• Africa Memories travel (7/5): - Angel is an asset to your establishment! She is caring and goes the extra mile! Our group of seniors required assistance with late check in and luggage and Angel was on point! Recommend getting the carpets and stain marks removed. Sad about the development infront of your establishment, perhaps a heads up at time of making booking.

• Muhammad Fraz (7/5): Ok - Location and view The rooms need renovation. Some of the rooms on the ground floor doesn’t have proper ventilation. Floors get damped which is not at all pleasant.

• Annabe (9/5): Lovely guesthouse at the sea - The guesthouse is easy to get to and well positioned to get from there to meetings in the city center. The view is absolutely great! The telephone and wi-fi signals were not good in the room. There are spots in the garden where it is slightly better.

• Andy (7/5): Overall stay was good. - Great View of the sea and golf course. The bed was comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is in a great area, not too far from Chartwell Road in Umhlanga. The couch in the room was a bit dirty which did no leave a good impression. The fridge is not in the best state and inside the fridge was a glass bottle of water (not sure if it was filtered or tap water). Bottled still waiter would be preferred. Breakfast was average.

• Wb (8/5): Pricey but comfortable getaway in Durban North - Amazing view and patio/balcony area/pool. The ladies were so helpful and friendly, in particular Angel was such a delight. Lovely grounds Peaceful Comfortable bed Delicious breakfast and service from staff is superb Bathrooms need renovating as they are old. The place is quite pricey for the quality of the rooms and bathrooms. Lack of variety in breakfast offerings No ice available on the property and you can't order simple sandwiches or meals/drinks should you want this so you must make sure you have all your own food and drink. Only small bar fridge is available in the room hence space is limited. Extremely annoying roosters are kept on the golf course property in front so you hear them constantly although this is not a fault of the property.

Silent aircon, ceiling fan, nice size bar fridge, tea coffee station, kettle. Great tv channel selection. Delicious breakfast. Lerina and Angel were very helpful. All staff are great. Gorgeous gardens.
• Navindra (5/5): Beautiful location with very average acommodation. - Excellent location overlooking a golf course and the sea. Towels are not changed daily. Breakfast hours are 6-9 a.m. Toilet leaked onto the floor when flushed. The room was neat and clean, but worn and in need of a makeover.

• Adriana (2/5): Very poor - The breakfast was nice, and the staff serving the breakfast were very hospitable, efficient and kind. The guest house is well located. Our group of four colleagues travel for work on a monthly basis, and we were all shocked at the treatment and lack of hospitality from the manager. We made our booking for three people via booking.com and were pre-charged the full amount. When we contacted the hotel to ask for the invoice to reflect each of our names for claims purposes and to request an additional two rooms, we were met with a serious lack of effective communication. The manager even went as far as to write in emails with all of us in copy "this is really becoming a nightmare" and "this cannot go on." When I called to make sure the bookings were in order and to clear up any misunderstanding, the manager hung up the phone on me mid-sentence. Later during our stay, management was more amenable (more hospitable, and managed to change the room of our colleague as the room she had been allocated had a strong smell of mold), but had our card not been already charged we would have booked elsewhere. The property is in need of maintenance, the rooms lack natural light and have a damp smell. There are spiderwebs in many of the lights and corners, and the towels are brown and do not feel clean. The wifi is incredibly spotty and we had trouble downloading simple PDF attachments, even when there was no loadshedding. There are many places in the same area that offer better value for money. We will not be returning.

• Mpho (1/5): Didn’t stay left after one night - Stayed before It is unfortunate because the location and views are amazing. It seems the property operates on a 50/50 maintenance. The 1st floor rooms are well maintained and the the pool/ garden view not. What I experienced was disappointing. The toilet sit was moving not secured, load shedding means dark with minimal light. The bedroom so narrow you basically keep hurting yourself with the corners. You can hear your neighbors flushing toilet and showering.

Towards the airport and to the South beaches and City Centre. The staff are absolutely acomodating and friendly. No Complaints or negative feedback
