• benney syam (7/5): Good stay for short gateway. - Overall is ok, maybe can repaint the building. Breakfast are above average. Facilities are old but still can be used. Shaded parking lot. Fast wifi. Parking area surface are rough, might need repavement. Breakfast needs more variety. TV maybe need to be update to new bigger smart TV. Need to restore to former condition circa 2005.

• Hairol (1/5): Dilapidated Old Hotel - The decor at the Anjung suite looked old and rustic but that is not bad for it is what it is meant to be! The rooms were clean and tidy and the bed is comfortable. When we arrived, we have to take the trolley by ourselves and concierge is totally self service. The staffs at the reception desk were also not well trained in hospitality business. They need exposure on how other equivalent hotels front desk works. The bathroom ceiling in room 139 was leaking. The bathtub is not clean, the jacuzzi tub in room 139 was dirty and not functioning. When it rained the awnings leak and the whole veranda flooded. The food choices sucks. The breakfast was not worthy. The lift on the left wing was not working. The windows have not been cleaned. The sliding door does not slide! All in all the hotel needs a major refurbishment and good maintenance.

The equipment in the room was outdated - I was not able to use the iron and the fridge was not cold enough for me to store fruits. Room cld use something new like a updated iron. Bathroom can be updated - looks like it was in 1990s

• SHEAU JING (5/5): - the staff is very friendly, the environment is very good. The hotel was old and dusty everywhere. The air conditioner was also noisy, making it difficult for us to fall asleep.
• Siti Sarah (8/5): Relaxing getaway except the breakfast + clogged toilet issues - Huge room,coffee machine,room at lowest level, two TVs,aircond with adjustable temperature setting and ceiling fan Salah satu bathroom mudah tersumbat. Sinki tersumbat walau sekadar basih tangan. Shower cubicle bergenang air tiap kali mandi. Toilet pulak tak boleh flush dan tersumbat padahal guna sekali je. Mujur ada dua bilik air..kalau tidak memang dah oergi complain. Breakfast not so impressive,menu berulang dan tak banyak pilihan. Tempat makan sangatttt panas walau masih awal pagi.
• Kassim (8/5): - The water coming out from the tap/shower was rusty, which is quite concerning. On top of that, we had to wait quite a long time before the water cleared enough to use. This made it inconvenient, especially when you just want a quick shower after a long day. The management should really look into the water system maintenance, as this affects basic comfort and hygiene.

• Shireen (2/5): Dirty rooms and bathroom. Very disappointing. - friendly staff The carpet looked very old and even discolored. Rooms very dirty and looked like they had not been used. lizard droppings in the toilet paper enclave and the toilet paper tissue was stained brown ( indicative it had not been used for a while) we had to request for new toilet paper rolls. Bathroom sink and sides of shower area were dirty and the shower screen looked very dirty. Sink near coffee area was dirty. Overall quite sure that only bed linen were changed and no room/ bathroom cleaning was done. It’s unfortunate but we most probably won’t be coming back at least until any refurbishment is done.

The beach is dirty and full of rubbish, the facilities of the pool such as the hot jacuzzi and waterfall is not functioning and under maintenance, so the pool is boring.

It is not my first time there. When I went to Terengganu, Resort World was my first choice. I still remember the sound of traditional gendang in the morning and during sunset. There were also souvenir shops, batik for shopping, and the spa, which was a very relaxing experience. I hope the management will bring all of these back again Only one cafe is open. Hopefully, more cafés will open in the future.

• Byezura (9/5): - I loved the atmosphere n ambience the resort exudes. Upon arrival, it wraps you up in tranquility and a sense of comfort. Concierge help to get our bags to the designated rooms was a plus point indeed after a long, tiring journey. I especially liked that the tv provided a variety of clear 'watchable' channels! Maybe housekeeping should have a special trolley with the essentials at hand for emergencies that in-house guests might encounter. It was quite disappointing to be notified that this dept is open up to a certain time only. What if a mishap involving the soiling of bed linen happens after hours? Should a guest be made to rest on wet, soiled bed linen?

• DARIO (5/5): Albergo enorme ma quasi vuoto affacciato direttamente sul mare. Camere e mobili datati - Poco, forse la piscina e l'affaccio diretto sul mare e la spiaggia molto ampia. Camere con forte odore di chiuso, mobili datati di circa 40 anni fa, bagni non molto puliti e finestre vecchie con macchie sul vetro. Colazione passabile con giusto l'essenziale ma i dolci non erano molto buoni.

• ZAINAL ARIFFIN (8/5): The trip was calming and beautiful with unforgettable sea sounds and views - Resort World Kijal is one of those rare places where everything works together—the views, the quiet, the rhythmic whoosh of gentle waves, the luxury of doing nothing at all. Seeing rubbish all over the beach, that’s really frustrating, especially when a place is so beautiful 😔
