• Leszczyńska (10/5): - Great apartment, everything is new and very clean. The mattresses on the beds are very comfortable. There's a balcony in the bedroom and a rooftop terrace with fantastic views of the mountains and sea. Maro is a wonderful place, quiet, peaceful, with great beaches – Playa la Caleta and Playa de Maro. The Cueva de Nerja, the Pico del Cielo trek and the Rio de Chillar trail, and much more... Nerja is only a few kilometers away, and parking is available in Maro. Nothing

• Sara (8/5): Muito bom - Quarto limpo e bem equipado (tem um frigorífico). Fica a 20 minutos a pé da praia (caminho com subidas e descidas) Ato do check in e check out. Não enviaram mensagem com os detalhes do check in, tivemos de ligar. No check out combinamos uma hora e a pessoa não compareceu.
• Olga (8/5): Volveremos!!! - La ubicación muy bien, cerquita de la parada de bus para ir a la playa de Maro. La habitación tenía todo lo que necesitábamos y estaba limpia. El personal súper agradable!! La chica de recepción fue muy servicial con nosotros y nos estuvo ayudando a elegir qué calas visitar. Todo okay
• Rubén (1/5): Nefasta la experiencia. - Absolutamente nada. Mucha suciedad y todo super mal cuidado en la habitación. Los dueños son agresivos y malhablados; nos amenazaron con echarnos. El alojamiento era demasiado pequeño; estaban sucias las sábanas; salieron hormigas desde que llegamos; el extractor del baño llevaría meses sin limpiarse(estaba justo encima de la ducha y en cualquier momento se podía caer),daba mucho asco la verdad. El armario estaba cojo y estuvo a punto de caerse un día encima de nosotros. El lavabo se atascaba continuamente, no te podías ni limpiar las manos. Queremos haceros saber a tod@s la gravedad de todo esto y que tengáis muy en cuenta que lo denunciamos a sanidad. Y por último, y no menos importante, tened mucho cuidado con uno de los dueños; es muy agresivo.
• Alice (8/5): good place to visit nerja/maro beaches - good place to stay and visit the surrounding beaches of nerja/maro/la herradura etc. there is a big parking near the pension where u can leave the car at night for free. in the village of maro there is nothing (no supermarkes except from a tiny shop) so don;t expect to cook or anything you'll have to have breakfast outside. the owner is very nice, although i understand self check in has its advantages, I don't appreciate it a lot because it shows on the side of the owner very minimal effort. it smells a bit of humid and the entrance of the building smells like cat pee but apart from that everything was really clean.
• rodrigo (7/5): Bien en general pero podría haber sido mejor - Limpio, cómodo. Con aire acondicionado en el salón pero no en el dormitorio, nos cogió ola de calor. Que tuviera que esperar el día de la marcha para que vinieran a cobrar. Eché en falta un balcón o algo para poder tender la ropa mojada.

• Ella (4/5): Ok, very basic - It was relatively cheap. The staff were helpful. The air conditioning Bad services at all. No iron in the room, no kettle, the coffee machine didn’t work. No access to a washing machine. The “kitchen area” was badly equipped with just a microwave and a basic sink

• Jd (8/5): Very good - Pepi was a fantastic host. She helped me so much with retrieving my phone after leaving it in a taxi. Plus she was always available on WhatsApp to answer any question. The apartment is small but very comfortable. While it only had 2 single beds they were great to sleep in. The shower was fantastic. Plus there was a shop right across the road and you could get buses close by to bring you to Nerja and the beach. The town itself was very quiet which will suit some people. I arrived at 11 pm on a Saturday night and the place was dead. I hadn't eaten much since the morning due to travel and there was nothing open apart from a small bar who gave me some bread. Also if coming from the airport in Málaga try get a direct bus to Nerja as and maybe a taxi to Maro as the multi stop bus is very slow.

• Karen (5/5): Passable - The cleanliness of the apartment. The roof top patio The beds were comfortable The bathroom had a good shower Very good towels No communication ever from the owner. No greeting on arrival, in fact he did not show up at all. Another resident let us in. Charged extra to change from a room to an apartment, much more than is stated online. This is not self catering. No dishes, hob, toaster, kettle. All you got was 2 plates, 2 knives, forks and spoons, a few coffee pods and a fridge. No communication on leaving, so we left the key in the room. Would never go back.
• Paul (9/5): Great little fine good value for money. Host very accommodating. I would highly recommend - Jj was very helpful we made arrangement for him to meet us at a local cafe and he walked us to the accommodation. Everything was perfect great location room a little small but was not an issue for us it was comfortable and compact with everything we needed would definitely recommend this charming accommodation. There’s a rooftop sunbathing terrace area with a shower but has steps leading up to it. A great view of the area up there too. Maro itself is s beautiful small village we stayed for 3 nights. We went to Maro beach which is very difficult to walk but a bus is laid on for a small fee N/A
