Guest Reviews
- Bart (10/5): A cosy cottage in a fantastic location. - What a lovely little cottage this is!
Fully equipped with a cosy living room and a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.
We spent two nights here with our children, which was very comfortable as there are three bedrooms.
We found the cottage spotlessly clean when we arrived. Parking across the street is also very well organised.
So, if you’re looking for a holiday home to visit Canterbury’s old town, this little house just outside the city walls is a really good option!
Thanks, Paige, for the lovely stay! As I’m quite tall—almost 2 metres—the bed was a bit on the short side. Other than that, we have no complaints.

- Daniela (9/5): Perfect place a few days with family - River front, very well designed and clean town house, 5 min walk from the high street town center. Kitchen fully equipped, comfortable split between living room and kitchen and upstairs bedrooms. Master bed a bit on the small side especially if you’re two not very petite people ;-) but we managed..
Towel hangers in bathroom would be nice

- Clive (8/5): Pleasant. The exchange with the neighbour was a dampener - Nicely furnished and well equipped A very restrictive policy with parking. There is free parking which apart from a minor glitch worked well. But getting your luggage 150m from the parking spot to the apartment is an unnecessary burden.
I attempted to park the car for 5 minutes next to the property, not blocking access in any way at all to load the bags and was immediately met with a rather hostile neighbour.
I would suggest the owner change that policy to allow loading and unloading for a max of 10 mins, bit like a single yellow line.
- Egeh (10/5): - The accommodation was lovely we needed for nothing, easy to find.
Would recommend to stay there if visiting Canterbury Nothing

- Mirtill (8/5): Tiszta modern, kényelmes szállás, kicsit zajos az utcai autóforgalom miatt. - Tágas,jól felszerelt konyha, tiszta,újszerü berendezés. A konyha mögötti szeméttárolo látványa, ieetve a ház közvetlenül az autóútra nyílik, ezért hangos a forgalom miatt.

- John-sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Nurdan (10/5): Would stay again! Ticked all boxes! - • beautiful kitchen with all utensils to prep a meal
• excellent location!!! 10 mins walk from big Sainsbury's and Starbucks and from town centre
• beds were comfortable
• host was super quick to respond to any queries
- Dina (5/5): It was a bit disappointing - The location was just on the main road which was noisy.
The cutlery provided was very dirty
There was only 1 bathroom and we were a family of 4 so not convenient at all.
The shampoo and shower gel container provided was empty.
The property was not very clean when we checked in.
There was no washing machine and no coffee machine available.
- Linh (9/5): Superb - Conveniently located near the train station and city center, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Be aware of the low ceiling at the top of the stairs, as taller people may risk bumping into it.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (9/5): Clean, comfortable house in an excellent location. - Close proximity to the Canterbury West Railway Station was good for us and within easy walking distance of all the tourist sites, shops and parks.
Very clean and comfortable. The front rooms are very close to quite a busy road. This didn't bother us, as we were out all day, and the traffic was less at night, but might not be good for a family with young children.
There was no teapot!
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The place was easy to access and in a fabulous location.
Everything we needed for a comfortable stay and excellent quality beds and bedding.
Immaculate all the way through the home.
We definitely are going to book again !!!
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - Super location close to all amenities I was apprehensive about the parking being in a nearby car park - but it wasn't far and everything work really well as described
- Alison (10/5): Fabulous and wonderful location! - Beautiful inside and out. All good.
- Beverley (10/5): Ideal accommodation for a city visit - Beds very comfortable- smartly presented accommodation - good location. Ideal for visiting the city with station a short walk away and the Goods Shed, restaurants and pubs fairly close by.
Great communication from host.
- Julia (9/5): Superb - The location was brilliant. It had a lovely view of the river and was close to the city centre. Parking across the road was free and straightforward. The property was really clean and well-presented. It was well-equipped. The wifi worked well. There were nice touches, like books, biscuits, chocolate and sudoku provided. The host was really communicative prior to arrival. Checking in and out was easy. There were lots of pots and pans, so you could properly cook for yourself (although there could have been more than 4 of each crockery item). The guest book had all the information needed for a comfortable stay. The property felt safe, even though it was on a fairly busy street (pedestrians and vehicles) - the doors felt secure and there were smoke and heat alarms throughout. We all really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. No tea towel or sponge was provided. The windows were a bit tricky to open and close; if left at all open, there was road noise at the front of the house. The stairs were a bit nerve-racking for small children. (A stairgate would have been great.) A latch on the back gate would have made it feel even more secure. One of the bedroom doors didn't close properly.
