catarina (9/5): Uma boa experiência em Belém - Gostámos muito do conceito: um casarão antigo muito bem recuperado no centro de Belém, que proporciona uma experiência mais intimista e tranquila, muito diferente de um hotel. A casa está muito bonita e bem decorada. Os quartos são agradáveis, com cama confortáveis, chuveiro bom e limpeza diária. Para o padrão da casa, o café da manhã poderia ser melhor e mais cuidado. Apesar da tapioca e do suco serem bons, falham nos detalhes do serviço e na apresentação do café da manhã. Além do sabonete, poderiam disponibilizar champô e condicionador.

Claudia (10/5): - Ganz herzlichen Dank für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Gastgeberinnen haben ein Kleinod in Belém geschaffen und sind sehr herzlich. Vor allem die größeren Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Der kleine Garten ist wie eine Oase. Das Personal war top und super hilfsbereit.
Amanda Fontanelli (7/5): Tem espaço pra melhorias - A casa é bem bonita, reformada, agradável. Staff prestativo, educado. Colchão, roupa de cama, travesseiros bem bons. A primeira suíte (8) era no andar debaixo em frente ao local de café da manhã, do lado dos banheiros comuns e atrás do local onde o staff fica. Entao era extremamente barulhento, dava pra escutar tudo do andar de cima, o staff chegava antes das 7h e dava pra escutar eles conversando como se estivessem dentro do quarto. Eu pedi pra mudar, e me colocaram numa suíte no andar de cima, que era bem melhor em termos de barulho, mas um pouco clara demais. Durante uma das chuvas (que é comum em Belém), choveu dentro do quarto, escorrendo pelas paredes. Entao eu acho que tem algumas coisas que dá pra melhorar.
Angelina (8/5): Eu gostei muito da acomodação, mas acredito que buscaria uma outra opção numa segunda visita a cidade. - Você realmente se sente em casa, a atmosfera da casa e a hospitalidade do anfitrião te deixam super a vontade no local. A rua é um pouco esquisita a noite, mas é muito próximo de muitos pontos turísticos, e durante o dia da pra ir pro mercado de ver o peso a pé. O café da manhã achei super simples, sou intolerante a lactose e glúten e não havia muitas opções, apenas ovo e frutas. O meu quarto aparentava estar fechado a muito tempo, no primeiro dia foi quase impossível conseguir dormir por conta do cheiro de “ambiente fechado”, tomei antialérgico e mesmo assim foi bem difícil, nos dias seguintes deixei o quarto aberto para arejar e melhorou muito. Além de que o teto era baixo e dava pra perceber muitas teias de aranha próximo ao ar-condicionado.

Monica (10/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Mariella und Jamie sind sehr aufmerksam und helfen bei Fragen gerne weiter. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielseitig und gut. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Bad sehr schön. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der wunderschöne, begrünte Innenhof, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Eine klare Empfehlung, denn wir kommen gerne wieder. ------

Julie (10/5): A hidden gem for those who seek serenity - This place is an oasis of calm, chic and beauty in a nutshell. Classy and artsy decor, warm, smiling and efficient staff and owner, comfortable bed, good shower, good aircon and attractive premises. I enjoyed the home-made breakfast, a bit expensive though, but plentiful, healthy, with an array of delicious fruit, freshly pressed juices, tapiocas, home-made cakes, etc Guests may also help themselves with coffee and cold water at any time. We could walk to main attractions (15-20 mn) during the day, but best call Uber in the evening. The surroundings are dilapidated and empty. Not attractive. We were given plenty of useful tips by the owner. Thanks to her. This place made our stay in Belem. A delightful moment. There is nothing we did not like. Everything there has been thoroughly thought through and planned to be beautiful and enjoyable. Only, we missed a hair drier and better nightstand lights to be able to read in bed.

Todos os funcionários e a proprietária foram acolhedores e presentes. O quarto era muito confortável e além disso recebemos dicas ótimas do que fazer, pontos para visitar e comer. Saímos sem querer ir embora.

Lone Flamingo (10/5): Historic and gorgeous. - The place is gorgeous. Has such a sense of place. Lovely staff also. Relatively easy walk to Ver-o-Peso Market and the central part of the historic center. Just wish I had figured out to get hot water in the shower sooner. Twist the thin extending knob, folks! Also, it's deserted after dark, so plan to Uber anywhere once the sun goes down.

Rodrigo (7/5): Acho que não voltaria - O cuidado com a decoração e com o paisagismo se destacam na pousada. O quarto do térreo cheirava muito a mofo. Como minha esposa é alérgica, pedimos a troca, e assim procederam para os dias disponíveis. Quanto aos dias não disponíveis, buscamos outro hotel. O cheiro de mofo, segundo disseram, é problema insolúvel numa cidade cercada por águas. De todo modo, o primeiro quarto beirava à insalubridade. O segundo era bem melhor, com cheiro mais ameno de mofo. Café da manhã caríssimo para a pouca opção que oferecem. As empregadas eram muito atenciosas; já a anfitriã pouca atenção nos deu.

Bruno (8/5): Um Oásis no centro de Belém - O pessoal da Casa Amazonas é muito atencioso. As proprietárias são muito solícitas e simpáticas. O ambiente é novo e tem um estilo muito bacana. O fica num antigo casarão belamente reformado. Recomendo. O único problema que tivemos foi o ar condicionado que não funcionou na noite do último dia, e como estava muito calor atrapalhou um pouco a nossa noite de sono.
Simon (10/5): Warm welcome at the best of Belem, Cas'Amazonia! - The welcome from all at Cas'Amazonia was amazing, the room and garden were beautiful and peaceful, and the team were all lovely. Before and after arrival the team provided a bunch of great restaurant and other recommendations that assisted my partner and I to have the best time at all the highlights of Belem. Coming back after exploring every day was like entering a secret sanctuary! They also helped us to take a long-weekend side-trip out to Ilha de Algodoal, sorting out a driver for us, making our stay even more delightful. Thanks to all the team for making Para one of the highlights of our time in Brazil! Muito Obrigado! Nothing to fault, such amazing hospitality!
Maura (7/5): Nice Pousada in a difficult to navigate town. - Boutique like Pousada, nicely appointed! Comfortable areas, nice courtyard and elegant common room to relax; good breakfast. Air conditioning worked well. The location did not feel safe and the street was isolated and dirty. There wasn’t any clear sign outside indicating the Pousada entrance. We did not feel safe walking there at night even though it was relatively close to areas of interest. If you stay- always use Uber after dark! Belém is not an easy town… Finally, The downstairs room we were assigned was a bit dark and damp; not sure about upstairs rooms.

Teniola (10/5): Exceptional - This was a wonderful experience. The staff were so kind and friendly, and also very attentive. It was located in a really central area, but on a quiet street so it felt like you were really tucked away in a retreat but could still get to most places on foot. The decor was beautiful, it made rainy days spent in feel so tranquil and relaxing, and the common areas were beautifully designed as well ! Can’t wait to come back

Lacked shelves in bathroom as there were nowhere to place toiletries, no bedside tables to place anything, would be great to have a bin inside room also (by desk or near by). Breakfast 50BRL per person seemed a bit steep for the location, plenty of better valued alternatives nearby.
