• Henrik (8/5): - The owner Tarek and his staff acted exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were the only guests and were granted free access to the pool in a neighboring Hotel. The view of the Cheops pyramid from the roof terrace is amazing. It is noteworthy that the Government bulldozed half the already very poor neighborhood next to the pyramids to build a new road. However the neighborhood is still very safe and the people do not bother tourists unless you walk towards the pyramid area entrance. Then they do. Showerhead has seen better days.
• therese (10/5): A pure crystal innq - We loved the family that own and run this wonderful inn. They provide all and every assistance you could possibly need. Beginning with a stunning breakfast, we arranged all our trips through the hotel who organised the best drivers and the best guides. Their advice was spot on. Rooms were very comfortable, the view from the rooftop bar/cafe is stunning with nothing between you and the Great Pyramid. Total tranquility. I can recommend this hotel with every belief that you will find a new family and friends forever. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer at this excellent priced hotel that offers fantastic value for money. Would have got lost if we tried to walk from the hotel! Too many turns!

Par leur intermédiaire ,Mohamed est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport ,ponctuel ,très gentil. Nous avions aussi réservé via le cristal pyramid inn ,une journée pyramides plus grand musée ,c'est Shérif guide francophone qui nous a accompagné, c'était très très bien. Que dire ,à part que nous espérons revenir un jour au Cristal pyramid inn Rien Tout était parfait

The driver from the hotel (Adam) drove us to everything we wanted to see. He was a reliable driver , very friendly, punctual and he gave good information.

• Alexander Belavski (10/5): - Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Kareem und Tarek sind super herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Man merkt richtig, wie viel ihnen ihr Elternhaus bedeutet und mit wie viel Liebe sie sich darum kümmern. Sie waren wirklich jederzeit für uns da. Auch das ganze Team war total freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist einfach der Hammer – direkt an den Pyramiden! Die Atmosphäre und die Aussicht haben wir mega genossen. Das Frühstück war richtig gut, vor allem der frische Obstsalat jeden Morgen – wir haben ihn geliebt! Danke euch, Jungs, für eure ganze Mühe. Wir können das Gästehaus absolut weiterempfehlen und sind echt froh, dort gewesen zu sein und diese schönen Erfahrungen mit euch gemacht zu haben.
• Susanne (9/5): Ein empfehlenswerte Unterkunft nahe bei den Pyramiden - Die Lage ist sehr gut, vor allem der Blick von der Dachterrasse direkt auf die Cheops Pyramide ist einzigartig. Da sich die Unterkunft etwas entfernt von der Hauptstraße befindet, ist es wunderbar ruhig, allerdings befinden sich auch keine Geschäfte oder Restaurants in direkter Umgebung. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Besitzer, ein Brüderpaar, sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, sei es bei der Organisation von Ausflügen oder als telefonische Lotsen für Taxifahrer, die die Unterkunft nicht finden. Ausflüge, die man über die Unterkunft bucht, sind zwar etwas teurer als bei gängigen Buchungsplatformen, aber sie sind gut organisiert. Bargeld mitnehmen, denn bei Kartenzahlung wird Kommission dazu gerechnet. Das Badezimmer ist schon etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, Dusche direkt neben Toilette und kaum ein Gefälle zum Abfluss, so dass man schon während des Duschens ständig den Bodenwischer benutzen muss.

Stunning view from the roof terrace. Great hospitality and support from owners and staff. Great tours and personal visits with excellent drivers and guides. For us, a group of 3 elderly ( 70+) women all was fine. We enjoyed the sandy roads and inner city cosy atmosphere and the ‘food order’ system, which allowed us to dine on the rooftop terrace. However, If you want luxurious shops and fancy roads and restaurants nearby, this may not your first choice.

The rooftop is very special directly next to the pyramid excellent view. For dinner, they order something from a good restaurant next door and they have the menu right there so you can choose until the team what you like and you can enjoy your dinner on the rooftop. Everything was good.

• Mariia (10/5): Красиво, чисто, гостеприимно - Приехали на ночь ради чуда света. Отель хороший, все фото соответствуют действительности. Когда попадаешь в Гизу немного поражает грязь повсюду, включая территорию у пирамид. Но отель, просто молодцы, чисто, красиво, вид на главную пирамиду прекрасный, без всяких впередистоящих домов. Также хорошо что рядом поле для гольфа и с веранды не только пирамида, но и островок зелени, что вообще-то больше нет нигде в Гизе До пирамид пешком 10 минут туристическим шагом с разглядыванием и фотографированием. Будьте внимательны, что повозки на лошадях врут что «нельзя по улицам идти пешком, надо или такси или повозку», так и говорят в наглую и на дурака. В общем выбором отеля очень довольна, соотношение цена/качество прекрасное

He took such good care of uss with very reasonable prices voor tours and a driver who was with us al the time. Water en coffee we would get for free it was a very specious room and he even let us use the room after we needed to check out we could also leave our luggage to explore more the day we were leaving. My child and I felt very comfortable and safe here. The rooms are fully equipped with toiletries, a refrigerator, a heater, and air conditioning. The rooftop offers a stunning view of the pyramid. • Karin Monika (10/5): Es war fantastisch! - Wir haben die Lage sehr genossen! Jenseits vom touristischen Gizeh und trotzdem nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss, um zur Sphinx und den Pyramiden zu gelangen. Tariq und Karim sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden umsorgt und haben das leckere ägyptische Frühstück mit Blick auf die Cheopspyramide vollends genossen! Wichtig zu wissen: es handelt sich um sauberen, gepflegten, ägyptischen Standard, das ist nicht das selbe, wie wir uns in der Schweiz gewohnt sind. Uns hat es überhaupt nicht gestört, im Gegenteil, wir mögen Patina.

