• nicolas (6/5): bel hotel et personnel trés agréable - hôtel situé dans une zone peu fréquentée par les touristes et donc il n'y a pas grand chose a faire une fois le portail de l’hôtel franchi. le restaurant de l’hôtel ne propose pas d'alcool ce qui est compréhensible mais pour une personne qui n'est pas religieux/ touriste ce n'est pas acceptable. l’hôtel aurait du le mentionner avant la réservation.

• Stephane (5/5): - Mauvais choix de notre part sur la localisation car assez éloigné de Stone Town. Piscine ne donnant pas envie de s'y baigner, la vue de l'hôtel n'est pas exceptionnelle et les prix du restaurant ne correspondent pas à la réalité économique du pays. Pour finir, nous nous sommes rendus compte qu'en réservant en dernière minute et non à l'avance, nous aurions pu diviser le prix par 3 et malgré cela, il nous a été demandé un supplément pour avoir un 3ème lit dans une chambre, ce que nous avons refusé car c'était prévu dans la réservation initiale. Bref, préférez un hôtel directement dans Stone Town, vous économiserez en + les frais de transports pour vous y rendre.

It’s a little outside of Stone Town but the standard of the hotel makes up for that. Also it’s calmer than Stone Town itself so we slept very peacefully. Only 15min drive drive with dala-dala
• Mariann (2/5): Wouldn´t recommend - The only good thing is the location near the airport. Nothing else. The hotel is super noisy. As it is located in the in the fishermen port, the noise on of fishermen and huge amount of birds starts from around 5am. Although the hotel is located in the beach, it is not a beach to have sun: it is dirty and full of fishermen ships. The breakfast is rather poor (including serving of last day fruits and hard bread). Waiting times for lunch and dinner are about an hour:. By the way, we were the only guest and ordered a club sandwich... Not to mention that the staff didn´t know any of the foods in the menu, many of the foods were not served and the little we ate, they managed to mess up all the orders.

The swimming pool is beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the restaurant offers a stunning view of the sea—a real treat at any time of day! The staff were outstanding, especially Dickson, who was incredibly warm, helpful, and made me feel truly welcome. I really appreciated the flexibility with a late check-out, which made a big difference to my trip. The rooms and overall environment were spotlessly clean. I would absolutely stay here again!

The men that cleaned did a good job, but be aware of other staff, as they will mock you and speak badly of you right in front of your face, very disrespectful. Impossible to find space at the pool, it’s also very loud and chaotic at all times. The food was mostly old would not recommend to stay here.

It's really convenient being so close to both the beach and the town, making it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds. The combination of a delicious breakfast and such a prime spot makes it a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Zanzibar The hotel could offer compensation through other services, like a complimentary meal, a spa treatment, or even an extended check-out time to make up for the missed day. It would show great customer care and help guests feel valued, even if something unexpected happens during their stay.
• First (9/5): Zanzibar view hotel is the best place crafted in love and beauty of nature - The amenities and the facilities are well crafted, portraying the beauty of culture and nature. It is in this place where nature engagement is real . The cleanliness and hygiene of a place is worthy it. Not forgetting the hospitality of the staff I don’t have the audacity to say the property wasn’t good. Everything was good and I don’t regret my stay. This is my all time spot in Zanzibar

• Aldo (5/5): As a budget stay offering if no other option, but location no ideal if you want to visit Stonetown., - Breakfast was ok, could have offered cappuccino like other hotels but had to pay for it. Dinner was decent and food offering was good.Room was clean and neat, crisp white towels. Location is on the beach where all the fisherman are, shouting loudly at 5am in the morning.Old rusting ferry boat on the beach spoilt the view. Housekeeping decides to clean outside the room at 6.30am and then at the pool, no privacy, security guard taking loudly on her phone, stationed at the pool (?) then cleaners at the pool while you there at 10. Very disappointing. Staff Forgot to switch geyser on so no hot water when wanting to shower. Offered free wifi, but didn't work. No alcohol policy at hotel, so couldn't have a glass of wine with dinner.

• Joseph (8/5): - I was pleasantly surprised at how nice a place Zanzibar View Hotel was. One of the most beautiful and clean (very clean) boutique hotels I have stayed in. I found out that it was just recently opened, and that’s why no previous reviews. Every one of the hotel staff was very pleasant, from the manager all the way to housekeeping. The restaurant is very well designed and pleasantly decorated. It was clean and inviting, and the food was exceptional. Even though the menu was limited because they just recently opened, the chef did an excellent job in presentation and taste. I have to mention the attention to detail by both waiters, Rashid (Chili) and Mwajuma who made my dining experience memorable. My favorite dinner selection was “mchemsho wa kuku” (boiled chiken), followed by the beef curry. One item to note: the hotel is right by the beach, but it’s not a swimmable beach. They will hopefully fix it to enable ocean swimming in the future. They do, however, have a really nice swimming pool right next to the ocean. My flight back to Kenya was departing at 11 pm. The hotel manager, Hassan was very accommodating, and allowed a late checkout that enabled me to stay until 9 pm (for a fee, of course). I would definitely go back
