Guest Reviews
- Miha (10/5): - Amazing, warm and friendly people. Amazing dinner and breakfast, all food is locally produced (yoghurt, milk, meat,..)
Note that you might have to cross a river to reach the farm.

- RBatkin (10/5): - Warm welcome, beautiful location and excellent homemade food. The central heating was a little too warm at night.
- Guy (7/5): - I took the room there by default after the previous guesthouse broke my faucet. The location is quite isolated and you have to get off the road and drive 3 km to the place, but it is nice and it is isolated and it is a nice place to walk around the area around it.

- Philipp (9/5): - Sehr freundliche Gastgeberfamilie.
Google nas ni pripeljal do nje!
- Elisabeth (7/5): - Nice experience with an Albanian family and their farm animals. The served typical dinner of the region (extra cost 15€ pp) was really tasty as well as the breakfast. You could start to one of the best hiking tracks I've ever been to directly behind the house upwards. As it is a beautiful surrounding it would be nice to have more sitting options outside - I think they are working on it.
- Erlis (10/5): - Breakfast
- Petr (10/5): - Přátelští majitelé, vynikající poloha pro pěší výlety, skvělá domácí kuchyně.
- Purple (10/5): - I cannot express how much i loved this place! I felt so welcomed and at home. The family is amazing, the location is quite and beautiful. The meals where incredible, everything made from scratch and sourced from their farm. This has been my highlight in the Albania and I hope to come back soon.
- Dominika (8/5): - Moc milí lidé, ochotní a vstřícní, komunikace v pořádku. De

- krisztián (10/5): - Nagyon kedvesek a házigazdák, autentikus vacsora,, reggeli. Jól éreztük magunkat, Gyönyörű helyen. Enduro motor, vagy terepjáró ajánlott a megközelíthetőség miatt. (3km murvás terep)
- Nina (10/5): -
- Martin (10/5): A wonderful, family-run, local farm place. - If you want to get closer to a local life of farmers, running a family farm, working hard but keeping great spirit at the same time, come here. We enjoyed everything-the open hearted approach of each member of this nice family, the food that is produced locally, animals at the farm as well as the views and peace and quiet.
The trail to Trojani and other peaks passes the house, so you can start your hike directly from there.
- Rezart (10/5): A Hidden Gem in the Albanian Alps – Unforgettable Stay at House Guest Trojani - Staying at House Guest Trojani in Lepushe was one of the most memorable travel experiences we've ever had. If you're looking for authenticity, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality, this is the place.
This is a family run facility - and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and generosity by the hosts, who made us feel like we were part of their family. The guesthouse itself blends perfectly with its surroundings and has breathtaking views over the peaks of the Accursed Mountains. Waking up to silence broken only by birdsong or the gentle rustling of the forest is a luxury in itself. Furthermore, the house is right at the path to the majestic Trojani Peak. One of the sons in the family also offers guide services to the other surrounding peaks.
The rooms were simple but spacious and super clean. The food was homemade and sourced from their own farm or local producers. The rich flavors of their bio products, from fresh cheese, meats, salami to blueberry jam are something you’ll dream about long after your visit. We even tried to buy and take some with us - however, to our chagrin, the hosts gave us some as parting gifts. We had booked only for two nights as part of a longer trip, but definitely thought it worth it to stay longer and will return.
Practical tip: don't rely on Google maps as the road to the guesthouse is on gravel and not recognized by Google maps. Get in touch with the host, and they will come and pick you up from the center of the village. This is particularly important if you don't have a truck.
- Mariusz (9/5): Superb -
- Mario (10/5): Exceptional -

- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Justyna (3/5): Poor - The Young girl spoke very good English First of all, the route on Google maps is indicated incorrectly. There is another way, impossible to find without help, in horrible condition. It is impossible to ride this road in a standard car. We were travelling by a rented car in 4 People, a few Times scrached the bottom of the car so finally 2 People decided to walk this approx 2.5 km Road.
We booked two rooms, the apartments were cold and the boiler wasn't turned on so we didn't have hot water in any of two bathrooms in the afternoon when we arrived after mountain hiking and wanted to take a shower. The host suggested to use their private bathroom which was very incomfortable! There was only one toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. Not too clean.
