• Shakib (1/5): Property it self seems like a ghost house - none I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your property. The advertising and sales points were misleading, and the actual experience fell far below basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. Misleading Breakfast Service – The listing advertised breakfast as a highlight, yet it was the same limited menu every day (omelette/boiled eggs, beans, packet cheese, poor-quality coffee), seemingly purchased from the same supplier. Moreover, the host displayed unprofessional behaviour while serving. No Toiletries Provided – Contrary to expectations and standard hospitality practice, no toiletries were supplied. When queried, the host simply stated "this is not a hotel," which is misleading given the property’s advertisement. Faulty Facilities – The air conditioner leaked water during the night, and I was instructed to turn it off until the morning, leaving the room uncomfortable. Additionally, we suffered a blackout because the prepaid electricity meter had not been topped up. Unhygienic Conditions – The property was not clean or sanitary. There were visible stains on bedsheets, pillow covers, and sofas, which is unacceptable. Water Supply Failure – In the middle of our stay, the property ran out of drinking water. Despite notifying the host promptly, the supply was only refilled the following afternoon, leaving us without safe drinking water for an extended period. Overall, the stay was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the advertised standards. I consider the property misrepresented and unsuitable for guests seeking a clean, safe, and reliable stay. I request that you review this matter urgently, take corrective measures, and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.

• micaela (10/5): - Our stay at Fred's apartment was very enjoyable. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and tidy. We booked several trips with him and the English guide. It was truly a unique experience.

Contratamos e pagamos um serviço de transporte, que não foi cumprido. Muito cuidado! A casa é suja, tem baratas, não tem lençóis, quarto banho tem vazamento, elevador não inspira confiança e escadas do prédio imundas. Não recomendo de todo!

The building wan a bit difficult to find but follow the side entrance of Costa coffee and its one of the two buildings opposite each other. The host was very helpful, he always replied very fast. The apartment was clean and conform to the pictures. The location is excellent, its in the heart of a lively neighborhood. it was very good stay thank you....

• Siyang (10/5): Exceptional - It’s located at the center of downtown, close to the Egypt museum with a walking distance. It’s located in a downtown apartment. The entrance was not easy to find but the stuff helped a lot. I drive around for more than half an hour and couldn’t find a parking lot. Eventually the staff called me and direct me to a public parking lot with 10min walking distance. Not recommended if you need parking. All the other things were perfect.
• Katinka (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in this apartment with our family and we were very happy. We slept like roses, the beds are very good. Although it is in the middle of town it is very quit. We liked the famous building and the rooms are very spacious and airy. The hosts were very nice too and easy to communicate with. We definitely recommend this place!
• Bartosz (9/5): Very reliable host and driver. Centrally located apartment with big confy beds. - First, It should be noted that we asked the host for an airport transfer from the Cairo Airpot expecting to land at 18:00. Our flight was delayed by 8 hours - we managed to notify the host with rather short notice and the driver was waiting for us at 2:00 a.m. despite such delay. That speaks very highly about the host's and his team's reliability and trustworthiness! The check in proces was quick and smooth despite the unusual circumstaneces (as above). The location is very central, perfectly safe and only some 6 minutes walk from the Egyptian Museum (the old one that still hosts the collection of antiquities) - we walked there with our kids. We had a good sleep in very big and confy beds. It was a bit cold in the apartment. That issue could probably be sorted by using the A/C - we simply forgot to ask the host how to operate it as we checked in at 2:30 a.m. (see above). The apartment is quite old as it is located in a 100 years old building. There are several lifts in the building, some of them are newly renowated, some not (still none of them seems dangerous). All that was not a problem for us. You should simply not expect anything fancy (especially at this price level in such central location).
• Tasos (7/5): 4 days in Cairo.! - The host and his brother are very kind and helpful.! The building is very close to center and everything..! The beds was very comfortable also.! The apartment is not just like the pictures, not so clean, we had to ask for towels and we had breakfast only one morning, we had to ask for it also... The water heater was leaking, so we had to close and open the water every time we need it.!

• Nitin (4/5): Disappointing - Good location. Helpful host. Spacious. Comfy beds. Not suitable if you are used to modern living. The property has old fashioned cooking and cleaning facilities. The elevators in the building are scary, almost from the previous era.

Host is very nice and if need anything, is happy to accommodate. Breakfast was provided almost 10 the first day but asked for earlier and it was provided. Cleaning not great. There was stains on bed linen, bathroom not cleaned properly and same for floors. When shower, water goes on the floor. There is stove but can’t switch on as no lighter. There was no tea or coffee provided since beginning but asked and they provided. Apartment building photo not the same as photo of listing.
• Alaaldeen (8/5): It was a memorable stay. The neighborhood is safe and the staff are cooperative. Keep in mind that this is in comparison - It is a historical building, built back in the 1930’s and visited by notable people. Including Farouk of Egypt. The whole building needs maintenance, furniture is outdated.