• Rebecca (10/5): Ein tolles Hotel mit Direktem Blick auf die Pyramide - Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und organisieren alles was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und komfortabel, die Dach Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf die Pyramide ist herausragend. Frühstück ist sehr gut, andere Essen kann man bestellen. Die Lage ist perfekt direkt vor den Pyramiden. Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Rund um das Hotel wird eine Straße gebaut, es gab aber keinen Lärm.
• Trevor (10/5): Worth it for the view and service - It is a family owned and operated business by two very kind brothers who have made a guest house in their family home where they grew up. Staff was friendly. The rooftop view of the pyramid while having a delicious authentic breakfast was memorable. The property itself was great, as well as the staff, however the area is more local and not yet fully developed for tourists. However they are building a new access road in the future. The doors can use some oil or WD-40 as they are loud when trying to move in out of the room quietly.

La maison est un peu loin de tout, il faut systématiquement prendre un taxi pour se rendre sur les sites intéressants.

• Maya (7/5): Good convenient location, lovely hosts, but needs more for comfort - - Lovely location next to one of the pyramids! - The staff was wonderful! Owned by a family. They were very attentive. When we needed to check out at 4AM they were awake and gave us a breakfast box to take with us - They do have a food menu. This was helpful for us as we were two women travelling and did not feel comfortable walking around the Giza area, so we did not need to leave the hotel after our tours. The food was pretty good! - The rooftop was very nice. Good seating area. - The beds were unfortunately not that comfortable. They were incredibly stiff like rocks so we had a very hard time going to sleep, which was unfortunate as this has a strong rating on the overall impact of the score. - Internet could be flaky sometimes. Every time it disconnected, you needed to scan the QR code. - While the food was good, it could take a LONG time to get to you. I believe they order the food from restaurants, which is fine, but one night we placed our order at 6PM and did not get it until 8PM.

• Pamela (10/5): - Cet hotel, situé juste en face de la pyramide de Kheops, est un vrai cocon où l'on se sent chez soi. Peu importe le moment où vous arrivez a l'hôtel, il y a quelqu'un pour vous accueillir. Nous sommes vraiment au calme, malgré la ville animée de Gizeh, mais comme nous sommes derriere la grande pyramide, nous sommes loin de la foule et sur leur terrasse panoramique, on se sent seuls au monde. Un endroit de choix, un accueil chaleureux et un emplacement parfait pour l'ensemble des visites, proche de la culture locale.

• Kathrin (10/5): - Die Lage ist großartig. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf die Pyramide ist unbezahlbar. Absolut herausragend und einzigartig ist aber die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber. Bereits bei der Ankunft am Flughafen kam die erste freundliche Anfrage, ob alles in Ordnung sei , oder wir vielleicht Hilfe benötigen. Da das Gästehaus wohl zur Zeit schwer zu finden ist, war diese Hilfe in Form einer Wegbeschreibung an den Fahrer tatsächlich nötig. Uns wurde jede nur erdenkliche Hilfe zuteil. So wurde mir z.B. jemand vom Team zum nächsten "Drinkies" mitgeschickt, um ein Feierabendbier zu kaufen. Für einen Ausflug bekamen wir einen hervorragenden und sehr preiswürdigen Guide vermittelt. Bucht da nicht über "Get your guide" oder sonst ein Portal. Die Touren vom Crystal Pyramids Inn sind besser. Zu guter Letzt bekamen wir am letzten Tag zu nachtschlafender Zeit, bereits um 5.30 Uhr ein Frühstück, weil unser Flieger so früh ging (noch einmal Entschuldigung an die beiden armen Teufel, die dafür so früh aufstehen mussten). Das Gästehaus verfügt (noch) nicht über eine eigene Küche. Über eine QR-Code kann man aber das Angebot sämtlicher Lieferdienste der Umgebung einsehen und sich auf die schöne Terrasse bringen lassen. Zur Begrüßung wurde uns gesagt, dass wir uns nicht wie Gäste, sonder zuhause fühlen sollen. Das ist komplett geglückt. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder. Natürlich ist das Gästehaus kein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Die Matratzen sind recht hart, aber das ist für Leute mit Rückenschmerzen oder Bandscheibenproblemen sogar gut.😊 Bei der Dusche ist - ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig - die Toilette direkt in der Nasszelle mit untergebracht. Dafür hat man darin aber sehr viel Platz. Vielleicht könnte man für das Frühstück mit einem Bäcker zusamnenarbeiten? Das Brot war etwas labberig, aber durchaus genießbar.

