• ROBERTA (7/5): A cosy no frill, convenient, perfect spot in Agrigento - The place is in the perfect spot near the Duomo/Cathedral - stunning area. Cute decor and cosy. I found it a bit "tired" - needs a bit of TLC but very convenient location. The shower in my room (which was the top floor one/mansarde) was good but only if you are not taller than 5.4 ;-) Shame you don't meet the host - all done via whatsapp but the place was OK. Coffee machine working. Had everything I needed but don't book the top floor room if you have very heavy luggage and are not mobile at 100% as the stairs are very steep. Romantic feel though over Agrigento's roofs!
• monica (3/5): Peccato davvero, poteva andare molto meglio. - Purtroppo quasi nulla. Scomoda da raggiungere a causa della via molto stretta e dei parcheggi selvaggi. Un delirio ogni volta. La stanza, probabilmente la più piccola e meno accogliente della struttura. Pulizia inesistente, già la prima sera c’era parecchia polvere da non farmi nemmeno dormire. In otto giorni non hanno MAI pulito la stanza. La prima sera ho dovuto contattare l’host perché mancavano i prodotti da bagno. Non c’era un armadio, dei cassetti, nulla. Solo un cavalletto di ferro con DUE appendini. Per due persone, otto giorni, DUE appendini. Può andare bene per una notte, al massimo due. Ma per otto notti è assolutamente impossibile.

• morrone (3/5): - Struttura situata in una via degradata all entrata una lunga scala ripida e scomoda difficile il trasporto bagagli, interno stanza ristrutturata bene

Pokój w miarę stary, łóżko w porządku - pościel czysta. Wspólna kuchnia pozostawiała wiele do życzenia pod względem czystości. Maleńka kabina prysznicowa - obawiam się że tęższa osoba mogłaby mieć problem z zamknięciem kabiny😝 i co najgorsze bardzo wąskie i strome schody. Jesli ktoś ma problem z poruszaniem napewno nie wejdzie. . A wszystkie apartamenty na 1p.
• simona (8/5): - Camera molto carina, curata, vista laterale sul mare di Porto Empedocle. Grande disponibilità degli hosts. Posizione vicina alla Cattedrale di Agrigento, in una zona molto tranquilla. La doccia è un po' bassina nella mansarda, per chi è molto alto può essere problematica. Le stanze non sono insonorizzate quindi si sente tutto dalle stanze dei vicini, tante scale non comodissime trattandosi di una casa storica e la posizione rispetto al centro storico è vicina ma Agrigento necessità di buona volontà per camminare perché è tutta in salita.

• Roberto (3/5): Le "comodità" di un ostello al prezzo di un hotel. - La posizione. Due federe non lavate su 5 (ho dovuto usare due magliette come federe). Asciugamani e un lenzuolo lavati con macchie. Cucina in comune non opportunamente segnalata. Mancava il sapone in cucina. Finestra con vetro rotto e maniglia non funzionante. Vialetto per arrivare all'appartamento sporchissimo e degradato. Per quello che abbiamo pagato mi aspettavo di più. Mai più.
• Ruggiero (1/5): Esperienza pessima, assolutamente non consigliato - L’appartamento si trova in fondo a una stradina stretta e malmessa, con escrementi di piccioni ovunque, mobili abbandonati per strada e palazzi fatiscenti intorno. La zona dà un senso di degrado e insicurezza, con persone promiscue che non fanno sentire tranquilli neanche ad arrivarci a piedi. Una volta prese le chiavi dal box ci siamo trovati davanti a una scalinata ripidissima e scomoda. L’appartamento, pagato ben 90€ a notte, era deludente: bagno minuscolo, lavandino e doccia praticamente inutilizzabili perché l’acqua non scendeva e si intasavano subito, probabilmente per tubature vecchie o strette. La mattina successiva ci siamo addirittura svegliati grattandoci, il che la dice lunga sul livello di igiene. Concludendo: struttura trascurata, sporca, poco sicura e con gravi problemi igienici. Assolutamente da evitare.

• Ruud (7/5): Clear instructions and comfy room - Checking in was very easy with clear and friendly instructions. We felt very welcome, although we never met the owner in person, which we think is a good thing, especially when tired after traveling so long. The room itself was very cosy and uniquely Italian. The view was also pretty nice. It was in a very pitoresque Sicilian neighbourhood. We had an amazing time. The beds were not very comfortable, I didn't feel very well rested when waking up.

• Alistair (10/5): Beautiful flat - reminiscent of Merchant Ivory films - This is a beautiful flat, very tastefully furnished and with amazing views in a location that could hardly be better for those of us who have a taste for history. The sunset views are at least as good as those shown in the property details. Absolutely loved this place. The only slight irritation is that the timed light on the stairs up to the flat goes out quite quickly. If you have more than one person going up or down the stairs to the street door it's best for each of them to press the hall light button, so that the light doesn't go out when you are part way up!

• Attila (10/5): Beautifully furnished room in Agrigento - Absolutely beautiful room with a great view on the sea. The place was super clean, the bathroom was nice and there was a kitchen just outside the room. The double bed was super comfy and the room can be blacked out completely for a good sleep. It's right on top of Agrigento, so if you don't take your car you'll have to climb quite a bit to reach the place, but there is parking nearby. Some noise from the neighboring rooms can be heard occasionally, but nothing too bad.

• Mund (8/5): Charming stay in a nice neighborhood of Agrigento - Nice quiet neighborhood, clean and beautiful apartment - nicely renovated old house! Right next to the cathedral with a beautiful view of the cathedral and towards the ocean The attic room was a bit challenging because of the low ceiling - takes some time getting used to. Poorly soundproof as we could hear everything from the family next door, getting woken up by children crying.

• Amaia (8/5): Great room with a view! - Nice stay at Afena, comfortable room with a great view. Little difficult to access but 100% worth it! I recommend.
• Mateusz (7/5): Good - Not a pleasant area. Street is dirty and stairs to the flat narro and not refreshed long time. This doesnt looks nice especially over night. Room itself is fine and clean, but somebody in surronding flats were very noisy. I decided to change already payed room to othe location.
• Katja (9/5): Superb - Hosts were very responsive and gave us instructions about the parking and self check in. I did not mind but this location has some steps to reach. I really liked that room was mostly out of wooden materials. Our room was at the top under the roof therfore in one section it has low ceiling so be careful navigating in that part. Shower curtain was a bit difficult to use and it did not prevent wooden floor to get wet all around the shower.

Old building which is beautiful but very noisy hearing other guests and water running. Poor sound insulation with noise from internally not external. Awkward shower due to sloping roof - hard to stand upright and curtain makes easy for water to go everywhere.
• Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Although we did not meet our host, communication and information for locating the B&B was super efficient. Lovely spacious and atmospheric room with sensational views over Agrigento , the temples, and the sea. Great location at the top of the town which was great exercise! Right next to the Duomo which is really worth a visit. The restoration is a lesson in sensitivity, reordering the interior, removing the usual tat and retaining the best monuments. The classical sarcophagi in the museum are sensational.
