• Itamar (6/5): Good apartment, mediocre host. - Super geat location—right on Gran Via, the best street I've been to in Madrid. Good facilities (washing machine, cooking tools, hot water at every hour of the day, space to work comfortably, big refrigerator). Generally clean. The apartment does not look like the pictures in the website. I wish I would have taken photos to upload them here. There was a lot of sun entering the room during mornings, which woke me up early, even when I put a shirt on my face (my lesson: buy a sleep mask in advance. The facilities were good, but I had to buy anything to operate them: detergent, salt, sugar, clothespins, the like. It's not awful, but it's just a worse experience than it could have been otherwise. The host gave me the Wifi password pretty late and didn't answer my question on whether there was a detergent in the apartment. I had to use a lot of my eSim's data in order to work the first day. That connects to the previous point regarding no salt, no sugar, and the like: these are half-minor in conveniences that mainly show a lack of thinking on the host's part, and create a worse experience for no good reason. It makes you start thinking what other things don't I know and would I need to prepare too—not the kind of thoughts you won't during a vacation/trip.

• Fanny (7/5): - Ausgezeichnete Lage mitten im Zentrum. Das Studio hat alles, was man braucht. Sauberkeit war ok, wobei ich bemerkt habe dass Schuhabdrücke auf den Stühlen waren. Etwas schwierig war die Kommunikation. Außerdem fand ich mich mitten in der Nacht bei der Heimkehr von verschlossener Haustür wieder, da einer der beiden Schlüssel, die man mit dem Appartement bekommt, einen nicht funktionsfähigen Badge hatten! Das war sehr unangenehm, aber ich kam zum Glück rein als andere Personen das Gebäude verließen.

• Said (1/5): Apartamento muy sucio, con sillas rotas y anfitrión desaparecido. - La ubicación. Suciedad importante, no había escoba para barrer, la tuvimos que exigir. Nos encontramos una araña gigante en la cocina. El anfitrión nos bloqueó al segundo día y ya no pudimos ponernos en contacto con él por ninguna incidencia. El sofá cama era horrible, muy incómodo. Éramos 3, y sólo habían dos sillas, una de ellas estaba rota. Ninguna instrucción sobre el check out, dónde dejar las llaves...

• Raquel (8/5): La limpieza debe mejorar - En plena Gran Vía.La ubicación era perfecta. La conexión wifi va bastante bien. La cama es cómoda. La limpieza se debe mejorar bastante.Las sillas estaban llenas de manchas enormes por lo que tuvimos que comprar cojines para sentarnos. Algunas toallas y la manta tenían pelos y tuvimos que lavarlas.El suelo estaba sucio.Tuvimos que comprar algunos productos de limpieza y limpiar para nuestra estancia.El lavabo y la ducha estan algo entrapados y no traga bien el agua por lo que hay que tener cuidado de que no se salga fuera. Echamos de menos una batidora y tapaderas para las ollas. El edificio esta en obras,por lo que un andamio con una gran tela blanca cubre las vistas.

• Marcela (10/5): Recomendable excelente ubicación y personal excelente y agradable trato y servicio de atención - La propiedad es comoda y el departamento estaba impecable el que nos tocó a pesar que no era al frente porque estaban arreglando el frente del edificio de todas maneras el personal súper amable se presentó y nos ofreció mudarnos a otro departamento a metros de ahí que estaba muy bueno y cómodo era exterior como habíamos reservado si necesitábamos algo lo resolvieron enseguida muy amables Pasamos una estadía muy cómodos el departamento no estaba a estrenar como el anterior pero estaba limpio cómodo acogedor y muy agradable Muchas gracias por todo Todo ok

After asking a couple of Times during the second day, we Finally got another room but it was loud as hell, the AC and Window isolation was ancient and there was Constant construction work going on (construction Workers passing the Windows of the appartement in the 6. Floor). My mother and me had a Terrible experience here
• Anita (1/5): TERRIABLE, DISGUSTING - Nothing, DON’T BOOK IT! SCAM LISTING – DISGUSTING, MISLEADING, AND UNINHABITABLE!! DONT BOOK IT! This was hands down the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. If you’re considering booking this apartment, DON’T. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the total disappointment. We arrived to find a completely different apartment than what was advertised. The photos were fake. A dirty, broken-down flat in a disgraceful condition. The toilet had human feces smeared on the side when we arrived. There was a bug in the bathroom. The place was full of dust and reeked of paint because there was ongoing construction nearby, which was never mentioned in the listing!! No balcony access! The toilet barely worked, and the rest of the flat was just as bad. We tried to contact the host immediately about these serious issues, and instead of helping, he BLOCKED us on WhatsApp and ignored us completely. Beyond unprofessional, it was downright cowardly! To understand what was going on, we even spoke to the building's receptionist and other residents, and guess what? They all confirmed the host is known to be a liar and a coward, and that this kind of behavior from him is not a surprise!! Every single thing he told us was a lie. The apartment, the conditions, the promises ,all fake. He made us feel completely scammed and abandoned. Even after reporting everything to Booking.com on the day of arrival, we’ve had no proper help or compensation. So not only was the host a scammer, but Booking has so far failed to protect its users from fraudulent listings like this. Avoid this place at all costs. Nothing but lies, filth, and stress.