• Kate (10/5): - I wanted to experience the people , the land and the deep culture fully so i have chosen this home away from home over the big brand resort or hotel there this time... , they did not disappoint... they are all working tirelessly from morning until night no matter how tired they are they are always smiling and making sure they assisting you above and beyond, keeping you comfortable and safe ... there are many cheaper tours operations and they can be booked over the apps easily however we have no regrets booking all of our tours with them, specially to visit the best desert in the world , personally accommodated by the best guide Hossam 😀 it was one of the best day of my life , we have traveled the world and yet swimming in magic lake, visiting ancient ancestors whales ,seeing mermaid bones 😵😵‍💫🥳🥳🥳 that was .. im speechless.. we all had the adventures of our lives together ❤️ also exploring the rocks that cannot be found on earth .. seeing some aliens language on ancient walls at the cow tomb ???( Is it ? ) I would suggest if you are not on a tight budget and can afford to please take your tours with these guys. The terrace is a gem. - the manager and staff were amazing during my stay. they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable and helped me navigate other issues not related to the hotel. The kindest people ever. Always available at any time of the day and night, and always made sure I would arrive safe and get out the gate to make sure I would get out the cab and be safe. The terrace has incredible views. I really highly recommend this inn. the breakfast I would have maybe wanted to be more with a local flavor cause I like to try local typical food but other than that it was good.

Que la comida que ofrecen no la cocinan el propio alojamiento, y no se si es debido a ello pero tardaron 50 minutos en traernos una pizza para cenar y 1 hora y media en traernos dos brochetas de pollo (cuando en la foto aparecían 4) con un poco de arroz y verdura para comer.

Nothing was too much trouble, and I felt welcomed and comfortable. The location is unbeatable, you wake up and the Great Pyramid is right in front of you. Good value for money. Food was decent too. Old Cairo (the surrounding neighbourhood) is very rundown, and whilst the hotel isn’t The Ritz, it is functional and well maintained. I wouldn’t pick this hotel for a romantic getaway, but if you’re travelling solo and want a functional, well priced hotel close to the pyramids, this place is perfect.

• David (9/5): Wonderful brief stopover in the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Giza - Great spot directly under the Great Pyramid. Owners were very friendly and arranged transport to and from hotel. Great terrace, comfortable beds, nice linen and towels. No fault of their own, but we arrived during a power (and hence water) cut. The owners were very apologetic though and gave us free drinks, so thanks for that!

Yes, the neighbourhood is a bit run down but I had no issues. Owner and all staff were very helpful and helped me arrange transport to airport after all uber drivers try to rip you off Only thing I could say could be better was quality of the mattress, it was very hard and not very comfortable

They get a percentage of the profits by connecting us wit - Incredible Location, lovely rooftop, the owners were keen to help us out. The owner of the quad bike company told us we could take as long as we liked and then called his staff when we were in the middle of the desert and said that it was by the hour so we were forced to pay three times as much as we had agreed upon. When we came back and explained it to the owners of the hotel they acted sympathetic but did nothing to actually support the blatant exploitation that we have experienced for me. The money is secondary tofeeling deeply disrespected by First the owner of the quad bike company and then not being supported by the owners of the Hotel as lovely as they were I would never stay there again because I felt I was exploited and disrespected.

(the official entrance is however on the other side of the area, it might be too far to walk there). Everything was perfect. I also liked the customer oriented attitude of Kareem and his brother who run this hotel -very nice, polite, not pushy and always available to answer questions and help their guests. The neighbourhood area might be a bit scary if you walk at night.

The only thing that people might get scared is the streets around but really don’t get scared all the people there were so kind and helpful so don’t think about it just book this hotel
• Philip (9/5): Great welcoming staff - The hotel terrace is amazing, a beautiful view of the great pyramid, and it's just a nice lounge where you can come up, relax, and get some food and drinks at good prices. The staff were absolutely amazing, I recommend accepting their pickup from the airport if they offer you because the driver was a really fun guy who was explaining a lot of what we were seeing on the way. The other staff were great, I wanted to get some shisha, but they didn't have it, so the one server would offer me cigarettes, which was unreal. The location is also close if you're doing the ATV rides and pyramid tours. That was all I did since i wasn't staying too long in Egypt . I got a free, very good Egyptian breakfast as soon as I showed up around 11:30, then sometimes if I went to hang out on the terrace they would just welcome me with a free drink. Having a hibiscus tea on the terrace and ripping Egyptian cigs while staring out at the pyramid is so beyond unreal, I recommend coming here. They also organize other excursions here if you have time, like a cruise on the Nile and museum trips. The wifi was a little spotty on the first day I stayed, but it was fixed on the second day.
• Silvia (10/5): Great hotel with amazing view - We had a great time at the Crystal pyramid inn, thanks to Kareem and Tarek! Amazing view from the terrace, good breakfast and good restaurant. Fair prices. The neighbour is not the best but it's super quiet and in a strategic position for visiting the great pyramids.