Also, a Young girl invited us for a dinner, it turned out to be 15 € per person. Noone asked us before if we want to have a dinner. We would probably book it anyway but it is not the correct way to do it.
- Jonah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arnaud (10/5): Great homestay - Super clean, deep in nature, comfy bed, great breakfast Window curtains very ineffective
- Xhulis (10/5): Exceptional - Staying at this guesthouse was truly the best time I’ve ever spent. The place was spotless, and the warm, welcoming family who hosted us made the experience even more special. Meal was homemade by the family, and I can honestly say the food was the best in the world.
The room was very clean and cozy. This guesthouse is perfect for anyone looking to escape the noise and stress of everyday life. It’s surrounded by nothing but nature—greenery everywhere, the peaceful sound of birds, and the soft calls of sheep in the distance.
I felt like I was living in a dream. Pure peace and quiet. It was everything I needed.
- Marinela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - The family was very welcoming, and very helpful. The guesthouse stay was like spending time with a farming family. There were cows, pigs, sheep, goats, a horse, chickens and more. Most if not all of the food served as breakfast and dinner was home made. The sheep milk cheese was especially nice. The location is beautiful. There are at least three, perhaps more, wonderful day hikes to nearby mountain peaks from the guesthouse.
- Laura (9/5): Peaceful, remote stay! - Good location to do Mt Vajushës hike.
Bed was comfy, showers had good pressure and were warm.
The young daughter spoke good English and was very helpful.
They were also very good at helping me with transport to Lepushe as i didn't have a car and also picking me up from the main rd to the accommodation.
Loved all the animals at the property but I'm an animal person!
Overall good stay! My room in particular was very cold and they were unable to put the heating on.
The free breakfast could have abit more variety and coffee would be ideal.
Suggestion for dinner - A menu for dinner so you know what you're getting, even if it's just written on a piece of paper as i realise it may change frequently due to what is available as it's a remote location.
Maybe in the description on booking.com put the price of dinner so people are aware how much it costs before ordering.
- Janusz (10/5): Beautiful location, lovely hosts, spacious rooms and delicious food! Hope to stay again one day! -
- Ulaj (8/5): Very good -
- Seldian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robin (9/5): I absolutely recommend the accommodation, we enjoyed the place, the people, the animals and the food a lot ! - The hosts are so lovely and help with everything!
They have a little farm. The food they offer is everything selfmade from their own farm. It lovely to be arrounded by cute dogs, sheep, little pigs and chicken ! It is quite hard to find and the roads are really rough for people that are not sure to such „roads“ but it is manageable and if you have problems they even pick you up and bring you to the accommodation !
- Alice (9/5): Superb - The house was on a beautiful place, ideal starting point for hiking. The meals served there were incredibly delicious, everything homemade and homegrown, amazing. But most importantly, the staff made us feel like we were part of the family, absolutly superior service, friendliness and overall experience. We are definitely coming back!
- Tekim (9/5): Excellent host, wild nature, pure fresh air! - Host is excellent, very much welcoming, and it works well as a family business. They try their best to satisfy the guests needs and offer their assistance. For sure, will come back soon. There is lots of space and lovely animals playing around. Unfortunately infrastructure and the road is not so good. The authorities need to intervene and help this amazing village.
- Aferdita (10/5): An amazing service and views - Everything was good
Service was perfect Everything was excellent
- Aayushi (10/5): Amazing people and amazing views ( with amazing food) - It’s really a beautiful house with lovely people. The treatment is amazing. Must try their home made food.. so amazing.
The breakfast is amazing. The place is cozy and beautiful.
We recommend asking for pick you up because the last meters are kind of hard to go by car since the road is not in a good state. We would come back 100%.
