Guest Reviews
- Patrick (10/5): - We had a fabulous stay in cuocake cottage. Great communication from the owner and the cottage was beautiful. Lots of lovely little touches and had everything we needed as a family of 4 for a relaxing new years break.
Well stocked games cupboard for the children (and adults) some cupcakes and milk provided.
The village is so lovely. A nice mixture of shops, pubs and resturants.
We had a fantastic time... thank you 😊 Norhing
- DOUGLAS (10/5): - Perfect for our needs
- janet (10/5): Relaxed, comfortable and easy - Clean, all necessary amenities, cosy Nothing
- Louise (8/5): Comfortable and pretty cottage in the heart of Nailsworth - In the heart of Nailsworth, which was what we wanted for a weekend stay. Very attractive property with a pretty garden. On-site parking is a bonus. Hosts and dogs were friendly. House was comfortable and well-equipped. Wasn't keen on the location of the garden space. It looks quite secluded from the photos, but actually when you sit out you are visible to all passers-by either walking or driving past, as the drive gates are always open (reasonably enough, it would be tiresome to have to keep opening and closing them). It is, though, not overlooked by main house. Not a massive problem, but felt a wee bit exposed.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Central for our needs. Nothing
- Kevin Blabey (9/5): Our Cotswold cottage - Very picturesque Cotswold Cottage, comfortable and lovely. Nothing
- Frances (9/5): Superb -
- Xavier (10/5): Exceptional - Really cute cottage, very lovely hosts, very accommodating. Easy to contact if needed but very much left to your own devices.
Very well built cottage, very cosy, a great place to relax, stone walls make you feel close to nature.
Will definitely go back.
- Qarinah (8/5): Very good - Loved the central location and how clean and comfortable the cottage was. It was perfect for our 2 day stay for a wedding. I wish we got to explore the town more as there were so many lovely looking cafes and vintage shops.
- Garywb (8/5): Very good -
- Zahra (10/5): Stunning, clean and cosy cottage for a perfect short getaway. - Everything was amazing. The host was lovely, professional and very thoughtful. The location was good and the cottage was just perfect. Very cosy and comfortable, and super clean. It was all so cute and well thought out with the little folder explaining where everything in the cottage is and local places around the place. There was also games and books which my little one really enjoyed. Smart tv which was lovely for a cosy night in. And central heating which you can control yourself was perfect and needed especially being with a child. The host was so thoughtful, as we were greeting with cupcakes inside along with a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge for us to use.
- Morgan (10/5): Exceptional -

- Anthony (9/5): A great, quiet place to stay. - Great communication with the host from start to finish.
Nailsworth is one of our favourite places to get away for a few days. Cupcake Cottage is in a great spot near the centre of town. The Wi-Fi connection to the TV was patchy. Lots of buffering when attempting Netflix etc. We gave up and used our laptop to watch streaming services but it wasn't a big deal for us.
- Debbie (10/5): Lovely cottage in a lovely location, just what we needed to meet up with family to attend a wedding. - The cottage tastefully decorated and furnished. Very comfortable. Had everything we needed and host left us a welcome of some cakes, biscuit and essentials like coffee sugar milk etc. Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - The location for my friend and I was perfect, close to everywhere we wanted to be.
- Jac (9/5): Would stay again - Lovely cottage, great host, close to centre
- Denkar1972 (10/5): Lovely stay in the beautiful Cotswalds - The cupcake cottage is a lovely cottage in an idyllic village. We loved everything about it! It was spacious, clean, authentc and beautiful.
Best fish and chips Just around the corner, nice testaurants and lovely shops!! We had nothing to complain about. We had a nice welcome, delicious cupcakes and a perfect stay!!
- Christina (9/5): Lovely hosts, great location and lovely cottage - The location is perfect - lovely little town with great places to eat - would definitely come back if we go to a forest live concert next year
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect for what we wanted...location, the property itself and match with description and the friendly and prompt exchanges with host when we had a question. the lateness of getting round to writing a review (a good 6 weeks after our stay is no reflection on how much we enjoyed our stay!). Nothing...would happily come again.
- Rebecca (10/5): This property is well looked after and the hosts were very polite and welcoming. The location and surroundings were beau - We loved the location and the surroundings. It was beautifully presented and clean. The little touches made the stay even more special. We recommend a stay here at Cupcake cottage. We cannot fault our stay at the Cupcake cottage. There were no negatives.
- Jessie (10/5): Our favorite accommodation... - In our travels through England, Scotland, and Ireland, this was our very favorite accommodation! The apartment was cozy and had so many thoughtful little touches. We even ate a very quick dinner so we could get back and enjoy the comforts of the apartment. Would 100 percent recommend this to anyone visiting Nailsworth.
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional - Host had thought about everything down to the final detail: tea, coffee, toiletries, washing up liquid etc. The cupcakes were a lovely touch and the children's games in the cupboard kept my little boy entertained. Even let us in early for check in. Would definitely return! Nothing
- Andrew (9/5): An absolute delight. - Beautiful location and property, very comfortable with some lovely personal touches. The little cupcakes were a delight. Would certainly stay again. Only issue was basic tv channels were not available unless streaming via iPlayer, etc. No complaints, just a small observation.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (8/5): Very good - Very pretty and cosy
- Kayla (10/5): A cosy family break enjoying the best of life with a view - We loved the location. Walk straight out the door into Nailsworth. We loved the gorgeous fireplace and the gas fire was so easy to start. The bedroom was bright, clean and spacious and the bed was so comfy. I had to take a picture of the label on the pillow so I could buy my own when I got home because it was so comfy to sleep on. N/A
- Anonymous (10/5): Perfect little cottage for a couple, home away from home - Quiet little hideaway, perfect for us Everything we could possibly needed was provided, loved the cakes and free eggs were a bonus and made a lovely breakfast treat
- David (10/5): Cosy little cottage. Perfect for a few days away in the Cotswolds. -
- Susan (10/5): The stay was excellent. I would stay again and recommend the property. - The location was perfect. The cottage was excellent, we loved it. The bed was a bit too firm and the pillows uncomfortable. The upstairs had a lot of condensation (probably due to the single glaze windows and it being autumn).
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely easy. All was explain in a communication with the own. The communications with the owner were clear, easy to understand and extremely friendly nothing it all suited us perfectly
- Marianne (10/5): We had a really pleasant and comfortable stay. The bedroom was especially nice! - Very clean, comfortable, well-equipped, great location, really nice homey touches. Claire was really attentive and helpful! Oven use was confusing without a manual
- Alex (9/5): Very pleasant. - Lovely cottage situated in a typical Cotswolds town. All facilities near by so need to use the car. Nice walks around although very hilly. All good but the TV appeared to show no live tv only Netflix and the like. If there is live TV some instructions would have been useful.
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was beautifully presented and well equipped. Comfortable seating and beds. Space on the driveway outside for 2 cars. There is space for a travel cot in the bedroom.
- Jane (8/5): Great but the event was cancelled due to weather!! - Obviously didn't read the blurb properly as didn't realise we were all sharing a room!!
- Julie (9/5): A lovely cottage in a great location in the centre of Nailsworth -
