The downside: The swimming pool was closed when we got there - we picked the place because of the indoor swimming option (visit in January). I must have read outdated opening hours. Wanted: longer opening hours :)

Durch die anderen Rezensionen war klar, dass noch zusätzliche Kosten für Bettwäsche/Handtücher/Strom und evtl. Reinigung dazu kommen. Diese wurden vorab mit der Vermieterin geklärt.

- Luke (8/5): Unique location. - Øer Maritime Ferieby is a really unique location, essentially a large marine with houses built on islands within it. Great location for exploring Ebeltoft and the National Park. I stayed here back in the late 90s as a teenager and was eager to return with my own family. This property is located close to the main entrance, which is useful, is clean, and the beds were comfortable. There are a few anomalies that are very different from any other self-catering. For example, you have to pay extra for bedding and towels, and then make the beds yourself. You then also have to pay extra for your electrical consumption. Finally, the onus of cleaning is on you, or again, there's an additional charge if you're unable to do this yourself. We coped fine, but these hidden extras are not allowed for in the Booking.com price. It's still cheaper and nicer than staying in Aarhus, though.
- Loredana (9/5): Superb - It’s really comfortable, good beds , good sofa, kitchen , etc it’s well located , nice surroundings, it has wonderful facilities like swimming pool, playgrounds , indoor play center , etc . Perfect for families with kids. It should have an option to warm the lights there are too white , maybe to have small lamps , to turn on , when it’s time to go to bed . It was kind of annoying the security system for the staircases when you have small children you need something easy to use and the oven need a little better cleaning ;) .
