While rooms are small, they are very well equipped with free drinks and coffee/tea being refilled on a daily basis. Bathroom and shower just perfect. - Silvia (9/5): - The rooms were very big and beautifully decorated. The hotel is situated in a nice area, close to some of the bigger casinos, but you might still need to use a bus or a taxi. Walking from the ferry was 40 minutes, so that was a bit long, so better take a ride if you have luggage. There is a nice rooftop bar, but the wait for 2 cocktails was definitely too long.

We loved the decor, the attention to detail and the generous sized room. The rooftop bar was a nice little escape in the afternoon/evenings and the breakfast and service by staff was professional and warm. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's situated in a lovely part of the older area of Macau in unique and interesting surroundings and central to most 'must see' attractions.

- L Lyons (10/5): Beautiful period-themed hotel in central Macau - The interior decor is beautifully thought out and executed, a visit to the roof top bar is a must! I had to look very hard - my only criticism is that the knob on the inside of the sliding bathroom door in the balcony room is a thumb trap!

Some staff could not understand English well. Sink had a flat surface (old style) so water was not draining quickly. Room may use more lighting especially at night tables.

- Qian (10/5): Wish our stay was longer! - Everything. Really close walking distance to major attractions and a short uber ride if you are going to other sides of the city. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated. Wish we stayed longer! Nothing. The only thing to mention if it matters to you is that the room with the balcony faces a neighborhood that’s pretty old and rundown, so not the best view in case you were looking for something spectacular.

My room had a claw foot tub, the minibar was completely free, and I received a free "welcome" drink at the bar. Breakfast was also included (and very good). The street location is very busy so it could be hard to get an Uber or taxi. I found that it was better to walk further away from the hotel before trying to get a car.

- Carl (10/5): Great value and great location! - The breakfast options were pre-defined (e.g. Western, Asian ...) and absolutely top-notch. Opens at 7:00am. Coffee was great too. Cost was very affordable (converted, it was $US 12.15). The surrounding neighborhood has options but few are also open at 7:00am when I wanted to eat. Standard room is small-ish but still very nicely equipped. Love the coffee grinder, BTW ...! You have to use your free drink coupon on the rooftop bar the same day you check in. I didn't pay attention to that detail so I missed the chance. Otherwise, everything about this hotel is great.

It's a very charming boutique hotel (retro-feel) and a lot of details put into the room for the convenience of the guests. We like the breakfast too. Nothing in particular. The amount of effort put into all the little details is truly incredible, the rooms are equipped with customized furniture and other decorations that help you immerse yourself into "Macau vintage". The staff were helpful and friendly, the location was right in the centre of the historical city. The rooftop terrace has breathtaking 360 degrees views of the entire city.

La variedad del desayuno era limitada: no era tipo buffet y solo se podía elegir entre desayuno occidental o chino. If need to find fault, Maybe not enough space to place own toiletries on the vanity top in the bathroom & oh, unable to blow & style hair as the switch is too far from the mirror.

- Yung Yuan (10/5): 超讚的飯店，很值得來體驗 - 酒店地理位置極佳，去大三巴牌坊十分近，一路散步逛街，知名景點都在附近。酒店走復古風格，房內有復古的電話、電扇還有音箱，掛上老照片，家具也很有味道。房內備品十分充足，還有茶包咖啡、冰箱mini bar都能免費使用。我訂了有浴缸的房型，可以在一天後好好泡個澡（還有附上浴鹽），真的很棒。不得不說，房間非常整潔！房務人員整理得很用心，住起來十分舒適，服務員也都熱心親切詢問我們的需求。 入住有附一杯迎賓飲料，可以到屋頂天台露天bar兌換，一邊喝著飲品，一邊欣賞澳門的燈火。可惜我遇上下雨，但飲料都能帶回房間繼續享用。 無。

- 敏 (10/5): - 位置相當好，一進門會有服務人員接待告知要上四樓check in，房間還幫我們升級以及給了歡迎入住飲料卷晚上可以上頂樓景觀非常好，有分有酒精跟沒酒精的都很好喝，在飯店碰到的服務人員都非常親切、專業跟有禮貌，根本五星級飯店的服務品質，飯店的設計也相當細節，超級漂亮！！！！ 隔音需要加強會更好

- Estherlpf (9/5): Would recommend the hotel but its breakfast was underwhelming - Love the vintage furnishings like the room phone and the hotel lifts in the art deco style. The shower was strong and room itself was lavish, clean and comfortable - albeit in quite an awkward layout as ours was a corner room. We had to shift some furniture around to make more space for ourselves. Would recommend this hotel as it's value-for-money! The breakfast wasn't very much to shout about. We were only given 2 choices each morning - Chinese or Western style. And because we couldn't choose the individual items in each, there would always be things we didn't like or couldn't eat, and hence, food wastage. I also didn't like the fact that coffee/tea couldn't be topped up or refilled. Overall, a lack of choice.

- Tisiola (10/5): An amazing and unforgettable experience. Thank you Hotel Central! - I loved absolutely everything about my stay! Staff were extremely helpful and professional. My room was gorgeous and had an amazing view of the city. Location is perfect for exploring all the nearby attractions. Don’t forget to check out the rooftop view too! Nothing :)

Personale estremamente disponibile e cordiale dall'uscere alle ragazze in sala ristorante fino alle adette alle pulizie. Onestamente non c'è niente che non mi sia piaciuto, al massimo potrei dire che è stato laborioso all'inizio capire che luci, tende etc vengono comandate via telefono, ma una volta capito é andato tutto liscio

- Rickard (10/5): Väldigt fint hotell som nyligen renoverats till nyskick, i gammal stil. Förtjänar 5 stjärnor. - Hotellets restaurang var av mycket hög klass. Mycket hjälpsam och professionell personal. Utsökt takbar med fin utsikt över hela den gamla delen av staden. Väldigt smakfullt inredda rum som känns gamla och klassiska, men som samtidigt är nyrenoverade och fräscha. Hissarna verkade inte vara synkroniserade, tog ibland lång tid på sig att komma. Jag hade nog föredragit en frukostbuffé istället för färdiga menyer.

- Amy (10/5): Right in the heart of old Macau - Hotel seems to be newly renovated with a beautiful vintage feel (we were on floor 16). It was surprisingly modern in an older part of town. It was spacious and very comfortable. The location was perfect - right in all the action without being noisy. Reception was on the 4th floor

- Diana (10/5): Unique character and great staff - Outstanding, without any doubt this is the best hotel we've ever stayed at. It's in a great location, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help us with any queries we had. The character of the hotel is unique, historic and charming. It has great views from the rooftop open air bar, the rooms are all immaculately decorated to fit the background of the hotel, soundproofed and with really comfortable beds. This hotel has been renovated literally from top to bottom recently and the owner personally supervised all the work and he has really put his heart into it. If you are thinking of staying at one of the nearby casinos, don't, this hotel and the location is far superior. We would definitely recommend this hotel over any other. Could not fault it
