• Kengsslee (10/5): - The entire place is very tastefully built and decorated. The owner is an architect and he had fully designed and partially built the place on his own. The owner had provided us his contact number and is almost always reachable. The terrace is very large and perfect to hang out if you decide to take a break from the city. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook a full meal. The dining area can seat up to 7 pax. The living room consists of a large couch and 2 other seatings. The couch can be converted into a sleeping bed for 2 pax. The bathroom contains the standard utilities plus a washing machine. We love this place! We are recommending this to our friends. The place can be very warm during day time as the sun shines directly in. This is solvable if you just turn on the air conditioner (there is 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs)😀
• ALAIN (10/5): Soigné et bien équipé - L'emplacement est idéal si l'on a un véhicule, à deux pas d'un parking quasi-gratuit et fermé la nuit, Le centre ville est à quelques minutes à pied. La terrasse sur le toit est très agréable. La décoration est jolie et soignée. Tout l'équipement de la maison est très bien - on y verrait bien une machine à café, mais la petite napolitaine fait déjà l'affaire. On y reviendra sans hésiter. Quelques rangements dans la salle de bains (étagère et/ou petit meuble sous le lavabo) seraient bien commodes, mais c'est un détail.

• Max (10/5): - Fabulous spacious inner city apartment in a quiet neighborhood. A true home away from home. An easy walk from nearby parking with just a few steps up to the apartment. A very comfortable bed with air-conditioning in the lounge area and upstairs in the kitchen dining. Well equipped kitchen and lovely terrace to sit out for meals. Only 5-10 minutes walk to the historical centre and fish market and an easy walk with luggage from the Alibus station nearby which takes you to the airport for 4 euros. Great communication and advice from both Thomas and his son Matteo. Highly recommended base for exploring Catania. We also caught the local bus from here to Taormina for a day trip, which was 17 euros return for 2 of us. It was way easier than driving, and parking would have been, and you were dropped at the top of Taormina.
• Guest (9/5): - The apartment was very clean! It’s a very comfortable apartment. Personally I really liked that the kitchen and terrace was upstairs. The host was very kind too. I would recommend the accommodation to our friends and family. Location was a plus too, good restaurants are within walking distance and with the steps (like Lime, etc) it’s very easy to go to the beaches.
• Nicoleta (10/5): A delightful experience - The location was excellent. The property is in the old part of Catania within walking distance to all the attractions. The house is spacious and very clean. The decorations are exquisite with lovely fishing motifs everywhere reminding you that the sea is very near. The marine theme of the interior sets up an appealing peaceful and comfortable mood. The owner, Thomas, is a very gracious and welcoming host and gave us all the necessary information. Thank you for the advice, we especially enjoyed eating at Prestipinio sampling all the delicious food. We had a wonderful holiday and we will surely come back! There was nothing we did not like. Everything was perfect! It was a very pleasant experience.
• Daiana (10/5): Ottimo soggiorno - Questo appartamento a Catania ci ha davvero colpiti per la sua splendida architettura: ogni dettaglio è curato con gusto ed eleganza. All’interno non manca nulla, è completo di tutto, estremamente pulito e molto comodo anche per la posizione, vicinissima al centro. La terrazza è un angolo speciale dove rilassarsi, davvero carina e ben tenuta. Un’ottima scelta per chi vuole vivere Catania in tutta comodità!

L’appartamento, oltre a trovarsi in una posizione ottimale, è stato curato in ogni minimo dettaglio e dal vivo risulta essere ancora più bello che in foto. Sicuramente se dovessimo tornare, sceglieremo ancora questo posto. Consigliatissimo.

One of the standout features is the gorgeous rooftop terrace. It's beautifully decorated and offers a lovely spot to relax, whether for your morning coffee or unwinding after a day of exploring. Inside, the apartment is just as impressive – beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Being close to the bus station makes getting around a breeze, even without a car. It's an ideal base for both local exploration and wider adventures. Overall, this apartment is a gem. Its perfect blend of prime location, thoughtful amenities, and charming decor makes it an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting the city.

The property had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Close to the bus station means days out and transport to and from the airport are easy if you don't have a car.

• Oleg (9/5): Storm weekend in Catania - Our experience was well in this cozy building, which had a lot of interesting and historical trivia. The host is very polite, friendly, pleasant, sociable, told us everything we needed and even more, if we had any questions during our stay, he kindly answered them. Despite on during our stay was storm and first night something was broken on the roof host fixed it on the next evening which very thanks to him! If you asked us if we would come back here, my answer would be yes, because I like it and believe that all these cons points can be easily fixed. house was poorly cleaned(dust on furniture, hairs on the floor and bed); - cellular network was bad but the internet in this house(wifi) was terrible(maybe the reason is the storm that was during our stay); Bedroom/Living room: - In my opinion, there is an issue with a privacy, I was looking from outside through the window/door and if you look closely you can see what's going on inside(the curtains are translucent a bit, agree, roller blinds is much better for this small low-light house); - there were hairs on the bad which we had to clean it up because it looked like it had been cleaned very poorly; Bathroom: - door in the bathroom is not fully closing(there are no borders and walls in the shower and water spreads on the floor which led to the swelling of the door at the bottom); - shower is not convenient for tall or big people, the shutter is touching you, unfortunately, while taking a shower; Kitchen: - there are no towels in the kitchen; - there is an old and dirty sponge under washbasin so we cannot wash dishes properly; - there was a little bit garbage in the trush bucket; - spoiled coffee that the owner would have been better off throwing away..

• Thefemalesolotraveller (10/5): A beautiful stay in a beautiful city! - My stay at Ciaurimari Sicilian Suite was exceptional. In the beginning, I was a bit skeptical seeing only one review and a higher rate compared to the average stay. However, in the end, I decided to risk it and I really don't regret it. The property is brand new, recently renovated, with excellent amenities—nothing is lacking. On top of everything, there are two bicycles provided by the host free of charge to explore the city and go to the beach, and even a beach umbrella free to use. The rooftop terrace, the kitchen and living area, are all very beautiful and comfortable, especially in the evening for stargazing while enjoying a glass of wine that Thomas, the host, provided upon our arrival. The terrace has comfortable lounge chairs, and the loft bed is a delightful touch. Despite the alley where the house is located initially seeming a bit run-down, the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Thomas, the host, is very attentive, treating us like friends and providing extensive information about the local tourist attractions. Additionally, just a few steps from the house, he owns a tourist agency where we booked an excursion to Mount Etna. Although the nightly price initially seemed a bit high, I realized that the offering far surpassed other properties with similar features. In summary, Catania is undoubtedly a city worth visiting, and Ciaurimari Sicilian Suite is the best place to stay!
• Carla (10/5): Exceptional - I was looking for a place to visit the city that was downtown but not too chaotic. I was looking for the scent of the sea that throughout the year I miss so much and so the name of this property immediately attracted me. But there were so many more things we found in this apartment! All clean, nice, furnished with a special taste and an artistic touch, equipped with every comfort. What I liked most: the raised wooden bed and the terrace. The thing I did not like: having to leave. We will definitely be back, Goodbye Catania!
