Guest Reviews
- Phil (10/5): Highly recommend if you're looking for time to switch off or equally as a base to local attractions - Lovely stay in a peaceful rural area..easy to drive to. Plenty of walks on the doorstep. Cottage had everything we required for a relaxing stay. Patrick & Shirley were very helpful and breakfast was delicious.
- Patrick (8/5): Very good - Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Very clean with excellent hosts. Found it difficult to find the property. More detailed directions might help.
- Tony (8/5): Comfortable, great hosts and lovely breakfast highly recommend - Very clean and well laid out
- Brian (9/5): A cosy and comfortable haven, in a peaceful and beautiful area of Ireland. - A most peaceful and relaxing stay, with excellent service and support from Shirley and Patrick! The lack of access to WiFi, which would help many guests when it reaches this area.
- Shaun (10/5): Stunning stay! - Beautiful hosts, magnificent cottage. Shirley & Patrick were so generous and kind to us. We wanted for nothing. Washing machine was easy to operate, beautiful hot showers and a hot cooked breakfast both mornings with freshly squeezed orange juice! The cottage was so spacious and beautifully decorated.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (9/5): Would recommend to everyone for that extra special stay in comfort with excellent hosts - Breakfast was outstanding, fantastic fresh eggs went down a treat.
Ideal location with beautiful surroundings and views. Maybe a few more mats on floor to keep my feet warm 😊
- Bernharrd (10/5): Short (one night stay) but would recommend this property as a peaceful cosy experience - Excellent breakfast, home made brown bread very tasty. Hosts very welcoming. Cosy cottage.
- Richard (10/5): This is a beautiful cottage which is run by kind and gracious hosts - The cottage is luxurious ,in pristine condition and equipped to a very high standard.
The breakfast was excellent with a choice offered by the hosts in advance.
The hosts were really helpful, pleasant and kind. They clearly went the extra mile to ensure that I enjoyed my stay.
The cottage is located in a very peaceful area on high ground, where the air seemed to be particularly fresh. The best route to the accommodation may be by taking the first left turn immediately after the Clonanav Fly Fishing Centre
(heading towards Ballymacarbry) and using the EirCode location code entered into a GPS system to navigate from there. The roads appear to be wider and safer using this route
The alternative default route suggested by my GPS System involved taking a left in Ballymacarbry village and travelling over very narrow roads.
- Divinia (10/5): Lovely stay in a quiet, rural landscape. - The bed was comfy, the cottage cozy & the peace and quiet of the place was amazing. Our hosts were wonderfully attentive, and it was a really great option for us. Home made bread and freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious! Would stay here again!
- Mary (10/5): Wonderful hosts in a great location, we’ll definitely be back 😀 - The breakfast was restaurant quality & so generous. Catered for all our needs. The location is a good combination of peace & quiet, with lovely walks & scenery & access to tourist attractions eg Dungarvan & Lismore. Maybe 🤔 provide maps if walks in the immediate area?
- Fernandez (9/5): Once you get there everything was ok. Nice people. - Nice place. Difficult to get there.
You need eircode in advance.
- Andrzej (10/5): Exceptional - 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
