Leo (9/5): This was a great place to relax just a short distance from downtown Vancouver. - The apartment was very comfortable & clean. Anything, equipment wise, was there in excellent working condition. The host Sid welcomed us warmly & gave us a tour of the neighbourhood. The bus stop was close by & restaurants, supermarket & beach within walking distance.

Philip (9/5): Alix and Sid were excellent hosts. - Great location - 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to 4th Ave shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable, hot water always available, convenient washer and dryer and kitchen well-equipped. There wasn’t anything to complain about.

Stefan (10/5): Great location with everything you need only a few minutes from the beach - The apartment is on the ground level of an older sub-divided home. The hosts live upstairs and are very responsive and generally kind and generous folks. The location is excellent on a quiet residential corner but only minutes walk from Kits Beach and even closer to Volunteer Park (great place to watch the sunset!). Street parking is unrestricted and easy to find even when it gets busy. There is a full sized fridge, cooking appliances (hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, etc) and shared washer/dryer access. Overall it was a great experience and the hosts were very accommodating about family travelers with a small child. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Vancouver. While it worked well with good water temperature and pressure, the bathroom only has a shower (no bath) which was trickier to use with our toddler. The AC is centrally controlled and can get a bit chilly in the evenings. These are both minor inconveniences and easily looked over given the competitive price and amazing location.
Mitt (10/5): Great stay with wonderful hosts! - Our stay couldn't have been better. Hosts Sid and Alix were a pleasure to communication with, went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating, and had a bottle of wine and treats ready for us when we checked in. The apartment is clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. The location is lovely and peaceful while also being just a short walk to Kitslano's scenic beaches and to restaurants and shopping on 4th Avenue. We will definitely be back!
Sally (9/5): Wonderful location & great hosts - Sid and Alix were wonderful hosts who could not be more accommodating. This was a perfectly located apartment that worked well for the three of us.
Steve (10/5): A wonderful place to stay in Vancouver. We look forward to returning. - The property is delightful. We stayed here in 2022 and came back to stay for a second time. We were greeted by Sid, the houses’ owner and enjoyed the delicious baked goods and a bottle wine that was provided for us. It is an easy walk to a path along the shore and transportation to downtown. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need including a microwave and air fryer. The house will always be out go to place when in Vancouver.
