Guest Reviews
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Beverley (8/5): Ideal spot for a stay in central Woodbridge - Very quaint and quirky. Excellent location in central Woodbridge.
- Happy savvy (10/5): -
- Nigel (8/5): Central apartment in the heart of the town with good facilities - The location was excellent, central, with a living room overlooking the delightful main square. The bedrooms were further back and quiet. The facilities were good. Communications with the hosts were easy. Nothing really! The apartment is accessed via a narrow passage and steep stairs so may not be ideal for someone with mobility issues, but was perfect for us.
- Sharon (10/5): Our stay was quite memorable and very comfortable. - Being on the town square within walking distance of everything we needed and/or might want. I knew my kids would be excited being in Woodbridge and one wanted to be sure we visited something she called "an historical pub". I asked if "an historical lodging" would do. Well she got more history than she has seen in her life and I got to visit old haunts. We were delighted with our lodgings. The tea box might have had a label.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikki (10/5): Quaint, quirky and clean - It was quirky, spacious, and clean Very narrow walkway to get to the apartment, ironing board was broken. Lack of parking available but can’t be helped.
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Central to everywhere, cosy and quirky, everything right on your doorstep, the host so accommodating, great stay
- Virginia (7/5): Great character and location - Owner is very nice. Great location and interesting, historic building on the main square - lots of stairs, low doors & ceilings and wonky floors. Easy to reach all main shops and places of interest. Free parking is an easy walk away - time limited outside, but plenty of time to drop off luggage and move your car. The mattresses were comfy and the linen and towels were fresh and clean. No hand washing facilities actually in toilet (separate from bathroom). One bed strut was broken, so had to sleep at the foot end of the bed, and the frame was very squeaky. Couldn't plug in one bedside lamp as lead didn't reach the socket. Another lamp lead was damaged with exposed wire. Water pipes can be noisy- maybe an air lock in pipes - woke the person in the top room on the first night.
- Alexia (8/5): Living in a unique slice of history, perfectly located. - Amazing apartment built around 1540 with wavy ceilings, undulating floors and a perfect view from the lounge of the market square. Absolutely unique. Well heated. Clean. My three boys, all over 6ft tall, all smashed their heads on low beams at some stage! Also no washing machine but there is a laundromat three doors down.
- Christopher (10/5): Perfect location to explore Woodbridge - Perfect location quirky building Needs wifi boost to back bedroom. Bed in attic uncomfortable but alternative z bed provided.
- Gary (9/5): Brilliant weekend in lovely Woodbridge. Lots to do. Would havevstayed longer if we could. - Great location. Fabulous old world charm. Nothing. All good.
- Tessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claude (10/5): Enjoyable, nostalgic and totally enjoyable - Located directly across from a great cafe … The Wild Strawberry Cafe … Would have loved to have more parking
- Elmar (9/5): Superb - It is a really nice flat. The ceiling is pretty low, but that is no problem at all. We had a wonderfull stay in Woodbridge. You can easily walk to all places of interest and the train station is just a 5 minute walk away.
- Joanna (9/5): Superb -
- Diane (10/5): Wonderful Woodbridge Stay - A gem of a find in the lovely little village of Woodbridge! The location was superb, in the heart of the market square and 1 minute walk if even to two wonderful pubs. Very well equipped property with lovely quirky features! Taxi service to nearby Woodhall Manor only £15 for 4.
We will definitely be back!
- Rose (10/5): It was a good stay and the flat did it all that it needed to do for visiting family. - Centrally positioned flat and a hugely personable property owner. A ‘home from home’. A rare understanding from the owner of a desire to find accommodation that fits with meeting up with family #notatourist Fairly fragile plumbing for the lavatory
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Janet (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Perfect location. Close for parking and even closer for wandering around the town! - Great location. Cosy and quaint.
- Marilyn (8/5): FAB APPARTMENT ..... but - Overall we liked everything including the quirkiness. Very well equipped too. The difficult access to 3rd bedroom which is not mentioned anywhere, nor is there a photo on your website
- Simone0999 (8/5): Very good - Great location, friendly and helpful, lovely gesture of wine and a pint of fresh milk. No sink in toilet
- Philip (8/5): Very good - Great location for Woodbridge town and surrounding area.
- Jan (10/5): Character and comfort - Brilliant location and the character of the building was amazing, my children thought the access to the property to be a secret diagon alley exciting experience.
- Sasi (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emer (10/5): Perfect! - Gorgeous period property, clean and comfortable in a beautiful location.
- Ruth (7/5): Great location for 1-2 night stay - The location and the owner are great. It’s quaint and well furnished. The third bedroom is very hard to find, very hot and no window.
The two single beds are incredibly uncomfortable and noisy.
- Roger (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Ideal location in centre of beautiful Woodbridge. Quirky apartment, friendly owners. Great for a weekend break.
- Mark (8/5): Fantastic apartment to stay in with a really easygoing host - Location was great. Fully equipped apartment was perfect for our requirements Very minor thing but parking down the road was the smallest issue we had but even that was ok really
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful old tudor building, with wonky floors, with low beams and exposed beams, in a fantastic central location. Would love to cone back and stay again.
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location, the feel of the flat itself was lovely, comfy beds. Quite a tight alley entrance But that's OK. Shower wasn't warm but think settings on it were out slightly so once sussed that out, it was OK.
- Susan (10/5): Very quaint apartment with lots of character. - The location was in a perfect spot in the town. Lovely view from the upstairs windows. To have another toilet put in the large bathroom.
- Crush (10/5): Very comfortable good facilities . - Very comfortable, great location very clean had everything you could need.
- Ann (8/5): Weekend in Woodbridge - Fab location and very clean property. Nice to meet the owner. Very clear communications throughout As a tall person I found the ceiling height in the shower a bit difficult to cope with it
- Ann (9/5): the host was very helpful . it was lovely spot to live in for a while, and quiet, lovely view - provided own breakfast. the kitchen needs to be better equipped. no oven dishes to pop food in the oven in, not enough plates and space very limited in the kitchen ... to be fair one could see that from the picture..
- Emma (10/5): Quaint, quirky, warm, comfortable and well equipped in a fantastic location, perfect x - Quaint, quirky, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Absolutely perfect 😍 nothing
- Isabel (7/5): Unique historic find - Excellent location and certainly charming. Good value for couple with two children. Also good value for us as a couple with one sick and coughing all night. All the equipment we needed to cook and eat in. The window overlooking the square was great place to sit. No noise.
Handy for all the restaurants in Central area. Galley, cafe etc Low beams were a problem if over 6ft.
Corner seat not very comfortable. We were indoors more than would have been normal because weather cold and wet and had a coughing bug.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Wonderful, better than being at home and right in the centre of Woodbridge next to Shire Hall - Breakfast not provided but coffee, milk and sugar were Nothing I did no lie
- Guy (8/5): Really lovely stay on central Woodbridge - Very comfortable flat. Excellent location. Quiet bedroom at the back. Lots of pubs and restaurants to hand. Pint of a few treats, milk and coffee/tea available on arrival was nice. It is a historic building so headroom is low, as a tall chap over 6' I bumped my head several times not being used to knowing where to duck! Nobody's fault, folks were not as tall when it was built!
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): relaxing and quite - perfect place for a brake
