• Ilona (8/5): - Location was perfect and for the off season prices we paid the stay was great. 2 minutes and we are at the gate. Host also is always available. Great place for a very short visit to come and sleep, but if you are in Dubrovnik for more than 2 days you may not get used to the smell that is coming from the bathroom. Place is old so sewage is also old. Even though we kept the toilet cover down all the time, bathroom smelled and in the morning the bathroom would smell even worse.

• DocBasu (10/5): Fab place right inside the old town. - Excellent location. Right at the heart of Dubrovnik old town. Literally few steps away from the centre, shops, city wall, information centre, walking distance to all land marks. Very near to Pile gate which is a transport hub. We have nothing to complain about. Smooth entry with door code and main apartment key was inside the property. Clear entry and exit instructions. Clean and tidy. We found everything as seen on photo. Slept comfortably overnight. Used the little kitchenette. Good communication from the owners. Felt safe and fully enjoyed our time in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. Definitely recommend it to others and will book ourselves for the next visit. Nothing. Just to be aware that there is no lift, only stairs as our apartment was on the first floor. Although we did not encounter any issue.

• Chye Hong (8/5): Location tops. Conversation with host is easy. - Nothing beats its location. Easy accessible from Pile Gate. Steps free till the front door except for the flights of stairs to get to your room. Bathroom floor tiles is slippery. For the elderly, just be careful.

W ostatniej uliczce starówki, więc cicho i spokojnie, a jednocześnie jeden zakręt od głównych uliczek. Kino koło 22 kończy seans, więc nie ma problemu ze spaniem. Ekspres na dole do wspólnego użytku gości, kawa, herbata. Baardzo miły dodatek!! Samodzielne „zameldowanie”. Właścicielka nie odpisuje na wiadomości. Na szczęście nie było to nic ważnego i wyjaśniło się bez Lokalizacja! Żadnych schodów ani wspinaczki! W ostatniej uliczce starówki, więc cicho i spokojnie, a jednocześnie jeden zakręt od głównych uliczek. Kino koło 22 kończy seans, więc nie ma problemu ze spaniem. Ekspres na dole do wspólnego użytku gości, kawa, herbata. Baardzo miły dodatek!! Samodzielne „zameldowanie”. jej zaangażowania. Poza tym nie ma nazwy na drzwiach noclegu. Trochę dziwne. Bagaże wprawdzie można zostawić ale przestrzeń jest wspólna, więc na własne ryzyko. Trochę słabo.

• Dejan (10/5): Excellent starting point to visit the old city - Excellent location in the old city. Bed was really nice. We got extra bed sheets since it was a bit cold for my wife. Very clean apartment. Coffee lounge and baggage area on the ground floor, very handy. The host was responsive and nearby for help and questions. Mosquitos at night but that was our problem since we did not close windows. Lack of normal car parking and crazy high fines if even passing by in non-residents cars but that is understandable. Dubrovnik is a very old city, densely populated. If you want to be within ancient city walls, that is a small price to pay.

• Andrea (10/5): DUBROVNIK eine Reise wert - Die Lage war großartig und dank der tollen Beschreibung leicht zu finden. Wir hatten das Appartement im 1 . Stock. In der kleinen Kochecke war alles vorhanden was man für 2 Nächte benötigt. Auch Salz, Zucker, Pfeffer war vorhanden. Sehr guter Kaffee zur freien Entnahme im Erdgeschoß. Geparkt hatten wir auf Empfehlung beim Radeljevic Parking 25 Euro für 24h. Mit dem Bus in die Altstadt ca 10 Minuten- Station Lapad Stanica 5 Minuten Fußweg, Busticket bekommt man direkt an der Station. Alle 4 Minuten kommt ein Bus bis oldtown. Hier ist direkt das Pile Tor Durchgehen und gleich rechts abbiegen. Fußweg bis zum Appartement 5 Minuten.

• María Paula (10/5): - La ubicación inmejorable, dentro de la ciudad amurallada. Esta cerca de la Pile Gate no hay escaleras para acceder al edificio . A nosotras nos tocó el departamento del segundo piso , ahí si había escaleras . Volveríamos ! Como para tener en cuenta, la puerta del baño estaba un poco hinchada . A la cocina le faltaría un horno o microondas . Tiene solo anafe para cocinar .

Además tienen el detalle de dejar cafetera en zona común y poder dejar las maletas sin problemas hasta la hora de marcharse y así poder disfrutar de la ciudad sin pagar un extra por una consigna.