• Floresd34 (3/5): Non serious renters. Safety concerns. I would not recommend - Just the location. Customer service very rude. They do not respond messages through booking. They send you a WhatsApp number and do not pick up calls. I had to sent several messages to get the details for the check in. When we arrived at the flat 10pm in the evening, we couldn't enter. They refused to pick up the phone and very rudely told me to read the messages. They forgot to send the second half of the instructions and I only got it at that time in the evening after several calls and messages. We were in contact for 3 days before the arrival date. Not even an apology, they just stop responding at all. On top, of all this, our flat key ALSO opened the flat number 5 meaning that they could also open ours most probably. Elevator was broken, the AC didn't work and there was an electrical problem that created a blackout in the building.
• Ivanisevic (2/5): Fake pictures, it’s a single room instead, no internet inside and clogged toiled and shower - Location is very good and it’s in a safe neighbourhood A lot. First, we were put in a smaller single room apartment instead of double room apartment that it’s in the pictures. So many stuff was not working there and manager/owner never responded my texts and he was always hanging up calls. There was no internet in the apartment. Toilet and showers were clogged plus the hair dryer was not working. There was only one bed made up for sleeping even if we booked for three of us in two beds.
• Mani (8/5): Great apartment. Will definitely book again - I stayed in this building a year ago and left a very scathing review. I'm pleased that a year later, my experience was very different. There was a slight hiccup on my first night. The apartment was not ready, so I had to stay in a temporary unit for one night in the same building, which had a very strange air extraction system toilet. The following day, I was moved into a lovely modern apartment that was well equipped with a comfortable bedroom. It was not overlooking Gran Via, so it was relatively quiet during the night. Great location within walking distance of Temple Debod and the Royal Palace. There are bus stops and metro stops within a few minutes walk along with cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. Amazing location. There is building work taking place, so if you expect to have a lie in, this will be unlikely beyond 8am.

• Amanda (6/5): Great location poor soundproofing and toilet system - The beds and sofa bed were comfortable Location unbeatable Shower roomy and comfortable The toilet uses a suction system (like an airplane) so toilet paper must go into the bin. It makes loud noises at random periods even when not being used! The lack of sound proofing makes it difficult to have a restful sleep as the apartment is on a main street. There was a generous amount of power points but location of light switches was odd and inaccessible.

• Brian_k (8/5): Good budget stay with a kitchen. Would go again, but with reduced expectations. - Great location. Nice views. Big place. The bed and pillows are ultra comfortable! The electric toilet was an unpleasant surprise and not made practical enough. Lots of shabby and unfinished details (mount for hand shower broken, no shelves in kitchen for any food). Black mold in shower, W.C. needed a clean on arrival, gunk on W.C. walls. No trash replacement bags. The problems were reflected in the price, which was lower than many others, which is why I didn't give a lower score.

They did not provide us with enough utilities for the whole group (like tissues, toilet paper and etc.) and the whole apartment smelt funny if someone from the other rooms (like neighbours) cooked anything
• Mani (6/5): Value for money with areas of improvement required. - If you want to be in the heart of the action, the location of the property was excellent. It was within walking distance to the Royal Palace, Temple Debod, Plaza Mayor with multiple bus stops located outside. The property was well equipped with what was needed for the stay. The building is lovely and felt secure. There was minimal noise within the building from other tenants and residents. Cleanliness. The floor and surfaces were covered in dust. I don't know if this due to a lack of cleaning or whether the property had sat vacant for a period of time, but I had to spend an hour cleaning it myself. The communication with the host/property management company was below par. I sent two messages via Booking.com weeks before the check in date and did not receive a response. I attempted to call using the contact numbers provided via Whatsapp and still received no communication until the day of check in. This had left me very nervous as to whether the booking was still in place. Also, a couple of days after checking in, the electricity went off during the middle of the night. Out of courtesy, I waited until the morning to message the host and let them know, but did not receive any further contact. Thankfully, a friend of mine in Spain suggested I try and find the mains circuit box as the switch may have tripped and needs to be flipped back. I was able to do this and restore the electrics, but the lack of communication from the host was disappointing. Due to the property location, it is extremely noisy day and night. The apartment was on the 2nd floor and I did not have a good night's sleep during my stay due to the constant outside noise of people and sirens/traffic. The property was very cold during the night and early morning with no controls visible to adjust the apartment temperature.
• Lacey (8/5): Very good - Location excellent .Very comfortable .Spacious for what we needed .Being on 6th floor was a bonus as traffic noise minimal .Keys pick up and transportation from the airport was excellent . Toaster was faulty and didn't work .Roller blind in living area broken .Would have really liked a normal kettle as we are tea drinkers .
