• Batya (10/5): Amazing staff with Nisha! - Nisha was exactly as described in all the other reviews! The sweetest and kindest woman! She helped me with everything and she constantly checked in to see if i needed anything. The food on site is absolutely delicious! The room was perfect with amazing AC and the shower was really good! It is located right by all the restaurants and there is a little supermarket about 3 minutes walk away so you have everything! I liked everything!
• Shayna (10/5): Lovely! - I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed with a mosquito net. The bathroom looked newly renovated and had an excellent shower. Both the air conditioning and the fan worked very well. The location is very convenient. It’s easy to walk to nearby restaurants and also to visit the main sites around Sigiriya, which made getting around very simple. The best part of staying here was Nisha. She is such a kind and lovely person and made me feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. She prepared wonderful breakfasts and dinners during my stay, the food was absolutely delicious!!! As a vegetarian, I really appreciated that she was able to accommodate my dietary needs so thoughtfully. Her food was the best food I had in Sigiriya. The portions were always generous, and the dahl in particular was especially good. I also really valued Nisha’s friendliness and her helpful advice about what to do and see around Sigiriya. She made the experience feel very personal and caring. I truly felt looked after during my stay! It was perfect!
• Erin (10/5): - Sigiri Heaven Villa is a lovely little guesthouse in a peaceful area set back from the main road, but walking distance to many cafes and restaurants and close to the famous lion rock and historic site. Host Nisha is attentive, kind, and will do whatever you need for a comfortable stay - and she is an amazing cook (I highly recommend you eat at the Villa, especially if you like authentic and spicy Sri Lankan food, as her cooking is much better than anything in town!). Breakfast was varied and filling. The room is large and comfy and there is good internet if you need to get online. Nisha also helped with organising transport to my next destination. You can take a cooking class next door with her mum, also!

• Lena Anna (10/5): Empfehlenswert - Alles perfekt! Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist in 2 Minuten an der Hauptstraße mit vielen Restaurants und Café‘s. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist der Lions Rock. Die Besitzerin hat sich um alles gekümmert und uns auch kurzfristig TukTuks organisiert und ein Taxi für die Weiterreise. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß mit großem eigenen Bad, Klimaanlage und Deckenventilator. Das Frühstück wurde von der Besitzerin frisch zubereitet, war sehr ausgiebig, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker.

• Dieta (10/5): - Ich fühlte mich sehr willkommen, es war in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft eine sehr herzliche, freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, ich wurde mit Tee empfangen. Es ist ein schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer, das Badezimmer mit scböner Dusche, alles fast wie neu. Klimaanlage funktionierte super, eine nette Terrasse zum Draußensitzen, in einer Zelthütre wird ein tolles abwechslungsreiches und üppiges Frühstück serviert! Alles mit sehr viel Liebe! Toll ist auch, dass der Lions Rock und nette Restaurants fußläufig sind. Die Gastgeberin hat mir sehr geholfen, vom Tuktuk über Driver-Service.. und tolle Tipps, einfach rundum sehr freundlich und wahnsinnig bemüht, dass ich mich wohlfühle und mein Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen wurde! Vielen Dank dafür.. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Alles bestens:-) Es gab keinen Wasserkocher und keinen Kühlschrank.. mir fehlte es aber nicht!
• Guest (10/5): quite, peaceful and clean place to stay - This family owned guesthouse will make you feel like family. The breakfast is delicious (and immense!). Nisansala helped me rent a bike, arranged early morning tuktuk rides and has a heart of gold.
• Gaia (10/5): - Tutto perfetto, la proprietaria ci ha accolto calorosamente. Ottima la colazione, ogni giorno ci ha cucinato delle cose diverse. Le stanze erano molto pulite, non abbiamo trovato insetti. La proprietaria è disponibile per ogni esigenza Nulla.

The location is perfect—close to attractions and restaurants, yet in a peaceful and quiet area, allowing us to truly relax. The host family made our experience even more special. They were incredibly kind, always smiling, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The home-cooked dinner with delicious local dishes was a highlight—we highly recommend trying it! Breakfast was also fantastic, with a variety of fresh, homemade foods to start the day. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Overall, an amazing stay with warm hospitality. We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
• Kirsty (10/5): Excellent homestay in Sigiriya - The family who run this homestay are so welcoming, friendly and happy. The room is modern, big, clean and airy, the bathroom is also modern with a fancy shower and plenty of hot water. We ate there both evenings and had delicious rice and curry which had different dishes each evening. The breakfast was also excellent with Sri Lankan food, toast, omlette and fresh fruit. The lady running the place kept us well supplied with tea whenever we wanted it. The location is great. It's near the main area but far enough away to be in full countryside so is very peaceful. All in all a great place to stay. There is no wifi, but that was mentioned in the booking description. A table to put your things would be useful.

• Goda (10/5): The most relaxing stay in Sigiriya - If we could, we would rate this place even higher! This is our favourite stay in Sri Lanka by far. The villa is quite new, so everything looks and feels fresh, comfortable and cosy. The shower is the best we had, as it has proper pressure and very hot water. Secondly, the family who runs this place are the best, so kind, lovely, helpful and fun to talk to. Always offering tea, coffee or any other drink. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was a proper Sri Lankan feast, so yummy. The villa is on a quiet road, surrounded by lots of trees and wild animals. It's like living in a little jungle! Thank you so much . We loved it.

The food prepared by our host was excellent. The whole family is soooo nice and helpful. They organised many things for us and everything was perfect. • Robert (10/5): A clean and comfortable room, at the warm and welcoming family house - It was exceptionally clean and the water was hot. The host family is fantastic- very warm, welcoming and keen to help. We’ve arrived late and yet they were waiting for us with a cup of tea and offered us a curtsey dinner. They’ve helped us to plan our day, logistics of the rock trip and an onward journey. Food was delicious!

• Krystal (10/5): lovely modern comfortable stay with amazing hosts - Modern villa, good showers, clean towels and big bed. Nice balcony. The hosts were so lovely with welcoming drinks, good bye drinks and fresh breakfast. Good location just 5 minutes walk to the town and 20-30 minutes to Sigriya rock. The fan was slightly noisy but worth having it on as it's a hot location
