• Lucy (9/5): Very relaxing with the view of the lake and very comfortable facilities. - Lovely setting and close to Goodwood which was the reason for being in the area. It was one of the hottest days of the year and the air conditioning was great. Appreciated being notified when housekeeping was finished and that the property was ready so that we could go straight in earlier than 16:00. I hadn’t realised bath towels were not provided so that could have been made clearer.
• Deana (7/5): Beautiful location but some frustrations - The property was spotlessly clean on the inside. The location overlooking the lake was beautiful and the view made my elderly parents very happy. The air conditioning was not working. I appreciate things go wrong but we were not informed despite communications with the owner. Fortunately it was warm with a cool breeze otherwise it could have been a real problem as my parents struggle when it is hot / cold. The lodge is positioned next to the entertainment centre - which gets quite noisy especially in the evening. This will suit some people but not others- it should be mentioned in the description. The outside veranda is one of the best bits of the property but it was filthy- like it hadn’t been cleaned this season. It was covered in cobwebs and birds mess. I had to clean some of the chairs down myself just so we could use them - not exactly what I expected at the price I paid.

Super helpful owners who were very responsive. The weather ;-) The property was excellent, no complaints at all.

• John (6/5): Expensive. - Being so near to entertainment centre which wasn’t mentioned on Booking.com website. Only found out upon arrival. No bath towels in property just three hand towels - very disappointing.

• Matthews (10/5): Peaceful and relazing - Excellent location, extremely clean, everything you could ever need right there in the lodge, fantastic host, lovely view, nice peaceful break. We will definitely be back. There is nothing to not like, well maybe check out between 8am and 10am is early as it means getting up early. Nothing else to dislike here.

Also, it was a shame the swimming pool was not open, but this did not spoil our stay and was beyond the owners control.