• Tanya (9/5): Fantastic location in the old town. - Fantastic location in the old town. Great hosts , allowed to leave the luggage and late check out. The apartment is next to an outdoor cinema and movies run until 11 pm - didn’t bother us as we didn’t go to bed until midnight.

Very easy to enter the property and there are no steps. I overshot the turn for the property as we were enveloped by a big gang on a walking tour. The location is the first right after the Hard Rock Cafe.

• Jenna (7/5): Good - The location is amazing It's pretty basic and just a few little friendly touches would have been nice. The hairdryer stops working after just about 1 minute (I think it overheats then has to cool down and will start working again later). There is construction in a building just a few doors down that has jackhammering from about 8am until 4pm. If you want to come back to the room to relax during the day it is incredibly loud. I asked for the sofa bed to be made up for my niece that I was traveling with. It's not really a sofa bed at all. It's just a sofa that they laid a blanket out on, not even sheets.

• Davies (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed here with my Dad last week for 7 nights and it nothing but a dream. The apartment was clean, fully equipped kitchen, tv with Netflix and books. And it is right in the centre which saved us lots of money on transport. It’s also in a little quiet side street within the walls away from all the noise but still within a 3 minute walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants. Our hosts were also lovely and gave us a welcome basket on arrival and communicated with us throughout our stay. It was perfect. Nothing

Also, not even a full minute away from the Pile gate! Perfectly calm and quiet, super clean and cosy. They even prepared a snack basket which honestly was a life saver after a day of travel. I was a bit chilly end of March and I even got a heater to keep me perfectly warm. Super responsive hosts, perfect for a solo trip but the room was easily big enough for 2, even 3! -

• Ιωαννα (8/5): Very good - Ideal location in the old city. Off the main street and without stairs. The room was very clean and though we did not use, it had a small kitchen to prepare meals. They also offered us a bottle of wine!! Unfortunatly it was very noisy at night due to the old tranditional wooden windows, something that applies to ALL the houses in the old city. As we spend 7 nights there, taking out the garbage was also a problem..... couldn' t find big cans in the old city....

It’s so close to everything and seconds away from the pile gate entrance of the old town. Our apartment actually overlooked the outdoor cinema. I can’t fault the place at all. We were allowed to leave our bags downstairs upon arrival and we were still allowed to leave them when we had checked out. It’s off the Main Street of old town so we didn’t hear any noise at night. Can’t think of anything.

Toiletries, such as body wash and shampoo were given. The host was really quick at replying and when we asked for some more toilet roll she brought it really quickly and was so nice. WiFi was good. Can’t really fault it, everything was good.

Although the room was on the first floor so we still had to carry the suitcases up, it was overall not bad at all.

• Gia (10/5): Great stay - Great smaller apartment that I stayed in. Comfortable bed. Decent size living room, small kitchenette . Veryyyyy close to the entrance no stairs getting here, they do have stairs within the apartment building so you do have to climb up very narrow stairs. Otherwise great stay! Also the section it is in is very quiet! All was well the only thing is the AC unit is in living room, so it doesn’t really come into the bedroom, would be nice to add a fan!

Easy process (key pad) to get in at the bottom front doors. Would definitely recommend and I hope I’m lucky enough to come back one day.

Spacious studio - facilities for preparing breakfast. We could store out luggage until out afternoon flight after check out. There was a coffee machine and water in the downstairs area that we could use.

• Hanna (8/5): Very good - Perfect location. Nice bed and pillows. Very humid, mold on the walls. No soundproof so you hear everything from inside and outside the house. Shower door is not opening fully and it’s hard to get in and out.
• Becky (10/5): Exceptional - You cannot find a better location to stay in Dubrovnik. This sweet little apartment is tucked away in a corner 3 minutes from the Pile gate, 9 minutes from the Poce Gate where the airport bus stops. There are no stairs to navigate to the apt, but there are stairs in the apartment (ask for first floor if this is an issue). It is away from the noise of the crowds (as much as is possible in this crowded city)clean (smelled great!) and comfortable and much fresher than the photos indicated. We had a studio with a view to the outdoor theatre which was not operating until June. There are also one bedroom options available. Check in was easy and our host was lovely and attentive. Watching other people struggle with stairs, and imagining how loud our other choices might have been, we congratulated ourselves for choosing Iza Roka.
• Jessica (4/5): Disappointing - Host was very friendly, she recommended us recommendations of where we can visit. Place looks abit old, but it was spacious. Wifi was very slow, and most of the time it was working. Host came to fix it, but actually it didn’t help at all.