- Nataliia (7/5): Good - Bedroom and bathrooms were nice and comfortable. Friendly owners made our stay pretty enjoyable. The food (breakfast and dinner) wasn’t tasty. The breakfast doesn’t include any eggs or bacon. Just sweet food which is okay for healthy people who don’t plan to hike a lot. But for me it was disappointing. In the Northern Albania it’s a typical situation, so make sure you pack some extra protein for your trip
- Katarzyna (10/5): An Unforgettable Stay with a Warm, Welcoming Family - We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful family-run accommodation and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the family, who went out of their way to help us reach their property.
The location is absolutely stunning, nestled among beautiful mountains and offering a true taste of village life. The fresh homemade food was a delightful highlight, giving us an authentic taste of local cuisine.
The surroundings are perfect for nature lovers. We enjoyed peaceful walks and were thrilled to go on a hike with the family dog, who joyfully joined us on our adventure. Additionally, the opportunity to ride their horse was an unexpected and wonderful treat.
The presence of animals added a charming touch to our stay, making it feel even more homely and inviting.
Overall, this accommodation offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and unique experiences. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape to a serene and welcoming environment. It was just perfect !
- Tamara (10/5): Great, comfortable, very friendly and delicious food! - Very friendly service and great food, we could take some of the breakfast on our trip as a snack/lunch. The family is great, with the kids being able to translate if necessary. The bathroom was enormously comfortable, would definitely recommend! The hiking paths in the direct neighborhood seemed to be “closed” with cut off trees blocking the path. We had no problem walking around but it was a bit strange.
- Xhuljano (10/5): Lovely experience - Lovely people, clean and comfortable house.
Will come back again!
- Sokol (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - great. smart daughter organizes everything. helpful. funny animals and nice location. nothing
- Jan213 (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice location (no problem to drive to the guesthouse with civil SUV), kids enjoyed all the animals around. We have strongly appreciated how the hosts took care about us when we broke a tyre (took them almost full day to manage it) - thank you!
Its literaly living in hosts hosehold, probably even in the room normally occupied by some of the family members. Very special experience.
- Kristian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (4/5): Not for me. - People are nice, the place is clean and the surrounding nature is nice. One VERY important is missing from the description of the property - it is VERY difficult to reach by anything other than 4x4 or a cross bike. One has to cross a river and that is probably worth mentioning.
The staff, which is in fact the family living there, doesn't understand a word in English. They were very nice and all, BUT had a party downstairs until quite late.
- Frederik (10/5): guesthouse like at home in beautiful nature - The host is a very kind family, you can feel at home. The breakfast and dinner we got was very good, homemade and plentiful.
The location is amazing next to beautiful mountains.
And there are many cute animals next to the house which you can enjoy.
- Elisabeth (10/5): Great stay at a family house - Fantastic family, extremely nice and helpful with everything. The mom even cooked vegan for me. The farm us a bit up at the mountain, quite and peaceful.
- Pia (8/5): Very good - It was very personal, a pure family-run business, all food is home- made and delicious.
- Dalibor (10/5): Exceptional - Very pleasant accommodation with a family in a homely environment. Comfortable rooms, large bathroom. Homemade food, big portions. Nice owners, helpful and attentive. You cannot come by car, you need a 4x4. The owner will come to the village for you. Convenient location for tourism in Lepush. I recommend.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good - Lots of animals on the farm, including lambs and puppies. All the food is homemade, like butter, milk, jams, salami. The family was very friendly and picked us up and dropped us off in the village when we needed it.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Petra (9/5): We spent a lovely time here. Pretty good food, host family welcomed us with open arms. Recommended! 🌟 -
- Layla (9/5): Superb - This is a farm house, warm and hard working family that provides nice and clean rooms, organic products from their own farm and transfers. The house is far from the tourist routes, in the valley near Lepushe.
- Silvia (10/5): Exceptional - The owners were very friendly and when we arrived to their guest house, they offered us fresh cheese with bread and hot herbal tea. Every food they offered us also in breakfast, is homemade, nothing is bought. Guest house was situated in the heart of the forest and it was amazing place to stay overnight. We Can just recommend this stay
- Gjergjitafa (10/5): Traditional Albanian style - The food was totally handmade with local products, nature with awesome view and hospitality like nowhere else in that area!
Clean room, bathroom and food service.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 totally deserved.
For sure we will return in this location.
