDATE THAT FOOD PRICES A BIT EXPENSIVE AS WELL AS THE LAUNDRY SERVICE - WE STAYED AT A LOT OF HOTELS AND YOUR PRICES WERE VERY EXPENSIVE
- László (10/5): Nagyon jó - A város szélén, nyugodt helyen van. Bejelentkezéskor rossz szobát kaptam amit fél óra mulva korrigáltak. Svédasztalos reggeli kíválló és széles választékkal. A bár és az étterem is kitűnő. Kijelentkezés után még megengedték, hogy az autó a parkolóban maradjon. A személyzet nagyon baráttságos volt. Bár nem olcsó mégis csak ajánlani tudom. Minden jó volt.

- Boy (9/5): Verouderde accommodatie, maar een geweldige keuken - Het meest beviel de voortreffelijke keuken met oesters,kreeft en voortreffelijk door Mackey aan tafel bereide crêpes suzette. Ook het ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk De accommodatie is echt verouderd, de kamers hebben zeker 30 jaar geen upgrade gehaddat is jammer want de ligging heeft zeker potentieel.

Pepe and the bar staff especially the slimgirl with dark hair. The food was supposed to be amazing and it was less than average,The first receptionist did not greet us well. The descriptions of the rooms did not express the benefits of a deluxe room very well as compared to comfort level on booking . Com, neither did the pictures. Personally we would rather have had a ground floor room comfort level, coffee pods and larger tv not really important to us.

- Mirco (9/5): Tolles Hotel mit Meerblick vom Zimmer - 1a Lage - Tolles Hotel mit super Lage. Zimmerblick auf das Meer mit kleinem Balkon ist schon schön. Große Zimmer mit großem Bad, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet und man kann auch draußen sitzen. Tolle Anlage mit Pool und gutes Restaurant im Haus. Bewachte Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Super freundliches Personal. Lediglich die "Supervisor" im Restaurant könnten mal einen Kurs im Lächeln belegen... Vermutlich die absolute Nummer 1 in Lüderitz. Trotzdem wird man das Gefühl nicht los, schon auch einen stolzen Preis zu zahlen. Gefühlt 10-15% zu teuer, wenn auch alternativlos.

Les chambres très confortables donnent principalement sur la mer. Excellent dîner où les fruits de mer dominent. On peut juste lui reprocher l’accès par un simple chemin caillouteux qui ôte toute envie d’une balade au bord de mer
